FrontEndHost Error with Weblogic Integration Domain
We have created a WLI Domain with an Admin server and two managed servers in a cluster. We have deployed lot of applications on this. We had a release of these applications which was workin on Production mode. The release name was R500. After that when we did R600, it did not work on Prodcution but worked on Development mode with the following error.

Can anyone help me resolve this error or anyone who has faced this problem earlier, please reply.
As per this error, we do not have wlw-runtime-config.xml file anywhere so we are unable to determine whether the problem is with host name of the proxy server in wlw-runtime-config.xml file.

Stylesheet error with weblogic application server 9.1
Hi ALL,
I deployed my application on weblogic AS 9.1.
i have created my own domain using sun JDK 1.5.
i am able to log in into my application & able to do all the tasks.
but when i click on a specific tab weblogic AS 9.1 waits for some time & give this error on its console :-
<b>ERROR: 'Variable 'can-modify' is multiply defined in the same scope.'
FATAL ERROR: 'Could not compile stylesheet'</b>
i am not find any more details in the weblogic server error log.
the same application works fine with weblogic 8.1 sp4 + jdk 1.4 & tomcat 5.0.27 + jdk 1.5( without any error)
so i think the problem is not because of jdk, it something to do with weblogic!
does anybody has info about this.
it will be great help.
regards
RahulI found that error is coming from this line.
<b><xsl:variable name="can-modify" select="/dashboard/@can-save|/dashboard/@can-saveas" /></b>
can somebody suggest why this happening, same code works is weblogic 8.1 & give error in 9.1.

Custom Tag Error with Weblogic SP9
Hi
I seem to be having a problem with a custom tag that I wrote. When I run the JSP
on WLS (without a service pack), the generated java code uses the weblogic.utils.StringUtils
class to interprete jsp expressions that are passed into the custom tag's attribute
(on the JSP). The method called on this StringUtils class is valueOf(). This method
in essence makes sure that the result of the expression is not null and then subsequently
calls a toString() on the value. Note that if the value is null it simply returns
an empty string.
The problem is that when we go to service pack 9, this method is not called (StringUtils.valueOf()).
Now the problem arises if first of all the result of the expression statement
in the custom tag definintion (on the JSP) is null. Secondly, it will also error
out when the setter method is called within the custom tag, if the object returned
from the expression does not match the one that is expected by the tag... in our
case a String.
Here's a sample usage of the tag:
<wescombop:selectTag
selectName="buildingNumber"
selectedItem="<%= buildingJB.getBuildingNumber()%>"
trimSelectedItem="true"
selectTagDataName="buildingNumberDataAttribute" />
Note: buildingJB.getBuildingNumber() returns BigDecimal
Here's a snipett of the line generated java:
* Without the service pack
comwestfieldgrp_wescom_bop_view_tag_SelectTag_1.setSelectedItem(weblogic.utils.StringUtils.valueOf(buildingJB.getBuildingNumber()));
*With Service Pack 9
comwestfieldgrp_wescom_bop_view_tag_SelectTag_1.setSelectedItem(buildingJB.getBuildingNumber());
Note: The setSelectedItem() method expects a String object as a parameter, so
the code with service pack 9 will result in a compilation error, since buildingJB.getBuildingNumber()
returns a BigDecimal.
Let me know if you need more explanation.
Has anyone experience this problem before... Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks all.
Niran

Error with Desktop Integration on Macs
My JWS program runs fine on several Macs (running on 1.4.2-XX and 1.5), however, whenever I try to use the desktop integration, I get an error creating the shortcuts. There are no problems on Windows clients.
I would suggest you use the clean uninstall link and downloading 4.5. It has proved very stable with XP I use it.
I would strongly advise against loading the media manager though, It is less that stable software. I take it you know where to download 4.5?

Added new Eclipselink MOXY and started getting the below error. This error seems to be resulting from module class loader not finding web classloader reference. The class is there in one of the openCMIS jar placed inside web-inf lib.

I'll be happy to include the error report file if that is helpfulI'm sorry I have not been able to determine what caused the errors. In many cases I didn't actually notice it until I went to try to use the console or worklist and found the server was down. I then looked at the log to find the error. There was at least once when I was just navigating the console and it died, but I don't ermember exactly where. Nothing I hadn't done before. I'll try to pay more attention.
I just restart the server to recover. -
Get SOAP Cannot Create XML Document reader error with Outlook integration?
Hi,
We installed Outlook Email Integration on a windows XP / Office 2007 machine and it installed OK. However when we click the "Add to CRM On Demand" button and try to login we get the following error message when we click the 'Sign In" button
"SOAP: Cannot create XML document reader"
Has anyone come across this? Are there any pre-requisites for using this add-in? e.g. Service Packs, .NET framework etc?
CheersIt may not be the case...but pls. check if MS Word is defined as editing tool for email.. It should not be.

How do I create an Integration Domain with 3 servers ?
Hi,
I would like to create a WLI domain with three servers:<br>
Ø One for the administration console;<br>
Ø One for WLI;<br>
Ø And the last to deploy EJB Session (which are the service called by WLI)<br><br>
To create the domain, I use the WLI 8.1 SP4 Configuration Wizard.<br><br>
After creating the domain with 3 services, I have not succeeded to start the WLI Server.<br><br>
For another test, I would like to create a WLI domain with two servers:<br>
Ø One for the administration console and WLI;<br>
Ø And the last to deploy EJB Session<br><br>
To create the main server, I have used the configuration wizard. For the other, I have used the console administration. With this configuration, the message brocker was not initialised.<br><br>
For the last test, I have created a domain with single server and I had no errors.<br><br>
<b>So, my question is: What is the method to create a domain with three servers?</b><br><br>
Thanks for your help<br> <br><br><br>

Weblogic Integration 2.0 fails to install on Win2000
Hi,
I was installing Weblogic Integration 2.0 (eval copy) on Windows 2000. The first
component which got installed was the Process Integrator 2.0 piece. I chose Cloudscape
for the database. All other inputs were default values. At the end of the installation,
the installer came up with a message that it did not install properly. The install
errors text file tells me that there was a runtime error during Cloudscape db
creation. (listed below)
Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be? Any kind of input would be
helpful.
Thanks
Karthik.

Runtime exec failed.Karthik,
We also got this error installing WebLogic Integration 2.0 on a Windows 2000 machine.
It seems that the Cloudscape initialisation fails if you are installing to a directory
with spaces anywhere in the path. After changing our target path from c:\program
files\etc... to c:\wli20\etc... the installation concluded successfully.
Hope this helps.

Weblogic Integration - Timer Event
(Sorry about my english, but it isn't my native language)
Hi, I'm working with weblogic integration 8.1 sp6 and I didn't found enough documentation about Timer Event. When I'm creating a new Timer Event Generator, Weblogic Integration Administrative Console required 2 parameters (Generator Name and JMS Connection Factory JNDI Name), and JMS Connection Factory JNDI Name show three options (weblogic.jws.jms.QueueConnectionFactory, wli.internal.egrdms.XAQueueConnectionFactory and com.bea.wli.b2b.server.TopicConnectionFactory). My question is: What is the best "JMS Connection Factory JNDI Name" option?.
Thanks in advance.(Sorry about my english, but it isn't my native language)

Integration of ALBPM 5.7 with WebLogic 9.2 ::: Error
Hi All,
We are trying to configure ALBPM5.7 Enterprise Edition(with Weblogic) and WebLogic 9.2 Server. We have followed one particular document which states the use of Oracle as a Server.i.e ALBPM_5-7_WebLogic_9-2_Installation.pdf
But we are using MS-SQL Server. We are also using Merlia.jar as a JDBC Driver.
Now the issue is, we reach @ the end of the document by installing the jar file named "fuegoj2ee-lib-all.jar" through WebConsole. But we are getting stuck while installing the EAR file through Webconsole. Actually this file is neccessary to start the ALBPM 5.7 Engine to run.
We get "Direcory Service could not be reached" on DOMAIN console.
We are need and seeking a solution for the same.
Thanks
ShailHi.
We have tested the configuration of the engine. Its says "Directory Service has been found". So there is no issue of the directory service being null as such.
