Suggested list size is limited with 10 elements using autoSuggestBehavior

Hi,
I am using the autoSuggestBehavior with inputListOfValuesComponent. suggestedItems come from a ViewObject. When I type a any letter the suggested items list is always is limited with 10 items(event the suggested list is longer) and user must go to another page to see the rest. Is there a way to increase the suggested list size?

With the latest release of Jdeveloper we have a new component with auto suggest, so you dont need to implement any kinda of listeners or javascrips.I have used it as below ;

Where the suggestedItems list comes from a view object. My problem here is when I type any criteria it offers me only the first 10 items for the rest I must go to the search page offered again by the component. This ussage is not being so friendly for the users. I thought that there must a setting for the size of the offered items list.

Hi Balakrishna,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to filter the list view web part with more than one filters.
I recommend to use the OOB Choice Filter web part to achieve this goal.
Edit the page where the list view web part exists and then add the Choice Filter web parts to the page based on your need.

Input Text with LOV in table, the search list will be limited with 25 row?

Hi, experts
I got a strange problem with JDev 11.1.1.5.0, I created Input Text with LOV in Data View for one attribute with default setting, the LOV worked fine when I drop the DC with 'ADF form'; but when I drop it with ADF Table, the search function will just show 25 rows, I can see it try to fetch data when scroll down just like form, but then nothing happened, only the first 25 rows will be show without any error log.
Any special configuration needed for LOV in table? or a bug in LOV?

You can change the range size on the VO which you use for the LOV. If you only want to change it for the VO the lov uses, select the VO in question in the application module data model and clic edit. There you enter -1 fro raneg size.
If you want to change it globaly for this VO you open the VO and select the Tuning section and check 'all at once' which should get you all rows. Be careful that the VO don't return too much rows. A LOV wiht more then 50 rows is too big. In this case you may choose an other component.

Saving each image as different size - is it an option for you? I would save images with their name as: 20x30.png, 16x20.png etc etc.
Or explain whether you want these in a webpage in which case only one image is necessary and different sizes are displayed with good CSS code. this is question for Dreamweaver forum if this is what you want.

Does anyone has any sample mapplet with Address Dcotor valiator suggestion list. I am creating a mapplet with Input --> AddressValidator (suggestion List) --> output I am having the following questions, 1. If select suggestion list mode, what should be the output format for the mapplet. Suggestion list is going to return multiple suggestions, but the output format I am going to create may not be accepting multiple result format. 2. I want to promote this mapplet to power center and when I do that, is the output data format for the addressline_1, addressline-2 is going to be repeatable element ?

Have a problem in Numbers with entering data directly into a cell when a table reaches a certain size and special characters are used?

I am creating a list of words with special characters in some of them. I get to a point where I cannot enter data directly into the cell. I have to use the data entry bar at the top in the toolbar. Any solutions available?
This is the table I am creating...
From row 25 on, I am only able to enter data into the cell through the toolbar at the top and not directly into the cell itself. I believe that this problem originates from the special characters I have inserted in the previous records because if I do not use special characters, then the spreadsheet acts flawlessly. Have there been issues in Numbers with data entry, the size of a table, and using special characters?

I would try removing the rows with "special" characters one at a time to see which one is causing the problem

Using Lightroom in Conjunction with Elements

I currently use Elements 10 (and love it) and am considering purchasing Lightroom 5. However it seems like the lines between some of the Adobe products is getting blurred. Photoshop Elements seems to be getting more of the capabilities of Photoshop CS. And from what I've read and looked at on Lightroom, it doesn't seem like it really can do anything that Elements cannot do, other than do some functions easier, one example being straightening.
First question: If I have both Elements and Lightroom, can someone give me one or more practical (and not overly complex) examples of using both together on a single photo? Please don't include functions that are available in both pieces of software, unless it gives superior results that can be obtained by one but not the other.
Second question: I don't use raw (yet), so if editing a jpg with both Elements and Lightroom, doesn't it have to be saved in one before editing in the other? Or is there some type of interface that is available between the two pieces of software where you can edit first in one and then in the other without saving in between? Obviously I am asking because I am aware of the loss of info due to compression when doing multiple saves and opens on a jpg. Yes, saving at level 12 might minimize it but there would still be loss of info*.
* Now that I finished the question, I think I know the answer. If editing first with Elements, save it as a psd rather than a jpg, then open the psd in Lightroom (is psd a common extension in both?), make the additional mods, and save it as a jpg. This way there is only one save of the jpg. Does that work?

In my opinion, the only sensible workflow is as follows: import into Lightroom, organize in Lightroom, edit in Lightroom (do as much editing in Lightroom as possible) and then transfer the photo to PSE for additional editing that cannot be performed into Lightroom; return edited photo from PSE to Lightroom. I point out that many people find that the editing in Lightroom is powerful enough so that only a small percent of their photos need the additional editing of PSE.

None of the capabilities of Lightroom are limited to RAW photos. After you edit a photo In LR and want to send it to PSE, the built in LR function called "Edit In..." will make the copy for Elements to use, launch PSE (if it is not already opened) and allow you to do your edits. Then you save the edited photo (not Save As...) and Lightroom will recognize the changes made in PSE.

In the process I described, there are two such saves (one by LR and one by PSE). You could eliminate the quality loss (at the expense of much larger files) by telling LR to create a TIF instead of a JPG for editing in PSE.

thank you for your fast reply. Please find attached my code where I marked the array creation with green circles and the control part with a red one. I removed all the other stuff and loops which are not relevant here (heart beat loop, value initialization, DMA fifo, etc). The sampling rate should be up to 50kS/s for capturing signals with a frequency of the range of 10 to 500Hz).

I would like to do it in the FPGA because my host part (cRIO PPC) is already overloaded and I had a lot of problems to get it running and save the data to a file with the high sampling rate (50kS/s). I was thinking that simple array functions would be an easy thing for an FPGA. Or am I wrong??
Please let me know if you have any idea or if you need more information.

Create an object representing the row (setter/getter). Then have a list of these objects. Drag and drop the table and point its value to the list and the type to the row object

1. This element makes your XML document malformed:<removed>500</removed_ids>The name of the start tag and the closing tag must always be identical.

2. The type of the nodes with which you would like to replace your <Link> elements is called "ProcessingInstruction". Processing instructions are to be handled somewhat differently from elements.
3. The string "><?dctm id ='100'?>" is misspelled. Additionally, it is meant to be a processing instruction so it should not be created as a text node.
4. You use a node list to replace elements by means of a loop. A loop is only useful when there is a system to the data to be processed, which is not the case with your processing instructions:<?abc id='100,101' city='xxx'?>
