Hi,
When i am trying open responsibility "Counter template" getting error like "Function not available to this responsibility
Change responsibilities or contract your System Administrator"
Could any one please help me how to debug this error.

I check the custom top path in $APPL_TOP/admin/adovars.env... its fine there..
but the $Apache_top is not there...

If ur referring to forms, u need to search in appropriate forum, as this forum is only for OAF queries, and if its realted to OAF page, check the the function of oa page is attached to the specific responsibilty .

Hello everyone, it will be nice if someone can give any tips/tricks to fix this error.
We have two web tiers (load balanced). This error showes up only on one of the web tiers (we can name is node-B). When we keep node-A down and try with node-b up this error is thrown. The vice-versa works fine.
Error:
*"Function not available to this responsibility. Change*
*responsibilities or contact your System Administrtator."*
This error appears when clinking on a particular form.
The final troubleshooting we have done, is to clone node-B from node-A and still the error persists.

Hi user, Apart from Srini suggestions, please check this forums, did you check to see if maintenance mode enabled before starting applications.

Function not available to this responsibility for a custom new application

Hi,
I have followed all steps (except the one regarding the concurrent manager, on line help) described on Metalink Note: 70276.1, 216589.1 and the document titled as: "How to integrate applications release 11i with custom applications"(provided as another Metalink Note, i do not remember which right now....).
The problem occurs when having connected as a new user created ...lets say XXTEST (with a responsibility XXTESTRESP) calls a function(form). The error message "Function not available to this responsibility" occurs...
Do i have to do something else...(for example run the autoconfig, because i modified the custom env file which was created to define and export the variables of the custom applications created)...????
When i source the APPSORA.env file, i get the contents of the env variable :echo $XXTEST_TOP as required....
/..../...../xxtest/11.5.0
Note: I use EBS 11.5.10

I am implementing Quality Module.
I have copied the collection plans
Defined parent-child relationship
Updated menu entry to point to the correct plan (Mandatory). Made changes to Form Functions window
I am in Receiving Transactions and I enter the quality results, select the child plan (Nonconformance Master Plan) and click on Enter. I get the message "Function not available to this responsibility. change responsibilities or contact system administrator".
Ideally I should be getting Nonconformance form.

How do you suggest me to go to Quality Plan?
I have selected the child entry mode as "immediate". So even if I try closing the form, it is suggesting me to enter the child plan (As per trigger I set) and I do select the child plan from drop down and click Enter.

Hello All,
We developed a custom form and was working fine in Testing instance.
Last week testing instance was refreshed.
After that all the custom forms are not working. Seeded forms are working properly.
We checked the form setup(ie form, function, menu and we ran compile security and bounced the server).
Custom reports under the custom top are working fine.
Only the form functions throwing the error
"Function is not available for this responsibility".
Any ideas. Is the test.class having any impact on this.

Valid size not available for this creation when using Greeting Card feature

Using PSE9 with a Mac. When attempting to create a greeting card, after selecting the photo, the Greeting Card, I receive a pop up error message as follows:
"Valid Size Not Available For This Creation". (All other Create functions such as Photo Book, Photo Calendar, and Photo Collage appear to be working). I have been in contact with Adobe Support and have been instructed to do a number of things from creating a new preferences file to uninstalling and re-installing the PSE software, with no result. Has anyone else run into this problem, and if so have found a fix? Thanks.

I've been tearing my hair out over this one also. I've been on hold for over 10 hrs with Adobe Support waited over almost 2 weeks and still no resolution. I'm trying to create the Save the Date cards for my wedding and I can't wait for Adobe. Removing the preferences file and uninstalling/reinstalling does not fix the problem.
That said I did figure out a workaround for this. It's easy but it does require Windows. For me this was no big deal as I do own a Windows box.
Get the free trial version of PE9 for Windows and install it. If you don't have a Windows computer get to a friend that has one
Upload some of your photos to the PE9 Windows Organizer (it's identical to the mac version)
Select Create and then Greeting card. Photoshop will launch the guided edit feature for greeting cards.
Select the Layout feature and once you find out that you like save it as Photoshop project. Repeat this step for as many layouts as necessary.
Copy your Photoshop project files (and any folders) to your mac.
Open the project files as you would with any other Photoshop file.
You can now select the Create feature. You will be able add your pictures and resize them, you will be able to add/remove text, you'll be able to change the backgound/borders, add graphics...pretty much anything...EXCEPT automatically modify the layout. If you click on Layout, PE9 returns nothing. You can however go into full edit mode and if you have decent Photoshop skills you can make any changes to the layout manually.
If I had to put money on this I'd say that there is a problem with the PE9 Mac installation package. For some reason it is not deploying the layout data/files or it is not putting them in the right place. For this reason the program can't find the layouts when the user selects the greeting card guided edit.

We have a custom form developed based on Template.fmb, when we register in custom application top(XXLLP_TOP/forms/US folder), it is giving error "Function not avilable for this responsibilty. Change responsibility or contact sysadmin".
In AOL responsibility , all we did was
a) Registered custom form XXLLPINVPKWB for custom "LLP Custom Application",
b) Registered a custom Fuction for the form
c) Assigned the Function to the Inventory menu (INV_NAVIGATE)
d) Wwitch Resp to the Inventory resp
e) Click on the menu entry for our custom form and its giving and error that the Function is not available for this responsibility. Please contact system admininstrator
My understanding is that when I click the menu it should atleast
give an error that the fmx is not available in so and so path
in the status bar and not the error message "Function is not available ...
Please help us resolving this issues

Did you set the CUSTOM_TOP variable for this application in the env file? What does "echo $XXLLP_TOP" return after sourcing the env file as applmgr user?
Are you able to access other forms in this responsibility?

Back up all data.
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:

From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari, and test.
I've seen an unconfirmed report that the "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can also interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you might need to remove it as well, if applicable.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

I am using StageWebView to show an HTML page. I want to call a function in my flex mobile project to be called from a JS function. Using ExternalInterface, I have

I am getting "Error: Error #2067: The ExternalInterface is not available in this container. ExternalInterface requires Internet Explorer ActiveX, Firefox, Mozilla 1.7.5 and greater, or other browsers that support NPRuntime." when trying to run the application.
And my project targets Android platform. And I have Mozilla, Chrome installed on my desktop - although I am not user if that is relevant to the problem.
Please help in resolving this issue.

I want to display a local HTML file and then allow for JS to Flex communication. I am new to Flex and AS. As per my understanding, StageWebView is the only way to
show a local HTML file in a mobile project. If the script interface is not available - then I cannot achieve JS-to-Flex communication. So is there any other way to do this??
Please help ...else I will have to abandon my foray into Flex, AS and go back to Android Java.

I have SharePoint Server 2013 and the enable usage data collection is enabled. There is usage logs and data being generated, but SharePoint says there is not data available.
A web analytics report is not available for this site. Usage processing may be disabled on this server or the usage data forthis site has
not been processed yet.
What can I do?

This error message will appear erraneously, if you skipped the update to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.1 and went straight from an earlier MacOS X version to Yosemite, without first updating to iPhoto 9.5.1 and associating iPhoto to your AppleID.
Try first to buy iPhoto with your AppleID instead of updating. Delete iPhoto from Applications, but don't empty the Trash, then go to the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto. If you are lucky, it will show as free and you can buy it directly.
If iPhoto is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support: Ask for a redemption code. You will need to provide a prove of purchase for your mac with iPhoto preinstalled.

Still I cant open file in browser as we always used to. Unfortunately we don't have Visio services in Farm.

Based on the error message, it seems that the Visio Graphics Service is not started or the Enterprise feature is not enabled.
I recommend to check the things below:
Go to Central Administration > System Settings > Manage service on server > check if the Visio Graphics Service is started > then click Application Management > Manage service applications > check if the Visio Graphics Service application
is created.
Go to the root site settings page of the site where you got this error, click Site collection features to check if the SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection Features is enabled.

IPhoto & iMovie update not available with this Apple ID

Hi everyone - I'm at a loss as to how to fix this issue...
I'm trying to update iPhoto and iMovie from the Mac App Store but I get the following error message:
Update unavailable with this Apple ID: This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.
I've read the other threads about the apps being 'linked' to previous Apple IDs so I logged out and back in with an older / previous Apple ID that I had used before but it still wouldn't allow the update to the two apps - in fact the App Store said that the older ID hadn't even been used in the App Store.
I updated my OS to Yosemite yesterday so I don't know if that's affected anything?
Really hope someone can help - it's starting to frustrate me!

Please test after each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes. Keep in mind that no one here represents Apple or can help with customer-service issues.
Step 1
A purchased app can only be updated by signing in to the App Store with the same Apple ID that was originally used to buy it. There's no way around that limitation, which also applies to free apps. If you can't sign in with the buyer's ID, delete the app and reinstall it. You'll have to pay for it again, if applicable.
Step 2
If you get the alert when trying to update a bundled iLife app, select the Purchases page in the App Store and locate the app in your purchase history. If there's a button marked ACCEPT on the right, click it.
If you have a used Mac, the bundled apps were linked to the original owner's Apple ID and can't be transferred to you. Reportedly, customer service has issued redemption codes to some second owners who asked, but it's not guaranteed.
Step 3
If you're trying to update iLife or iWork apps that were installed from a purchased DVD, or if you have a refurbished Mac bought directly from Apple, contact App Store customer service for a redemption code. You may be asked for the part number of the DVD.
Step 4
From the App Store menu bar, select
Store ▹ View My Account
Enter your Apple ID password at the prompt. At the lower right corner of the window that opens, click the Reset button. Close the window.
