Function when UserId is entered returns # of folders a user has for year 07

I need help create a function that will count the number of folders a user has. When you enter a userid the result should show a count of folders that particuler user has been assigned in 2007.
The tables with the information are
1. VALIDUSER has userid
2. FOLDERPROCESS has assigned user
3. FOLDER has folderyear.
userid VARCHAR2(128)
assigneduser VARCHAR2(128)
folderyear VARCHAR2(4)

Hi all, i am final year student doing some research about User Interface Fragmentation on Mobile devices. As we already know, there are a huge variety of mobile screen sizes, and usually to provide users the best experience interfaces, we often have to customize the UI of one application in one phone to another. So i wondered when it is OK to have the same UI for all screen sizes?

It's usually OK if you don't use CustomItem, avoid extra-long Strings in titles etc. You might also need to scale any Canvas / GameCanvas graphics and Images using a scaling factor computed from the detected screen size.
I have 3 applications for free download from GetJar.com (search "Colorz") which have only the one version for all MIDP 2.0 devices, and there have been no complaints in a combined total of over 11,000 downloads ;-)
In any case, UI diversity is the least of the headaches any j2me developer faces, there are many features of j2me that are unimplemented or incorrectly implemented on various devices. Even the CLDC reference implementation has unaddressed bugs.

How do I resolve a "'FOND' font association usability" error message? I've upgraded to Yosemite and now I get this message when using Font Book to add fonts I've used for years.

I just updated my MacBook Pro and iMac desktop to Yosemite 10.10.2.
Now I am having font problems. I tried to add fonts I have used for years using FontBook, but it says 'FOND' font association usability and warns me to not use these fonts.
This happens on both my laptop and desktop.
Any idea what to do? I use these fonts (about 12-15 fonts from the Times, Helvetica Neue and Giovanni families) regularly in my work.

In a table control program i need to call a function when i press enter key...

You are not getting any value in SY-UCOMM when you press "Enter",because the function code is not set for 'Enter" key in "Function Key" of the GUI-STATUS..
First define some fucntion code say 'ENT' for the Enter button available in "Fucntion key" of the GUI status.Once you done and activate the program and test it.The function code which u defined will be coming to SY-UCOMM field when you press 'ENTER" button and you can handle the various fucntionality whichevcer you want on "ENTER" .
Eg:
case sy-ucomm.
When 'ENT'.
Endcase.

Get The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'sp_send_dbmail', database 'msdb', schema 'dbo', even when user has permissions

I get the error message: The EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'sp_send_dbmail', database 'msdb', schema 'dbo'. This happens when I run a job, even though the user has the correct permission on sp_send_dbmail and is a user in msdb.
If I run the procedure through SSMS it runs just fine and sends the mail.
I have run out of things to look for, any ideas on what else it could be?

To send Database mail, users must be a user in the msdb database and a member of the
DatabaseMailUserRole database role in the msdb database. To add
msdb users or groups to this role use SQL Server Management Studio or execute the following statement for the user or role that needs to send Database Mail.

I don't know if this will help someone but I am posting this for that purpose. In the past when I first had this problem, I'd read a post somewhere (sorry, long ago, don't have the link) where an individual was having the same problem and they stated that when the MBP got heated, that's when the keys would stop working, and they went into the MBP and jiggle some stuff around (a specific wire, I'm not electronically inclined so I know NOT of what they spake!). Well I didn't want to do that but it always stuck in the back of my mind. I had given up, really, and was planning to take my MBP to the apple store. But by chance one night I left my MBP on the floor where it's cool, and when I turned it on, the problem went - poof! It seems there was some validity to the post that spoke about heat, because my problems started when I would stream foreign dramas on my MBP for hours at night, and I would hear the fan going off all the time, and in the mornings, my "p", "enter", "0", ";", and all the function keys would stop working.
So, maybe try keeping the MBP in a cool place when it's off. Since I've started doing this overnight every night (keeping it on the cool floor, out of reach of any big feet), I have not had a single problem with my keyboard.
Hopefully this might help someone.

Pressing Enter/Return should commit the selection but it doesn't why? I have not changed any short-cut preferences in PS CS6.
When I use the Marquee or Lasso tool and make a selection and I'm happy with the selection, I press the Enter (PC)/Return(Mac) and the the "marching ants" should disappear...

Now, when I press the Enter key, the Feather box (next to the Anti-alias) on the upper left corner goes from grey to white and wants me to change the value?

I was not able to reproduce the behavior you mentioned, though I don't normally make a practice of using the Enter key for that function (I tend to double-click to close the selection).
Nor could I reproduce the behavior by holding down a modifier key.
Have you tried restarting Photoshop?
Rebooting?
Resetting Photoshop's preferences to defaults?

I set my default to Calibri 14, but every time I press enter (I make a lot of bullet lists) the font changes to Calibri 11.

Did you change the default font after you typed a few words in a note container?
Setting the default font in Microsoft Office OneNote affects text that you type in new note containers only. It does not affect existing text or text that you add to existing note containers.
If you want to change the font in an existing note container, you need to change it manually under
Home tab > Basic Text.

Everywhere that I've checked it is not possible to do this. I would like to even do this using the vkb. I hate having to stretch my thumb all the way up just to send a message. It's messaging, not a report or email. Seems backwards. Hopefully some day Apple can add this option.

Since it was erased and no sim card the owner probably got rid of it of some reason.

I have a folder with 10 folders inside it, 8 of the folders will not function when I use "show view options".

I have a Folder with 10 Folders inside it, 8 of the Folders will not function when I use "show view options", they always default back the default. The "show view options" works on all my other Folders in my system, even on the first two of the Folder in question. How can I correct it? I have tried every thing I can think of, even deleting the Folders & reintalling them. For some strange reason the "show view options" only does not work on the last 8 Folders in the Folder in question.

Instead GarageBand recognize my keyboard and i can play normally, also, if it can help, those are the Audio and Midi Logic Preferences and the Controller Surfaces Setup with the keyboard connected :

According to the "How ToRun Planning Sequences on Save and other events (WEB)" paper we can run functions when click save button or open the layout. Anybody know how to make the function run when the user hit enter key. We had done this at my previous clint, but forget the detail.

To run functions on save, do the following:
1. define your planning function or planning sequence (which is a Function Pushbutton) in the web interface builder,
2. On the Planning Layout, equate "Function After Data Change" to the planning function defined above.

Using "Enter /Return" Key to submit a query

All:
I could not find any straight forward solution to my problem. I have report that has a search column (text) and I limit records based on the value entered in this text item. I have a "go" button that initiate the fetch. However, how do I achieve the same functionality when I press the enter key. Currently, when I press the enter key, it reports the following:
ERR-1777: Page 5 provided no page to branch to. Please report this error to your application administrator.
Restart Application
Any help would be appreciated.

Rajesh - If the only two ways to submit the page are to use the button or to press the Enter key in a text field, then you can simply remove the when-button-pressed condition from the page branch. Then the branch will fire now matter how the page is submitted. As it is now, the branch does not fire when the Enter key submits the page so the engine looks for the next branch that could be a candidate but fails to find one and you see the error message.
Sometimes you need a page that is submitted by the Enter key to be handled as if a certain button (or "request" value) were pressed. In these cases, you can use javascript to make the Enter key set the request value to your liking. One way is to put code like the following in the page's HTML Header attribute, using "GO" as the request value in this example:< script type="text/javascript">

</script>With this code, a page submitted with the Enter key would have a request value of "GO" and could be treated the same way as if a button with a request value of "GO" submitted the page.

Is there a way that I can subsitue the caps lock key for the return function? If not, then is there a way I can configure Enter/Return function using the left side of the keyboard (such as Command + A)?
