FRM-99999 FAILED TO EXECUTE COMMAND IEXPLORE
Hi there,
When I attempt to call the report from my forms (from the browser using IE4), an error message was returned:
FRM-99999: Failed to execute command.
Command=iexplore http://<webserver>:89/sdq.pdf
FULL Details: CreateProcess:iexplore http://<webserver>:89/sdq.pdf error=0
Few users experienced this problem when using IE4, some do not have this problem.
For users using Netscape 4.7 and above, so far have not encountered this problem.
I am using
Developer 6.0 Patch 7
OAS 4.0.8.1
Please help. Thanks.
My remark regarding "PeymentMethodCode" was but a rant, heartfelt though it be. I mean those gits have left bloody spelling errors in their XML-Schemas -- talk about professionalism, talk about seriousness, talk about something you actually have to PAY for.
Note also that BOTH spellings are used: the correct one (with an "a"), below the "BPPaymentMethods" element, and the wrong one below the "BusinessPartners" element.
I don't know why you get that error. As told, the errorcode in the response seems to indicate that the "Object isn't supported".
If you tried with the default sample provided in the doc, that would be quite unlikely.
Dunno, really. Maybe you're lacking permissions?

A Developer 6 Server under Windows NT is working fine.
The Windows NT 4 workstation contains registry settings
corresponding to this previous Developer Forms Server 6
configuration on Windows NT. We configured the Developer 6
Server under Windows NT using the tutorial in %
ORACLE_HOME%/tools/devdem60/web/readme.htm.
From a discussion with the Unix DBA team we concluded that this
tutorial is Windows NT specific.
Does anyone happen to have a tutorial on deploying Oracle Forms
to the Web specifically for Developer 6 Server and OAS4 under
UNIX.
Which Unix Developer 6 Server environment variables do I have to
set under Unix for deployment of forms 6.0 on the web?.

Edit:
Besides a lot of other errors the problem was the systray. It was created 2 times, now login works again. I figured that out via enabling logging for awesome in the xinitrc again.

We have the SharePoint Server 2010 with SP1 environment on which the custom SP2010 designer pages were working as expected before the

I have tried changing the "DataSourceMode" as below, now the insert command is working, but update command is not working.
<SharePoint:SPDataSource runat="server" DataSourceMode="ListItem" />
Also, the lookup dropdown fields are displaying the value as "<a href="Daughterhttp://cpsp10/sites/Employees/_layouts/listform.aspx?PageType=4&ListId={8F62F444-FB6A-4F03-9522-C4696B45DCD1}&ID=10&RootFolder=*">Daughter</a>"
instead of only "Daughter".
Please provide the solution to get rid of this issue.
Thanks

http://blog.jussipalo.com/2012/01/sharepoint-2010-data-source-control.html
While there can be many causes for this generic error message, in my case the first parameter or ddwrt:DataBind function inside the SharePoint:FormFields element was
'i' and I was working with an Edit Form. Changing it to
'u' as it was with every other FormField fixed the issue.
<SharePoint:FormField runat="server" id="ff1{$Pos}" ControlMode="Edit" FieldName="Esittaja" __designer:bind="{ddwrt:DataBind('u',concat('ff1',$Pos),'Value','ValueChanged','ID',ddwrt:EscapeDelims(string(@ID)),'@Esittaja')}"
/>
Explanation:
DataBind operation type parameters (the first parameter) are listed below:
'i' stands for INSERT,
'u' stands for UPDATE,
'd' stands for DELETE.

"error: command failed to execute correctly" on several packages
Last night, when I updated before shutting down, I got a few errors, as in the subject. As it was very late, I thought I'd pick it up today.
Unfortunately, the pacman log only lists one of the ones that failed as libgpg-error. The other one that I remember erroring was gawk. There were a few others, maybe four or five, but I couln't reliably recall them all, so won't guess.
Here's a new attempt to reinstall gawk with --debug. I did the same with libgpg-error and the error occurred at the same place, with very similar output, so I think the issue is the same for all failures.

pacman thinks the upgrade/reinstall was successful in that the latest version is installed.
I did a search on the forums and the only other issue that I thought was connected might be microcode not up to date, but I had followed the update instructions some time back and as far as I can tell, the microcode is up to date.
I have two main questions:
1) How do I work out what's causing the error, from above?
2) Is there a way I can work out which packages gave the error, so I can make sure they're installed properly?
Thanks.The following packages also had problems
( 2/17) upgrading glibc
error: command failed to execute correctly
( 3/17) upgrading binutils
error: command failed to execute correctly
( 4/17) upgrading coreutils
error: command failed to execute correctly
( 8/17) upgrading gcc
error: command failed to execute correctly
( 9/17) upgrading gcc-fortran
error: command failed to execute correctly
(10/17) upgrading gcc-libs
error: command failed to execute correctly
Does anybody have a clue?

The data source control failed to execute the insert command
Hi,
We have installed SharePoint 2010 on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition. We've started using the "Employee Training Scheduling and Materials" template that is available at
http://www.microsoft.com/government/en-us/campaigns/Pages/SharePoint-Templates.aspx. Till last friday (17th Oct,2013) everything was working fine, but after that we are getting an error "The data source failed to execute the insert command"
when I click on the "Save" button available on the Registrations.aspx. Could any one help me resolve this issue?
Kinldy revert if you need more details.
Though I see many posts regarding this, most of them are associated with Windows Server 2008 R2. So, most of the hot fixes mentioned there could not help me.
Your help me is greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking time to go through this post.
Thanks and Regards
Praveen.
Thanks and Regards Praveen.I have the exact same problem. I updated the 2007 Employee training template to the 2010 version and then 2 months ago, presumably when our Sharepoint had the July 10th patch 14.0.7102.5004 applied, it all broke. An attempt to register for a class always
comes back with "Failure to execute insert command".
I tried changing the DateSourceMode from "ListItem" to "List" that gets rid of the error but does NOT update the registrations list.
Anyone have any success fixing this? -
Hi, twice now when upgrading the kernel I have seen
"error: command failed to execute correctly"
in pacmans output, any ideas as to what it might be?

the error occurs when someone tries to add an event in the calendar & this issues seems to be across the entire sharepoint 2010 foundation farm. How can i resolve this without rebuilding the farm?Hi, We are having the same issue. Did anyone get a solution for this? I tried following solution.
open
the page with SPD and update this value.
OLD: <SharePoint:SPDataSource
runat="server" DataSourceMode="List"
NEW: <SharePoint:SPDataSource
runat="server" DataSourceMode="ListItem"
That gives me "Access Denied" error.

Any solution??? -

MDM Database command execution error. A SQL statement failed to execute
Hi,
When we tried to execute an MDM Java query modify/create, we get the following dump.
Is this anything to do with the parameters that we pass or is it something to do with the database ?
We have checked the code and we do not find anything wrong with the code at all.
We are using Java API 5.5.63.73 and calling MDM API's using WebDynpro for Java.
I have noticed this issue has been raised here as well :
Database command execution error. (While mounting a repository)
com.sap.mdm.commands.CommandException:
com.sap.mdm.internal.protocol.manual.ServerException: Database command execution error. A SQL
statement failed to execute. The actual error may have been written to a log file. at

Edited by: Subramanian Venkateswaran on Dec 10, 2008 8:11 PMHi Subramanian ,
The error looks more like a problem with the data base or MDM system rather than the java code.
Which is the underlying database you are using with MDM? As some users have faced some difficulties when working with the DB2 Data base,If this is the data base you too are working upon then may be the issue could be similar,if possible try using the Oracle or SQL data base as these databse show more compatibility than a DB2 when working with MDM .
Also check the MDM users autorization and authentication to modifyor create recordrs in MDM.try given the user the ADMIN rights,and tehn try and see if teh user is able to modify/Create the mdm records.
Lastly you can check the database instance and listener configuration correctly.try restarting the Database service form the system if possible.
Hope It Helped
Thanks & Regards

I m working to migrate from XP SP3 to Windows 7 using SCCM 2012 R2 CU4 but I have a boot error similar as above. Normally with CU4, XP will be supported by WInPE 5.1 (ADK 8.1). it's a refresh scenario, the task sequence was launched from XP. USMT will
use a local store.

Thank
LourhI'm not entirely sure if this was fixed in the newer CUs, but have you seen this thread?

It offers a couple of alternatives too (i.e., http://davejaskie.com/2014/04/03/installing-a-legacy-boot-image-in-sccm-to-support-xp-migrations/)

Hi All,
I am facing a weird problem with the Runtime.exec command. I am trying to run a simple Linux command from within Java. But i noticed that commands gets stuck if i run it on a file larger than 2K! If I run the same command on the linux shell it does not fail and it does not get stuck. it ends within less than a second.
Since I do not want my program to get stuck, I used some code someone published (cannot remember who... but thanks :)) which kills the process after some timeout time. But I still failed to understand why the command gets stuck. Its definitely has to do with file size, since if i take the same file and remove some lines from it, the program does not get stuck. Again running the same command on linux shell does not get stuck and finishes very fast.
Here's the simplified version of my code,
import java.io.BufferedInputStream;
import java.io.IOException;
import java.io.InputStream;
import java.util.Timer;
import java.util.TimerTask;
import java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException;

Hope someone can help me figure out why this is happenning
thanks
emanThanks ... somehow I missed this issue..

Compilation failed while executing: ADT
I have a project that I've been successfully compiling for iOS in Flash Professional 5.5, with uses AIR 2.6. I decided to try compiling in Flash Builder 4.6 using AIR 3.1. It runs fine on the desktop, no errors or warnings. When I try to do an Ad Hoc release build, it fails with java.lang.NullPointerException at java.util.TreeMap.getEntry(TreeMap.java:324), (The Export Release Build dialog does not let me select the text, otherwise I'd paste the stack here)starting at com.adobe.air.ipa.BitcodeGenerator.main(BitcodeGenerator.java:82) and saying "Compilation failed while executing: ADT"
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Regards,
JohnHi John,
Could you please try packaging it on command line using ADT (available @ C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.x\sdks\4.x\bin)
# adt -package -target ipa-ad-hoc -provisioning-profile <path to mobileprovision> -storetype pkcs12 -keystore <path to p12> -storepass <password> hellworld.ipa hellworld-app.xml hellworld.swf
Is it specific to ipa-ad-hoc target only? Could you try it with other targets like ipa-app-store or ipa-test-interpreter
Please share the adt version by executing following command.
# adt -version
-Thanks
Pahup
