Generate ORM CFC menu choice missing

As described in the video, this will generate a bunch of code for me. However, it doesn't appear in my installation of CF9 where it is supposed to be.
Has this menu item been moved? Where can I get it?

You have to install the extension in Coldfusion Builder. Here are the steps to install a Coldfusion Builder Extension.
Install extensions
1 In ColdFusion Builder, select Window > Preferences.
2 In the tree-view, select ColdFusion > Extensions.
3 Select the Archive file to install.
Note: If the extension that you are installing is shipped with ColdFusion Builder, the Archive file is available in the Extensions directory within the ColdFusion Builder installation.
4 Click Install.
5 The Extension Install wizard guides you through the installation.
6 Select the Server. If no server is configured, click Add Server to add a new server.
7 Enter the path to the ColdFusion web root (if the path is not automatically populated when selecting the server). For example, C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot\
8 Select a folder within the web root to install the extension. The archive file is extracted to the install location.
9 Click Install.
10 The name of the installed extension appears under Installed Extensions.
To view details about the installed extension, select the extension and click Show Details. If you have installed the same extension on more than one server, you can make one of the servers active. To make a server active, select the server from the Active Server drop-down list.
Import extensions
You can import extensions from an existing directory into the ColdFusion Builder IDE. It is useful to import extensions when you use existing extensions to develop new extensions.
1 In ColdFusion Builder, select Window > Preferences.
2 In the tree-view, select ColdFusion > Extensions, and click Import.
3 Select the ColdFusion Builder extension to import.
Reload extensions
If you change the configuration file after installing an extension, you must reload the extension to reflect these changes. To reload an extension, do the following:
1 In ColdFusion Builder, select Window > Preferences.
2 In the Preferences dialog box, you see a tree-view structure on the left side.
3 In the tree-view structure, select ColdFusion > Extensions, and click Reload Extensions.
Then open the RDS Dataview, navigate to the database table, right-click on it and there you are. If it doesn't work the first time around, restart Coldfusion Builder.and try again.

I'm trying to get Coldfusion Builder's ORM CFC Generator to build my cfcs but when I click the Generate button after setting my table relationships I get the following error:
Error : Event handler exception.. coldfusion.runtime.CfJspPage$ParameterNotFoundException: The required parameter SESSION.ORMTABLES was not provided.
I have an Application.cfc with sessionManagement=true, name is set, ormenabled is true and ormsettings specs a database.
What am I missing?

Cant upload extentions - ORM CFC Generator

Hi there
Having problems trying to install the ORM CFC Generator and wondered if anyone can assist..
In CF Builder I am clicking windows in the navigation bar, then preferences, then coldfusion, then extenstions, as shown in this demo http://blogs.adobe.com/cfbuilder/attachments/CFCGenerator4.htm
However, instead of getting the extensions tab, with all the options, all i can see is a checkbox with "user Mozilla browser for extensions"..

We have added a new view for working with Extensions. You can open it by Window->Show View ->Other ->ColdFusion->Extensions.
There is a plus button available in the Extensions view which you can use to install Extensions.

Coldfusion builder ORM CFC Generator error

I have been trying to cretae cfc code for flash builder in coldfusion builder, i have install the adobe ORM CFC Generator in preferences and have it set up on local host, the local host is created on a user directory, cold fusion server and builder all work well and i can also read databse tables from an external mysql server.
However when i to use the RDS Dataview and when I right click and table to create an ORM CFC .. it asks me for the CFC location .. I choose a folder that's in my project and a new window comes up with an error the requested url/adobe CFC Generator/"/handlers/ormCFCGenerator.cfm was not found on this server.

Create ORM CFC Ajax does not load

I am trying to create ORM CFC with the Adobe CFC Generator. After I select the location for the files it brings up a large window that has in the top left "Create ORM CFC" and a "Close" button at the bottom. The Ajax content in the body is missing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the component with no luck. The Create CFC works fine.
Anyone have any idea why the Ajax portion won't load?

it again after loading beta 3. After selecting the location I have
the Adobe CFC Generator pop up. The title says Create ORM CFC. The
body is completely blank. Bottom left I have Close button. It looks
like the Ajax portion is not loading. The regular create CFC works fine.

Window menu is missing in DW CS5 Mac

I need to open the behaviors panel and I can't get to it. My window menu is missing. I have no idea how long it has been missing - I never open new panels. But, now I need it! Help! Here is a screenshot, it should be bestween Site and Help. How can it just disappear??? I have nothing in my prefs that would cause it, I've tried setting the interface with all the choices, nothing. I really need to access the behaviors.

It may not. I wish I still had my MacBook. It makes it difficult troubleshooting from a PC.
Same here. I'm always wary of offering definitive advice to Mac users until I double check my proposed advice online first.

ORM CFC Wizard shows up blank

I'm trying out the ORM CFC Wizard from a table in my RDS Dataview. When I do this I get the option to select where I want the CFC created and the checkbox to create the CFC in script.
Once I click OK, the next screen is blank.
I've searched through the forums and found some suggestions of turning off debugging and renaming all references to "Framework" to "framework".
I've made sure debugging is turned off and went through and made sure all references to "Framework" are all lowercase with no luck.
Has anyone been able to fix this issue with success?
I'm running CF 9 on JBOSS 5.2 on OS X 10.6.3 if that helps any. RDS works fine as I can see my datasources.
One thing I noticed, if I refresh the ORM Wizard screen it does generate a premature end of file error on the XML. But this error doesn't happen on the first try.

How do I get my .csf file setting to show up in the Convert to Profile or Proof as menu choices?

I received specific menu choices for Color Settings from a commercial printer I use. I went to Edit<Color Settings and saved them as a .csf file in User/Library/Applications Support/Adobe/Color/Settings. I named the .csf file after the printer. When I go back into Edit<Color Settings and open the Settings menu I am able to choose the settings I saved from the list of settings. Now I open an image in PhotoShop and go to Edit<Convert to Profile. In the dialog box I open the Profile menu, but the settings I saved in Edit<Color Setting are not one of the Profile choices. Am I confusing Setting and Profiles? How do I Convert an image file to the setting given me by the printer? I also wanted to proof as per the printer's settings. When I go to View<Proof setup<Custom I can choose Working CMYK Web Coated SWOP 2006 Grade 3 Paper, which is generally the profile this printer is using. But I can't choice my specific color settings saved under the printer's that I previously saved in Edit<Color Settings. In the Proof Setup dialog box when I press the load button I can navigate to the Settings folder where my .csf file is saved, but it is greyed-out so I can't choose it. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Please advise/help. Thank you.

Yes. A Color Settings File (CSF) will contain values for all the controls in the Color Settings dialog. One of these controls specifies the profile to be used for the CMYK Working Space. That profile will be used by default when you create a new CMYK document or convert an RGB (or some other colour space) document to CMYK.
The profile, not the CSF, will be at the top of the list of CMYK options in the Convert to Profile dialog, as "Working CMYK - <name of your CMYK profile>". However, you may want to skip that dialog and instead do Image > Mode > CMYK, which will simply raise a prompt asking you whether to proceed with the conversion to your CMYK Working Space profile.
In View > Proof Setup menu, item "Working CMYK" also will use the profile that's specified in Color Settings, then "Custom..." in the same menu will give access to options to simulate paper and black ink.

Greyed out Menu Choices

I'm using Sountrack 1.5.
The menu choices: Search, Favorites, Bin, Effects (under the Windows menu) are all greyed out.
I have on my hard drive all the support files. (in the Library folder, Audio, etc)
I have no idea why these are grey. I can't start my project. I tried the manual but have no idea what to search for. As far as I know everything is set correctly.
How can I get these choices to activate to be able to access the support files, etc.

Do you have to make that selection for you to continue in the upload? Have you remember to complete all the fields besides the one asking about Public, Unlisted, and Private?
Is this a "it worked before but not now" or "it never worked before" type matter.
What are the properties of your source media, what have you selected as the project preset, and what specific YouTube export setting are you designating for your upload? What is the file size and duration according to the YouTube export dialog?
Can you export that Timeline to a file saved to the computer hard drive and then upload the file from the hard drive save location to YouTube at the YouTube web site?
We will be watching for your follow up to decide what next.

The "Adobe PDF" menu choice does not appear on Excel Menu

I've installed Acrobat 9.1.2 and the "Adobe PDF" menu choice does not appear on the Excel 2000 Menu. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Microsoft Office option in PDF Maker with no change. It does appear on the Word 2000 Menu. Adobe 8.1.3 shows on all apps of Microsoft 2000 (on different computers.)

According to Version Compatibility of Acrobat PDFMakers Office 2000 is not suupported by Acrobat 9.

To extract pages, you need to use Acrobat (not Adobe Reader). As I can attest (because I do have both Reader and Acrobat installed on the same computer), it is quite easy to open files in Reader when you mean to open then in Acrobat. So, please make sure you have the right app open. (I pull this one all the time!)
Now, if the Tools menu is missing from Acrobat, choose View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Show Toolbars to make them reappear.

Can't set preferences, and other greyed menu choices

Cannot set preferences for iDVD 06, and most menu choices are greyed.
[Note: this is NOT the case with all other iLife 06 applications where all menu selections are active.]
Looking through this forum I tried deleting the files in the library, as seems to be a frequent solution to everythng. This did NOT work in my case.
This is the only program in iLife06 which has this problem. All the others have active menu selection. I can't even get "About iDVD" to work!

I would start by forcing AppleWorks to create new preference files.
Quit AppleWorks and go to the Finder.
In a finder window, go:
yourname > Library > Preferences
Locate and select the folder AppleWorks and the file com.apple.appleworks.plist
Drag both to the Desktop or to the Trash (but don't empty the Trash).
Relaunch AppleWorks to check for any change.

NOTE: This will return all preferences to their default settings. AppleWorks will construct new copies of the plist, the folder, and the files in the folder as it needs them. If you have made changes to the Button Bar, and have had no issues related to the Button Bar, you can restore those changes (probably without issues arising) by dragging the Button Bar file from the folder you moved into the new one in Preferences when it is created.

While your issue does not appear to be caused by the Recent Items bug referenced in Michael's post (after "Also perhaps..", there's no danger in clearing your Recent Items folder as discussed in the linked User Tip. This is a 'regular maintenance' procedure for me.

Enterprise Manager menu is missing in the WAR deployment

I installing CFMX8 and a pair of test servers. I did a
multiserver CFMX8 install because I was having a heck of a time
getting the WAR deployment version install (on Windows 2003 with
JRun4).
When I got CFMX8 finally installed via a WAR deployment, I
noticed in the CF Admin left hand menu bar that the sub menu
"Enterprise Manager" was missing.
Can someone tell me what the differences are between the two
deployments, why this menu is missing.
Using the Multiserver installation is not a option because
because of the way we are setting up our environment.

The multi-server installation creates a single instance of
coldfusion server that is the enterprise manager. It is not meant
to be used as a server you deploy applications on. Rather it is
meant to allow you to create and manage other server instances and
clusters. Therefore, you see the enterprise manager menu in its
cfadministrator. That is its expected main purpose.
The war file deployment contains a single instance of a
coldfusion server. There is no need for it to have an enterprise
manager. The standard administrator allows you to manage all the
options in a single CF8 instance.
For jrun deployments you should create an ear file deployment
from the cf8 installer. Then follow the instructions in the j2ee
readme text file that is created in the same directory as the ear
file.

Generate sample CFC Service for Oracle 11g problem

No there is no database objects in oracle starts with numbers , but most of thim having the ($) charactier in there names , i am not getting the correct datatypes , the num
bers datatype in oracle is presenting with Object datatype in flex .
i mean if you have a field with Number(6.2) in oracle the flash builder use Object datatype
and i am using the latest nightbuild of flash builder do i have to download something else ?

There are no FF menu choices - uninstalled & reinstalled - no change

I see no menu choices -not even the Firefox bar previously on the screen. The add on for appointments
pops up, but I have no ability to examine details or add entries. Did all this occur when I upgraded to latest version? I deleted and reinstalled the program, with the same results. I successfully use the
Mozilla mail program.
I am on Windows V7 home edition.

Firefox might be stuck in full screen mode with menus and toolbars hidden. To switch between full screen and normal views, you can use the F11 key.
In normal view, usually you can call up the classic menu bar by tapping the Alt key.
If you have the tab bar displayed, you usually can right-click a blank area (or right-click the "+" button) and display hidden toolbars by choosing them from the right-click context menu.
