Function module needed to read all the BOM statuses

Dear Friends,
In a report we are using CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 function module to get the dispaly the BOMs. But it is displaying only the BOMs which are in Active stauts e.g 1 & 3.
My requirement is needs to read both active and inactive BOMs. Inactive BOM status is 2.
suggest me if there is any another FM or any another way to get all the BOM status materials.

You need to supply another application for alternative determination (field CAPID). It should be possible to customize one for your needs using "Define Order of Priority for BOM Usages" and "Define Applications" under "Production->Basic Data->Bill of Material->Alternative Determination"

Functional Module Extractor not pulling all the record on BW side

i have written a FM extractor to pull data from CDHDR and CDPOS table. the Records count shows on RSA3 is more than 3,00,000 but while pulling it on BW side it brings only 41,000 Around records.
I steps i have taken is -
tried setting and resetting the package side in Info package.
Tried putting the default package size to 50K in FM setting
but nothing is working.
It seems like the pacet size is not incrementing in the code. i have tired to find ou the fault but coult not and RSA3 is working fine.
can anyone please suggest a correct piece of code or find out where exactly the fault is?

The structure of your generic extractor function module should be something like:
If initialisation
Store parameters, clear packet count
Else
If first packet
Create cursor
Endif
Read block of records from cursor
If cursor returns no more records
Raise NO_MORE_DATA exception
Endif
Process records from cursor and output
Add one to packet count
Endif
This function module code can get called repeatedly. Possibly you are only extracting data for the first packet?

I started learning SAP HR(functional).Basically I am a ABAP technical guy.I realized that each module like PA,OM,TM & PAYROLL are conver vast areas.I would like to know ,from career perspective,whether i need to specialize in particular area like OM alone thoroughly or need to concentrate on all modules.Which will be helpful in market?.Based on you friends reply,i need to move.Please advice and assist....

Time (sometimes Time/Payroll but then a specific payroll...like US Payroll...or interfaces to 3rd parties like ADP)
Payroll
ESS/MSS/HRAS

Function Module To read all the Files in a Given UNIX directory.

Can anyone provide me with a FUNCTION MODULE which reads all the files available in a UNIX directory?
I have the UNIX directory given. I need to find all the files available in that particular Directory so that I can choose and process accordingly. Probably I can store all files in an Internal Table.

The Function Module /SAPDMC/LSM_F4_SERVER_FILE is interactive wherein we can select only one file.
But my requirement is I need to collect (probably in an internal table) all the files exixting in the given UNIX directory.
Can you please find in that direction. I would be very grateful.

Laptop hard drive broke so had to buy a new one and obviously now need to sort out my itunes.
Did try downloading all my purchased stuff onto itunes but it has missed some things off, and there are some files I did not purchase from itunes so need a way of getting them back on there.
Sure this question has been asked a million times but can't find anything to help me on here so thought I'd ask.
-Did have a look at going onto the start menu and opening the hidden items thing but couldn't see any reference to ipod or device on it so wasn't sure how to do it that way.
-On itunes under my device when its connected, the section about manually restoring and backing up, would that help me? Because that says it will manually back up my ipod to my computer then could restore that back up, obviously I don't want to accidnetally get rid of everything on my ipod so didn't want to try that just in case without checking.
(And yes I have disabled auto sync to device when conncected!)
Can anyone help me please? Sorry if i've overcomplicated this!

Backing up an iOS device will copy some data to a backup file within iTunes, but this excludes all media. You can also transfer iTunes Store purchases from the iDevice to iTunes but, without using a third-party tool, nothing else. As long as you do not sync the iPod with your new library, the media that's on it will remain ... for as long as it keeps functioning, is not lost, stolen, eaten by the dog, ...
You may also have an option to recover your previous library from your old laptop; as long as its hard drive isn't fried, a computer repair store or technician may be able to extract the drive, mount it in an external enclosure, and copy your data to another PC. Whatever you choose, there is no real alternative to having all your media on your computer, managed by iTunes, and regularly backed up to another device/location.

My photos are missing from LR. I've read all the forums, tried the fixes, and nothing works. Ready to dump LR.

I've read the advice columns on getting the photos back into LR. I've right clicked and left clicked. I've located and searched. My photos are still missing in action. I am ready to dump LR after many many years of using it. I operate Windows 8 on an HP laptop.

this kind of an authentication is not possible with the linksys SOHO products...it could be possible with the enterprise level products..
however, you can set up a wireless security on the wireless access point and this requires every user to enter the passcode to connect to the network...here , one problem could be that once connected to the network , the password will be saved on the user's computer...they need not enter the password again...
the set up you can have is like
modem -> a wired router -> WAP54GPE
the next WAP54GPE will be configured in wireless repeater mode...the number of WAPs will depend on the kinda range you want...the range of a WAP54GPE is around 300 fts....

Function module to create Invoice from the Delivery no ?

Hi All,
Is there any way (function module) to create an Invoice from the Delivery no and the Billing Type ? We do not want to go with BDC for transaction VF01.
Details:
We want to generate a pro-forma invoice while saving the delivery. We will have 'Special Function' (NAST-NACHA = 8) in the output determination and a routine would be called from there. That routine would contain the code to generate the Invoice. We will have only the 'Delivery no and the Billing Type' in that routine. So trying to find any function module which can create an Invoice from the Delivery no and the Billing Type.
Any suggestion / hint is welcome.

The only option for you is to call the FM "GN_INVOICE_CREATE" .
There is no special FM availaible to pass only the delivery number at this point.
You need to retrieve all the delivery information details and need to pass it to the FM "GN_INVOICE_CREATE".

Function Module not being displayed in the Transport Request

I Created a FM "RH_ACTIVATE_WFOBJECT_AFTER_IMP" in my SAP System. After I created due to problem in editing I have deleted the FM and also deleted it from the request.
I have re created the function module and if I see the object directory entry I find the following
Identical request locks
Request User Task/request Object
**** ***** R3TR FUGR RHWS
In the request I cannot find the function module but only the function group. Please help me to get my function module visible in the transport request.

Hi ,
When your creating the FM for first timw with new FGRP then no need to worry .
You can see only the FGRP in the transport request number and when you move this transport request to further systems your FM automatically transport with the FGRP.
Next time when your creating a new FM under the FGRP which is already moved to production you can see only your FM name under the transport request.
When you go to FGRP main program by follwing the path
FGRP -> Disply FGRP in SE37 you can see the main program of the FGRP there if you see one include with TOP and XX .
double click on the XX Include.
there you can see allthe FM under that FGRP.

Reading all the files from Application Server in a specific folder

Hi,
I want to read all the files present in a folder on Application Server ( AL11 ). My problem is that I do not know the name of the file but I know the folder path where files are present.
I need to go to this folder and pick up all the files present in this folder and then process these files in my program.
Can any one help me in this!
