From Final Price (Laid-in Price) to its constituents

Hi all,
We are working on a scenario where a Sales Rep can give a final price for a Lot e.g USD 5/gallon. Now we need to work backwards to compute all the taxes, fees etc to pay Federal and State governments.
Any thoughts on how that can be accomplished.
One thought I had was to make PR00 Manual and let Sales rep enter prices, system calculates all taxes and gives him final price. With trial and error, he gets to the right price.
Right now, we are still not clear about the Volume of such transactions but there is a chance that option above may not be something that will be accepted.
Will appreciate any thoughts on the problem.

In SAP you can design the pricing procedure like below to achieve this. We tried this scenario for brazil pricing and it worked.
1) In first step keep ZPR0 similar to PR00 but statistical. Here you can manually enter the final price / get the value from another system.
2) Here PR00 calculation starts:- PR00 value = (ZPR0 value / (1+ (Tax percentage from condn record/100)+ (Disc percentage from condn record value/100) + all the necessary component condn records) Code this logic in Alt calc type.
3) Tax = (PR00 * (Tax percentage from condn record/100)) This one is reg calculation.
4) Disc = (PR00 * (Disc percentage from condn record/100) This is also reg way of calculation.
5) Like rest of the things follows.
Since we are utilizing condition record values in step 2, we may get wrong amount if there is a change in conditon record. Because system refers to KONP and select first row. In simple terms, system will refer to old condition record even if we change the validity of the same. So in SAP, we have a std ABAP method to get condition record which I shall check and tell you if need. There we need to modify the code such that the system should pick condition record based on current validity date. This brings flexibility to you as we dont need to worry about changing tax condition records.
Example:
ZPR0      200 (Final expected price) Enter manually or get it from another system / online store etc. No act key assigned
PR00     202.020202   ZPR0 /(1+(1/100)+(-2/100))
Tax 1%     2.02020202   PR00*(1/100)
Disc 2%     -4.04040404 PR00*(-2/100)
If you are increasing any number of pricing components, add the same at the denominator of PR00 calculation.

Final price of the Sales Order calculation on payment term

Out Business requirement as follows.
1) one ZNAP pricing condition will be maintained by the monthly wise by business for pricing. this is a statistical condition only checking at sales order level only. this condition will check with Final price of the Sales order.
Now the requirement is
1) based on payment term of the Sales Order. plus if its a credit payment if the its CASH payment. these deduction should be added to ZNAP condition, and same will calculate with Final price, while creating Sales order.
For Example:
ZANP condition maintained 1000 USD.
while creating the SO:
If the payment term of the customer: PT30, ( it means payment with be in 30 days of the bill creation date)
system should do the below calculations
1) Scenario
Sales Order: Final price :                                       1500 USD( maintained by the Sales User while creating the SO)
ZNAP price                      :                                    1000 USD
according payment term 30 days                            20 USD ( as per table maintenance for calculation of the payment term.)
Calcuation:                                                          1000+20= 1020 (approximate need to add as interest rate)
Then final it should display final price 1500-1020= 480 USD.
2) Scenario:
If the payment term Cash:
ZNAP                                                            : 1000 - 20= 980 ( approximately and deduct, from the condition due to cash payment its like discount)
calucalte"                                                       1500-980= 520 difference
this purely internal pricing calculation with final price...
pl let me know how to get this in the pricing. and payment could be 30 days, 45 days 60 days etc.

I believe your requirement can not be met with Standard pricing and you will have to create Routines for getting this result.
From scenario I believe you will be doing below points:
You should Create Z-Table with Payment Term and respective rates against those payment Term.
You should create a statistical condition type(Ex. ZNP1) and create Calculation Type routine with Logic to get KOMK-ZTERM field and derive value from Z-Table and update XKWERT field.
Calculate addition of ZNAP and ZNP1 (With +ve or -ve Signs)
And then again make deduction of derived value from Finale Value.

Final price in Demantra

Hi All
I am trying to set formula to derive final price of item from multiple price list setup. We have got 6 different pricelists. The item will have its price only in 1 pricelist. The item is not repeated in any other pricelist. Currently my client expression for series item_price has several if conditions checking each pricelist one by one. Can I use any other function to simplify this?
Appreciate any help on this.

An alternate option:
While loading these price lists into Demantra, you may want to load another series which represents unit price for all the items. This can be done as part of load process with a simple customization.
This will simplify your series expressions and would also help with performance of worksheets which use price list as series.

Final Price of Unlocked iphone 5s..?

If you are shipping it to a Pennsylvania address, and you live in Pennsylvania, and are buying from the online Apple Store in the U.S., then you will be given a final price just before you complete checkout.
Tax may be based on a price slightly different from the actual retail price you pay when purchasing a cell phone. But if your sales tax is roughtly 5.9%, then the $37 is about right. You may also see a $6 recycling fee as I recall. Anyway, you'll have the chance to see and approve the final price before making your sale final.

Change price control indicator from standard price to moving avg price.

Hi All,
There is a material which has a negative stock for the previous period and the previous period is already closed.
When i want to change the price control indicator from S to V for that material in the current period, it shows an error that "negative stock is there, unable to change price indicator".

the price control indicator can be changed from standard price to moving avg price at any time .......with some restrictions.
And one of these restriction is the one you see.
You must not have negative stock.
Hence you have to make the negative stock zero
Since your negative stock is in the previous period, you either have to allow posting into previous periods (trx MMRV , of course Finance has to allow this as well) first. Then you can post e.g. a 202 movement with previous period date which has a quantity that equals your negative quantity. then you change your price control, then you do a 201 movement (again with previous period date), finally you can restrict posting into previous periods again in MMRV.
or you just wait a few days, then with the month end closure your curent period becomes previous period and hopefully you will not have negative stocks again. then you can change the price control without any problem (I usually take care that moving average and standard price are equal befor I change the price control)

Pull Price from basic Price List

Hi Experts,
Could you help us build a FMS to populate item price in a marketing document from the basic price List (price list 1) if the price is blank, not found in the Special Prices and then in the assigned pricing list for a specific customer?
Let's be more specific with an example:
Items 1 and 2 are on a Special price List for customer C20000.
Items 1, 2, 3 and 4 are on Price List Distributor, which is assigned to C20000.
All items are in the Basic Price List.
Order placed for items 1, 3 and 5.
SBO finds the price for items 1 (from Special Price list) and 3 (Price List Distributor) correctly, it works perfectly. However, price for item 5 is blank. In this case, we want to look for the price from the main price list, let's say price List 1.
The customer can't populate all items in every Price List, as it would be very hard to manage. By the way, Price Lists are entered manually or uploaded, not based on the Basic Price List.

Hi Art,
The issue is actually supported by SBO out of the box. You have three types of prices, and the system looks in the following sequence:
1. Special pricing by BP - Item. This list includes few items with specific pricing agreements.
2. Price List assigned to the BP (our customer has one by Customer Group, which includes some items with manual pricing and the rest at the regualr Basic Price List.
3. Basic Price list. The Group Price Lists are based on the Basic Price list with a factor of 1 (or anything you need). SBO automatically populates all items into the Group Price Lists, except for the items that have already a manual price entered.
The tables that it uses are:
OPLN - List or price lists
ITM1 - Prices lists (actual pricing)
SPP1 - Special pricing (or SSP2)
In summary, we didn't have to write the FMS.

SBO - Shift from Standard Price to Moving Average Price

Hello,
My customer has created few items with Std Price.
There was not item cost allocated to them and they discovered that the cost of good sold is fully allocated to purchase price variance.
Now, few logistical movements have been done on these items and they want to shift from Std price to Moving average price.
How can we do so since the field "Valuation Method" is no more updatable?

The Valuation Method is modifiable only if the stock is zero and there is no open delivery or goods receipt transaction (which could modify or need the cost) for the item.

Different final price between apple online and email

Deleting single row from Special Price for Business Partners

Hi Experts,
How would I go about about deleting a single row from Special Prices for Business Partners across all BPs when for most of my BPs this is the only special price they have. I have tried using Copy Discounts function but once you are down to 0 rows the record has effectively gone from the table so there is nothing to copy.
Hopefully I won't have to go thorugh 5000 records and delete each one idividually.

How to Load Historical values from Material Prices

I have to load historical values from Material Prices.
I'm using extractors 0CO_PC_ACT_02 and 0CO_PC_ACT_05.
Do you know how I can do this in a easy way?

This extractor0CO_PC_ACT_05 takes the data from table MBEW. ( data for the current period, previous period and last period of the previous year )
If material ledger is active, then it takes the information from table ckmlhd for those materials.
It does not look like fetching from MBEWH.
Please validate my above comments with sample extraction for a material and plant.
If that is the case, I would suggest you have to create a custom extractor based on MBEWH to get the historic price data and with 0CO_PC_ACT_05 you can get the prices for the previous period as they get completed .
0CO_PC_ACT_02 gets you the inventory value and not the price in the same way.
You might have to think about 0CO_PC_ACT_06 and 0CO_PC_ACT_07, if you have project stock and sales order stock in your business scenario.

How Can I do an export that from Final Cut Pro 7 that is specific to these settings?

I am current trying to export out a movie from Final Cut Pro 7 but the settings that are required are very specific and I was going to try it through compressor as well but I wasn't sure if that would work either.
Here are the settings:

First of all, what are your sequence settings? Looks like they want stereo AND dolby 5.1 audio tracks embedded in the quicktime (I've delivered a few films like this). Do you have a surround sound mix?
You will almost always have more options and control in compressor over fcp so that's the way I'd go, but not sure compressor will give you the ability to match these specs.
Do you understand about safe zones for graphics? If not, post back.
I don't see any option to set the GOP in xdcam in compressor. This may be built in to the xdcam format.
I don't see any option for 720 xdcam hd in compressor.
There are many other tools available for this kind of work, but they may be out of your price range. You might want to just find a facility with experience in deliverying this sort of thing.

Is there an upgrade path from Final Cut Studio 3.0 to Final Cut Pro X ?

The price of FCPX pretty much is the cost of the upgrade of FCPStudio, but a much better value (at least so far -- every update has been free.) However, it's only the single app so you might feel like you're not getting as much for your money. Don't be fooled. Most of Color and Soundtrack Pro are built into FCPX. FCPX will conform video automatically so Cinema Tools aren't really needed anymore. The Motion engine is part of FCPX, although I do recommend buying Motion 5 (an extra 50 bucks.) (Motion 4 seems to have died in Yosemite - you can't even launch it.)
I "upgraded" from Final Cut Studio 3... it took me about a week to decide to pack up all the old software for good. YMMV. However, if you use DVD Studio Pro... hang on to that.
