Fullscreen on Screen 2
Hi there,
I have 2 monitors hooked up and I want to run my flash exe
file (with a fullscreen FScommand) on Screen 2 instead of Screen 1
without changing the display settings. Does anybody know how to do
that?
Thanks!
Only way todo this is to use a third party tool like ours.
FlashJester Jugglor
Download a FREE evaluation copy from
http://www.jugglor.com
and then go to
Jugglor 2.2 -> Setup Settings -> Windows Display ->
Multimonitor Support ->
Show the window on Monitor No -> 2
Thats it, no coding required.
Hope this helps.

Fullscreen Multiple Screens Mac
Is it possible to go fullscreen on multiple screens on mac?
I can't get it to work.
Then i tried a workaround with an UNDECORATED stage.
but this gives this http://postimage.org/image/565ld2m1b/
where the blue is the desktop.
Code: -----
private void setupStageFullScreen(Stage stage, int screenNumber) {
ObservableList<Screen> screens = Screen.getScreens();
Screen screen = screens.size() <= screenNumber ? Screen.getPrimary() : screens.get(screenNumber);
Rectangle2D bounds = screen.getBounds();
stage.setX(bounds.getMinX()+1);
stage.setY(bounds.getMinY()+1);
stage.setWidth(bounds.getWidth());
stage.setHeight(bounds.getHeight());
if(screen.equals(Screen.getPrimary())) {
stage.setFullScreen(true);
} else {
stage.toFront();
}A DMP connects to a single screen as it has a single HDMI output. Some monitors allow daisy chaining across multiple monitors but this a function of the monitor not the DMP. With this option you can get the image to fit across multiple monitors like a 2x2 monitor setup. The primary monitor connects to the DMP and then the rest of the monitors connect monitor to monitor using a HDMI cable. You then program the main monitor for how you want the screens to show the image.
The datasheet is referring to content can be placed in separate regions on a monitor. This way you could have a video in one region, text/image in another and an RSS feed in a third.
Hope this helps. -
[SOLVED] flash fullscreen which screen to use
Is there a way to tell flash or firefox to maximize on only the screen you tell it to? Right now even if I move the firefox window over to my second screen TV-CRT and maximize a flash video (such as on youtube) it maximizes on the other primary screen the LCD and not on the TV-CRT... Ofcourse if I disable the LCD screen in my xorg.conf then the video file maximizes just fine on the TV-CRT screen. The weird thing is, in Xubuntu I had this working just fine... this is the only thing that has bothered me when switching over to Arch. I know its just some config issue I am overlooking. Any help is appreciated... it is quite annoying to have to reboot into windows just to show a youtube video to some friends.
Last edited by ugkbunb (2009-04-18 22:11:40)I found that this is by-design according to Adobe. They consider it a security issue to allow a fullscreen flash app that is not on the primary screen. *sigh* The workaround is to use greasemonkey and one of the various scripts posted to allow for mplayer/vlc/xine playback of youtube. I am currently using "Youtube without Flash" greasemonkey script with totem-plugin it seems to work great:

White screen when in fullscreen watching videos
when watching lower resolution youtube video in fullscreen my screen goes white! why is this? goty it yestoday brand new!
Hi Andrei1, thanks for your reply. Sorry if im not explaining
myself properly, let me start again. Im using this code in my main
source file:
import flash.system.fscommand;
fscommand("fullscreen", "true");
fscommand("allowscale", "false");
stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;
The presentation loads full screen but preserves its pixel
size - the presentation runs fine until it gets to the flv video -
when the video starts - it takes over the whole screen and does not
return to the main screen when finished.
I need the video to stay within its loading area on the stage
without it going into full screen, whilst the presentation is
playing in full screen mode. -
Screen recording - recording part of the screen or low resolution
I want to record part of the screen in quick time x, has anybody found a way to do this?
As a work-around, I tried reducing the screen resolution to 640x480 or 800x600 but the recorder doesn't seem to pick anything up at this resolution. After recording nothing happens then when i switch back to full resolution i get the message:
*Recording failed because no data was received.*
Make sure that the media input source is turned on and playing.
Message was edited by: nz_straboI am just trying to figure out how to record a screen shot, i dont care if its full or part screen, any advice for me?
Not sure if there is any difference between OS 10.6.1 and 10.6.2, but all I did was select the "New Screen Recording" File menu option and press the record button (circle with red dot in center) to make a test recording which was automatically saved in the Movies folder when the "stop recoding" key shortcut sequence was pressed. As to SnapzProX, it is a commercial program which you can purchase. It allows fullscreen/partial screen recordings and can be set up to record a fixed area of the screen or a fixed size portion of the screen area which follows the cursor around the screen. -
Macbook display shows black and white lines when fullscreen
If i leave my Macbook on for a while without shutting down and then I view a photo or movie (in player or safari) fullscreen the screen shows just black and white lines. Sort of like bad tv reception. It has happened a few times and a reboot has fixed it but it comes back. Any ideas anyone?
ThanksI have a similar problem. Not sure you're on here (since the post is really old) but did you manage to work it out? How?
My thread:
https://discussions.apple.com/message/19007548#19007548
My Imac froze earlier today as I was dragging an image from safari into indesig and when it froze the weirdest pattern overlaid the screen. It looked just like the opacity pattern from photoshop with grey and white squares. I turned the computer off using the power button and unplugged everything.
Now when I try to start it these weird lines appear on my start up screen (see link)...
http://meijerladdaruppgrejer.wordpress.com/2012/07/24/oops/
as you can see the apple and the wheel appears as normal...
... then it moves to a normal looking white screen (perhaps a bit greener than usual) and around 30 seconds later freezes at the blue screen.
I've tried the cmd + alt + p + r several times but it won't help.
If i press alt during start up I can see and choose my hard drive but just end up at the blue screen again.
Can I try starting it up in safe mode or something? -
Problems w/ YouTube in fullscreen in Safari
iMac running Snow Leopard (OS 10.6)
Safari Version 5.1.9 (6534.59.8)
Flash player is up to date: 11.7.700.203
When I try to enlarge the YT video player to fullscreen, the screen will enlarge for no more that a second and then shrink back down to the original player size, but the image INSIDE the player is fullscreen! Obviously I can't watch it b/c I can then only see a small portion of the video image, so I have to reload it and watch it in the small player or, if I want to see it in full screen, use a different browser. This is annoying to say the least. This only happens with Safari and only on YouTube. Can anyone tell me how I can even begin to troubleshoot this? When I last spoke with Apple, the tech support guy said he had never even heard of something like this happening, and the YouTube site is worthless for getting help with an issue like this.My coworker found this fix. The current version of silverlight won't start if the machine is running with the discrete NVIDIA GPU. Some apps need it and using an external monitor will cause it to use the discrete. Turn off all your apps and unplug the external montitor. This should put you back in the integrated Intel GPU. Now try to start a Netflix video, once its running you should be able to plug your external monitor back in and start other apps.
You can also use this utility http://gfx.io to see which GPU is being used. -
How do i reposition desktops and full screen apps in the top of mission control?
Full screen apps have there own space and so do desktops, how do i re-order them?
Hi Anthony, hi ya guys!
Actually you can do a bit of a trick to re-arrange a fullscreen apps but there is one thing which you should know - the first screen can't be a fullscreen app screen.
So, here is what you can do.
Example: you have 3 fullscreen apps running on your OS: Pages, iPhoto, Mail.
So you go to Mission Control and you see on the top the first screen which is an empty screen or a screen with any opened apps (not a fullscreen apps) and also you see your fullscreen apps in a row of 3 screens.
So talking about these 3 screens (windows). Your Pages screen is the first fullscreen app window, iPhoto is the 2nd and Mail is the 3rd but you want to make it the 1st. So to do this you need to go to your second window (iPhoto), and press twice the Mail icon in your dock (one click and then another click).
It will make your 3rd screen with Mail to take a place of 1st screen and iPhoto will be moved to the end.
It all should be done while you are in a MC.
Good luck! -
ITunes won't go into fullscreen?
Fullscreen opened perfectly fine for every video on iTunes and then suddenly wouldn't anymore. When I try to enter fullscreen the screen flickers, it makes a sound, and fullscreen doesn't open. The video continues playing in the iTunes window fine though.
This just started happening to me too. Does anyone know how to fix this? I use iTunes to watch a lot of tv/movies on my Mac and I don't want to watch them in a little screen.

MacOS - Fullscreen causes white background
Hi there,
i have a problem with the fullscreen function in MacOS.
If i switch to DisplayState Fullscreen, the screen becomes white for half a second and then the APP appears.
I've tried the newest beta of AIR(3.7) but i've still no luck. I can't reproduce it on Windows.
Is there any solution to fix this problem ?
Greets,
muschkoOK, I have the answer on the text background problem. Although I'm a long-term Mac user, believe it or not, I've never had to sample a color with the color wheel! I used the magnifying glass to sample the yellow in Notes, saved it, and then applied it as the page color.
That just leaves me with problem #2, which is why I have two iCloud accounts listed.
Thanks! -
Fullscreen pushing the limits?
Cause i really need this fullscreen option i tought to give it another try..
by not using javafx pure but wrapping it with a swing application
so the idea is to start it as an swing application who sets the resolution and then display my javafx application :)

Why don't you use basically something like that? It will automatically fit the dimension of your screen

import javafx.scene.layout.Pane;

Pane pane = new Pane();

[SOLVED] Openbox + fullscreen wine = focus problems
Hi everyone,
I've got this problem with Openbox: when i play a game via WINE (such as World of Warcraft or Guild Wars 2) in fullscreen, the screen become darker and unresponsive after a few mouse clicks. Then if I alt+tab twice, the wine screen become active again... until i decide to click again.
If I play in non-fullscreen windowed mode, it somehow works (WoW and Hearthstone work but GW2 windows blinks dark for like 1 seconde everytime i click).
If I use only the keyboard, everything's fine.
If I set winecfg to create a virtual desktop, everything's fine too.
If I use any other window managers (i tried with xfce, fluxbox, dwm...) i have no problem so i guess is something with the way Openbox and WINE interract.
Any idea what this could be ?

So I have a 15" Macbook Pro, and everything has been running fine... up until recently. When watching Youtube videos, my Mac has had no problems loading the videos and going fullscreen into HD mode. Recently, when clicking on a video, and going fullscreen, my Mac starts to go slowly. The video takes awhile to load (still in fullscreen) and so I exit out of fullscreen, the screen lags and it doesn't completely return to normal size and just messes up alot. So what I am asking is: Is there a way to return my Mac to normal speed and non-lag or is it just something with Youtube recently?
1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press the "Delete All" button
Install Adobe Flash Player.

Can I Recreate a program in a test system with these things what he has send me(Especially with the Text elements & GUI_interface file ) so that I could debug it...

Pno offense, but while staring on the screen awaiting this thread to update you could have done it manually as well.
Report and INCLUDE data should be copy and pasteable, manually create status and text elements. It doesnt look like a monster task. -
Basically, the first thing I noticed was (after syncing and charging my ipod) the screen of my ipod had 2 or 3 gray colored lines running across the screen. Lately, I’ve noticed that my desktop iMac periodically has the same lines, (from time to time) when surfing the internet (via Safari). The biggest problem now is opening new window boxes … i.e. opening a itunes, iphoto, or searching my hard drive while I already have Safari open. My iMac would consistently freeze as I was trying to add any jpeg pictures attachments to my Facebook page and while I tried to attach files to emails. The drop down box, which comes down, displaying everything in my hard drive, would (9 times out of 10) freeze midway through … so I could see half the hard drive box. The iMac then needed to be manually restarted, and on occasion it would restart itself. Also, I notice while pulling Youtube or Netflix fullscreen, the screen itself usually freezes or just goes to black and needs to be restarted.
Thanks for the help!I would do some basic repairs for starts.
Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them. Disk Utility's Disk Repair is not perfect and may not find or repair all directory issues. A stronger utility may be required to finish the job.
After that Repair Permissions.
No need to report Permissions errors....we all get them.
