FW adding 1 pixel to the width of my export

Not sure what ther problem is... I have a document 772x477
and it is a rollover with 14 frames. When I bring it into
dreamweaver the width becomes 773, I did a search for 773 and
nothing came up, all the widths were set to 772, I also noticed the
various spacing all added up to 772 and the large image is 772
width. Anyone else with this problem?

Could we look at the page?

    Hi Guys,
    I am using the full width video widget on a site. The widget was working perfectly however I have just added additional content to the site and re-uploaded and now the video is not working! Please help I have tried everything and am freaking out as this web-site has been payed for by my client.

    Many thanks.
    With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
    Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store

  • How can I change the pixel height and width of a photo in iPhoto without changing the dpi

    I want to change the dimensions of a photo. Current dimensions are 480 pixels on each side. I want to make a copy that is 100 pixels on each side, but I want the dpi to stay the same. In iPhoto I tried exporting the copy using the new dimensions, but the result was a blurred image. Is there another way to do this?

    to change the pixels crop to 100x100 and export with maximum dimension of 100 - see the user tip on exporting foo details on Export options - Exporting From iPhoto
    As to DPI - digital photos have no DPI since DPI is Dots Per Inch and digital photos have no inches hence no DPI - when you print a photo then DPI is a mathematical calculation - dots divided by inches - it is not a setting
    Print a 480 pixel photos as a 1" square and the print it 480 DPI (480 / 1 = 480) and print the 100 pixel image as a 1" square it will be 100 DPI (100 / 1 = 100) - print a 480 pixel photo as a 4.8 inch square and it is 100 dpi (480 / 4.8 = 100) - just a calculation - not a setting

  • Can't seem to line up the widths of two elements in my CSS

    On this page
    pictopoetry.co.uk/category/poem/
    You can see there are two elements I want to line up but they miss by a pixel
    The two rules for the CSS are below.
    So my question is how do I get those two elements to line up neatly?
    Thanks
    Martin

    You are at the mercy of the percent sign...By defining the width of .entry as 100%, you lose the fine-tuning ability that pixels gives you.
    By changing the width to a stated 609px (!), I was able to make them meet sweetly:
    div.post div.entry, div.page div.entry, div.post-cat-fifteen div.entry, div.post-cat-three div.entry     { /*added div.post-cat-fifteen */

  • How to make a JPanel containing buttons  take up the width of the window?

    I'm creating a GUI and I have a button group that I want to be the width of the window. I have another JPanel on the same window that doesn't have a button group in it and it takes up the width of the window. I don't think I'm doing anything differently creating the two, but I need consistency.
    The best way I can explain this is with code, so I created an example of what I am doing here:
    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    public class test extends JFrame {
         public test() {
              JPanel win = new JPanel();
              JPanel buttonsPanel = new JPanel();
              JPanel statusPanel = new JPanel();
              win.setLayout(new BoxLayout(win, BoxLayout.Y_AXIS));
              buttonsPanel.setLayout(new BoxLayout(buttonsPanel, BoxLayout.Y_AXIS));
              statusPanel.setLayout(new BoxLayout(statusPanel, BoxLayout.Y_AXIS));
    //          createRadioButtonsPanel
              ButtonGroup buttons = new ButtonGroup();
              JRadioButton currentMap = new JRadioButton("option1", true);
              JRadioButton newMap = new JRadioButton("option2");
              JRadioButton noMap = new JRadioButton("option3");
              buttons.add(currentMap);
              buttons.add(newMap);
              buttons.add(noMap);
              buttonsPanel.add(currentMap);
              buttonsPanel.add(newMap);
              buttonsPanel.add(noMap);
              buttonsPanel.setBorder(
                        BorderFactory.createTitledBorder("Create: "));
    //           createStatusPanel
              JLabel statusLabel = new JLabel("Loading...");
              statusLabel.setBorder(BorderFactory.createLoweredBevelBorder());
              statusLabel.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(400,20));
              statusLabel.setMinimumSize(new Dimension(400,20));
              statusLabel.setMaximumSize(new Dimension(400,20));
              statusPanel.add(statusLabel);
              JPanel statusButtons = new JPanel(new FlowLayout(FlowLayout.RIGHT));
              JButton pauseSearch = new JButton("Pause");
              JButton cancelSearch = new JButton("Cancel");
              statusButtons.add(pauseSearch);
              statusButtons.add(cancelSearch);
              statusPanel.add(statusButtons);
              statusPanel.setBorder(BorderFactory.createTitledBorder("Status: "));
              win.add(buttonsPanel);
              win.add(statusPanel);
              getContentPane().add(win);
              pack();
              setVisible(true);
         public static void main(String args[]) {
              test s = new test();
    }When I compile and run this class I get this window:
    http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/1538/exampleek5.png
    You see how on the bottom, "Status" JPanel takes up the entire width of the window? When the window is resized, the border is also resized. I would love to have the top "Create" JPanel have the same behavior. How do I do this?
    Thanks in advance!

    It can get confusing when using the BoxLayout. The box layout takes into consideration the X alignment of the components as well as the minimum and maximum lengths.
    So I suggest you read the Swing tutorial on [url http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/uiswing/layout/box.html]How to Use Box Layout for examples and explanations on how these values are used in the layout process.
    It may be easier to use a BorderLayout for the high level layout manger, since it will resize a components width when added to the NORTH, CENTER or SOUTH.

    How can i make to display again the content of the line...?
    Thanlas on advance

    If you use a baseline grid and space before/after your spaces must by necessity equal the leading (using the align to grid option will force them to the grid, regardless of the chosen size). The grid should match the leading of your body copy.
    If you have headings that you want space before and after, don't align them to the grid, but make sure that the total of the space before, after, and leading for the style add up to a multiple of the body text leading. That will work smoothly everywhere except at the top of a column, where the space before is ignored, and will be added to the space below by virtue of the align to grid on the body copy.
    If instead of having all the copy lign to the grid you just want the top and bottom lines flush, and you want the leading within the paragraphs constant, but a variable space between paragraphs, set the text frame to vertically justified, then set the maximum spacing between paragraphs to a ridiculously large number and all of the extra space required to fill the column will be split between the paragraphs.

  • REQ: Add 'Fit-width' or 'Fit-visible' view mode, in which the zoom level is automatically set based on the width of the _current_ page.

    Currently, the default zoom level when viewing a page of a PDF file is automatically calculated based on the width of the "widest" page of the document. This means that, if the document contains one page that is wider than the others or is in landscape orientation, then the default zoom, when viewing all the other narrower pages, is set in a way so that the page does not use the full width of the screen. This results in very poor experience, because the zoom level and the visible area of the page have to be constantly adjusted for each page. The latest update (at the time of writing) has added some extra view modes, but not the much needed 'Fit width' or 'Fit visible'.
    Personally, I can find no reason valid enough to justify the lack of such a view mode. Automatically setting the zoom level based on the width of the current page so as to take advantage of the full width of the screen should be a must have feature for mobile devices, if not the default behavior. The current default behavior regarding the zoom level is pretty much useless, even on 8"/10" screens. There should be a view mode in which the full width of the screen is always used to display the document.
    Examples of documents for which the Adobe Reader for Android provides a poor reading experience are:
    documents which contain some of their pages in landscape orientation.
    publications which, apart from the main content, also contain the full front and back cover in a single page (usually first page which is much wider than the content pages) or any other extra pages like cards or application forms (that are meant to be printed) which usually use an A4/Letter page size etc.
    documents which have been cropped by external utilities or scripts so as to eliminate unneeded white margins (in some cases not all pages have the same width).
    Please consider fixing the default behavior in future releases of the Reader for Android or add a 'Fit width' or 'Fit visible' view mode.
    Thank you in advance.

    Improved descriptions of example documents.

    To add to this, if you prefer you can separate your JavaScript from your JSF pages.
    Add a folder (I named mine 'js') to your application's ViewController project's public_html folder.
    Via JDeveloper, create a new JavaScript file inside your newly created folder and place your JavaScript functions inside it.
    You can then 'load' the .js file using the method Shantala described, with the addition of an added 'source' property to the af:reference tag.
    (This can also be a URI reference to a JavaScript file hosted on a web server)
    <f:facet name="metaContainer">
      <af:resource source="/js/myJsFile.js" type="javascript"/>
    </f:facet>The benefits of this 'split' are cleaner JSF page source and also code-highlighting and formatting within the .js file making finding and fixing bugs in your JavaScript much easier.
    It appears however, that when using <af:resource> to load scripts, once the page has been submitted even once, the JavaScript is no longer available to the page. Which isn't very useful.
    A solution is to use <trh:script>.
    Add xmlns:trh="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/html" to your <jsp:root> tag and install the library.
    then in place of the above code use:
    <f:facet name="metaContainer">
      <trh:script id="script1" source="/js/myJsFile.js"/>
    </f:facet>Now after a page submit the JavaScript still functions.

  • How do you change the image size and resolution in photoshop everytime I change the width the height changes my measurements will not stay

    Can someone assist me with changing image size and resolution.  each time I change the width the height changes and vice/versa?

    There's a chain link between width and height. The point is to keep the aspect ratio the same, otherwise your picture would get stretched.
    You click on the chain-link to shut that off and you can adjust width and height separately.
    Also could you give us your version of Photoshop, what OS you are running it on (Windows 7 for example) and what exactly you want to do with your document?
    Resolution is the print term for how many pixels will be printed on an inch of paper. It doesn't apply if your image is intended for screen viewing.

  • How to increase the width of the Fluid Grid Layout from 1008px to 1080px?

    Good day all, I'm experiencing a slight problem with Fluid Grid Layout in Dreamweaver CS6. I want to increase it's width so that it could be one with my Photoshop CS6 design (which is 1080px), the problem is that I can't as I am limited to 1008px. How do I increase the width? I ultimately am re-coding my design as my client demanded a responsive design but I'm clueless in that avenue which is why I resorted to re-doing everything under the set & safe default (Fluid Grid Layout) that doesn't require me to udnderstand media queries at an expert level.

    While Fluid Grid Layout can save you some production time, you still need a good understanding of CSS Media Queries to use it.

    Instead of fixed-widths in pixels, FLG code is all % based.  It starts with the mobile layout and cascades to tablet, then desktop.  If you want to use fixed-widths in pixels, you must manually change the CSS code for all three devices.

  • How to change the width of the EditForm.aspx and NewForm.aspx for both new and edited list entries?

    How to change the form widths for the EditForm.aspx and NewForm.aspx files that display both new and edited list entries?

    Hi  ,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to modify the width of the New Form and Edit Form of a list in SharePoint 2010 .
    1.Go to your SharePoint site -> your list.
    2.In top ribbon click  List tab(List Tools).
    3.Towards right you will see option as Form Web Parts, click on it, the three forms will be listed there [New Form, Display Form, Edit Form].
    4.Select the one on which you want to increase the width/height.
    5.It will open in edit mode, click on Add a Web Part.
    6. Click on Forms [Categories] => HTML Form Web Part.
    7.After adding the HTML Form Web Part, click on Edit WebPart.
    8.Click on Source Editor, Remove all code from it and put an empty HTML table with width and height as per your requirement ex. to increase width
    <TABLE WIDTH="800px">
    <TR><TD></TD></TR>
    </TABLE>
    9.Save the form and check out your respective modal by clicking on the same in your list view.

  • How to change the width of a switch control?

    If I set long on&off texts, they can't be fully displayed. How to change the width of this sap.m.switch control?
    P.S., "width" attribute doesn't work here.

    Hi Jocy,
    A switch is just a simple boolean control : true/false, yes/no, on/off. Other possibilities are not possible.
    If you to need to choose between, say, black/white, then a switch is *not* a good choice; nothing stops you from adding yellow/red/blue to the mix as well.
    If you *do* have a strict boolean choice (again, only rue/false, yes/no, on/off) then I would suggest adding a descriptive label with the simple, short switch control.
    Otherwise, I would strongly advice using a different type of control (RadioButtonGroup, DropdownBox)

  • How do I save the width and height of a photo for repeated use?

    How do I save the width and height of a picture for repeated use, rather than having to enter it each time in the 'new file' box?
    Thanks,  Ed Jackson.

    It could be that I'm older and have forgotten. I'm now 73 and will admit I have forgotten many things over the years. I have been using Photoshop since Photoshop version 3.  And can not really recall which features or changes were made in ever version of Photoshop I have installed.  Adobe has added many features over the years. The number of bugs introduce has also greatly increased after CS3.  "New Doc Sizes.psp"  in your user id preferences is edited using the two buttons in the new document dialog.
    As for guide lines in new documents Photoshop CS6 or CC seem to add some for video file presets with guide lines.  I do not know how to edit or add guide line to new doc presets. Guide line actions are easy to create. I have also seem some guideline in new documents when I did not expect any perhaps a new bug. Photoshop like most software has bugs. If you do not see Adobe new presets perhaps you copied an old  "New Doc Sizes.psp"  over Adobe's newer default file or Adobe migrared you presets and wand wiped their presets out. There are bugs. Close Photoshop down and rename your current  "New Doc Sizes.psp"  in you user id Photoshop cc preferences folder and start Photoshop it will add a dedault  "New Doc Sizes.psp"  file see if you see Adobe new presets in the new doc pull down when you select video and film...

  • Why can't I change the width of my accordion panel?

    I'm trying to set the width of this accordion panel by dragging the middle handle to the left so that it lines up with the page guide, making it 920px instead of 925px. Everytime I do this, it springs back to the right again, to 925px. I've tried setting the actual dimensions in pixels from 925 to 920, but it won't change. Why is this?

  • Adding a Button to the Sales Order screen

    Good Day
    Experts:
    I have added a button to the SalesOrder screen with help from a previous post here on the forum.  The button was lined up with the others that were already exisitng on the screen.  Recently, I have encountered a problem with it.  When the SalesOrder screen is run on a different machine,  the button is almost not visible.  It appears there is some kind of issue with the screen resolution just for this button.
    Do I have to do something special with this button when it is shown on the screen to get it to remain in line with the existing buttons?

    Hi Ed
    Are you setting the button in relation to the surrounding existing objects?  Like for instance ...

  • Finding the width of a JPEG loaded into a movie clip

    I will be loading a page of bio information. Next to the
    person's photo (photos will vary in width) I want to put a column
    of buttons about 20 pixels to the right of the photo. So after I
    load the photo into an empty movie clip, I'm trying to get the
    width of the photo in order to figure out the x position of the
    buttons next to it. Here is what I have:
    myImage = "images/" + _level0.images[link];
    loadMovie(myImage,image_mc);
    // JPEG loads okay into image_mc //
    trace("image_mc._x = " + image_mc._x);
    // I get "Image_mc._x = 393" as expected //
    trace("myImage._width = " + myImage._width);
    // I get "image_mc._width = undefined" //
    trace("image_mc._width = " + image_mc._width);
    // I get "image_mc._width = 0" //
    How do I find the width of the loaded JPEG?

    you are probably trying to get the width before the image has
    loaded completely.. use the MovieClipLoader class to load the image
    into the empty movie clip, then use the onLoadInit event to get the
    movie clips's width(which is the images width);
    var mcLoader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    var myListener:Object = new Object();
    myListener.onLoadInit = function(target:MovieClip):Void{
    trace(image_mc._width);
    mcLoader.addListener(myListener);
    mcLoader.loadClip(myImage, image_mc);
