Generating a blank document with custom code

Is there a way I can generate a blank document with custom code in it? I have been looking at several methods of doing this but so far I have been unsuccessful. So any assistance here would be appreciated. This is for an extension I am currently working on.

It seems that either there is no default printer setup or you have too many printers or no printer setup at all. Try running the following code. It should print the list of available print services.

Problem with custom code in infoset query

Hi,
I have created a infoset. In the infoset i added a few additional fields and wrote code in the field code for those fields. I saved and generated the infoset. But in the output of the query, i am getting blank values for those additional fields. When i checked the generated program (SE38), the code is not present in the program.
If anyone has encountered a similar problem and resolved it, please let me know where i am going wrong.

After adding the code for additional fields in Infoset, please syntax check and then activate the Infoset. Then the program will be regenerated with your custom code.

Blank page with pasted code

Using Dreamweaver 4. I have problems when I try to paste code
that is generated by Google AdSense in to our web site index page
code. The published viewed page is completely blank and removing
the code brings the page back. I had a similar problem with code
from Stat Counter and removing the stat code brought the page back.
If I paste the AdSense code in the wrong place it will
publishe the code on the published page, which also happens with
Paypal code as well. Pasting in the correct location always fixes
the Paypal button issue, but with AdSense I can not get it to work
and I have tried multiple places. Google says it is due to the
"what you see is what you get " Dreamweaver software and it is
altering the code, but it appears to be identical as the code that
is generated by Google.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Excise duty document with error code-15- table /BEV2/EDMSE after posting.

We are facing the problem in stock transport from plant to plant regarding Excise duty document which can be seen in table /BEV2/EDMSE after posting.
Steps involved in process
1) Creation of PO(STO) ME21N-
2) Creation of outbound delivery and post goods issue- VL10B
3) Posting of GRN goods receipt - MIGO
4) Creatin of excise invoice path is - User menu---> Logistics --->Materials Management --->Excise Duty --->Tools ---> Limted document selection (/BEV2/EDT7)
We are facing problem in creation of excise document , Error is coming while posting and document not getting posted.
Error is -
1 document items processed: 1 tax-relevant, 1 of them rejected
Message no. /BEV2/EDMESS1017
Diagnosis
1 material documents were processed.
1 of them were identified as being tax-relevant. They were updated. This involves 1 items that were rejected.
Procedure
Check and edit the rejected document items by means of the function Rejected documents.
If we check the Rejected documents you will find the error as -
Error 15 GI posting not yet processed/has been rejected
If we check the sucessful posted document with problem document in table /BEV2/EDMSE you will find the stock ledger number field is blank, may be because of this the tax value is not getting calculated.
Please guide to solve the problem.

Opening documents with custom layer structure, especially default layer unlocked...

Hi, is it possible to open documents such as jpg screenshots which are apparently a locked layer by default, as instead an unlocked layer?
Would it even be possible/easy to have a method of opening such documents with the following layers:
1 original image (unlocked)
2 blank transparent layer
3 white locked background
4 group folder called 'archive' with a copy of the original image, with the group set to invisible
Could a droplet be made to open documents with such a "precreated" layer set-up?
For example, I would like to take a screenshot or scan, drag it onto a droplet, and have it open with the layer structure outlined above.

Shesh whatever you call it the image the background the initial layer "the so called layer" I would just like to change its default opening to UNLOCKED so at minimum, as I have said four times now, it can be placed in a folder called "Archive" without having to f'ing unlock it...scripting additional opening actions in addition to that at this point must be beyond your imagination

Working on the background layer is not my primary concern, organizing layers automatically at the start of a workflow is...but nevertheless...erasing part of the background in order to reveal imported images or drawings created beneath it on new layers requires the background be unlocked (so erased sections are transparent rather than black), changing layer order requires unlocking, moving the background on a resized canvas requires unlocking....and of course placing it within a folder requires unlocking -- what the hell is the advantage of it being default locked?? why isn't this optional?
I can't imagine people working on complex images with multiple folders and forty plus layers in various folders and such -- nevertheless consistently want to leave the background layer just sitting there hanging out in its default locked state. I'm ALWAYS unlocking the damn layer...if only, for the FIFTH TIME, for organizational purposes (to change its layer order and place it within a folder).

I want to calculate the value of tb_Open and tb_Close. I try to use custom code for calculate them. tb_close is correct but tb_Open is not correct that show value = 0 .
This is example report:
* I have 2 Dataset , Dataset1 is all data for show in my report. Dataset2 is only first Open for first month
* First value of Open is item field in Dataset2 and this value only for first month (january). But for other month Open value get from Close in previous month.
Detail for Red number:
1. tb_Open -> tb_Close in previous month but first month from item field in Dataset2

Enhance ZMMJ or Normal Change Document with Custom User

Hi there,
I am wondering if it is possible to add a specific field into a change document.
We have a requirement whereby 2 different testers need to be added to a change. The first tester will perform testing of Development in DEV (as per our custom workflow) and then the second tester will perform the normal testing in QA.
Now these two testers might not necessarily be the same person or have the same authorization.
So, my question is that when you are assigning team members to the change (Developer, Tester, Change Manager, IT Operator), is there an option to add another user field here, such as Dev Tester?

To pick up WMI "version" info to deal with Lenovo computer models I found this code and integrated it by adding these lines to ZTIGather.wsf:

Editing post...
So at first I was just using the downloaded copy from the site where I got the code and realized that the ZTIGather.wsf versions were different.
Just editing the correct version of the file gets passed the above, but then it hangs on "Getting local computer information: Asset Information" I know its choking on the code somehow as the WMI function referenced in my original message comes right after
getting the asset info.

Enhancing evaluation path with custom code

Hi,
like described in another discussion I have the following task to solve:
I was setting up an org structure with companyname (O)- spain (O) - valencia (O) - engineer (S)-James(P), created a work center and assigned the organisational element on the level of valencia to it in hrms.
I found the evaluation path P-S-O fits for my needs to see that (starting with) james is an engineer in valencia and I will try to get also the work center in the way it is described here: Evaluation path with P-S-O + work center
Evaluation pathes seem to be pretty cool to use and efficient. I am wondering now how far the evaluation pathes can be extended. In the described process there are also WBS elements involved. They are linked to the work center with the help of the partner schema in the wbs element. The quesion is if it is possible to make a own evaluation path element (or to choose the wbs datatype) and have a user exit to get the wbs elements that are connected as partners to the work center also in the path? How can I find out how to solve this and if there are any user exits (or other mechanism) that give me the flexibility to take the evaluation path beyond the standards I can do without development.

I would like to have all necessary values in one evaluation report for development. In this way I don't need to go over several tables in the abap development ... instead I am able to use the evaluation path in several ways. One of these things is to include the WBS elements.

Custom code dll as a data source for an SSRS report

I'm trying to create a report which relies on using some custom code written in VB.net. I am using the custom code to access the Server Management Objects SMO API in MSSQL 2012. I am able to supply an MSSQL object name (a database table
for example)and then return a list of dependant objects using the dependency walker class (stored procedures, triggers, UDF's, other tables etc.) which rely on the parent object if you will. I am able load the results into a dataset in the custom code. My
question is how can I get that dataset to be consumed as a data source and appear in my report. I've read many articles on how to use scripts to supply values for various report property settings. I just haven't seen an example of using a dll
to supply a dataset. I am assuming it is possible. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Cheers

According to your description, you want to create an SSRS report with custom code as data source, right?
To use custom code in Reporting Services, we need to add a reference to your custom assembly, create a new CodeGroup for your custom assembly, and then grant full trust permissions. For detail information, please refer to the following steps:
Open the report that will reference the custom assembly.
On the Report menu, click Report Properties.
In the Report Properties dialog box, click the References tab.
Under References, click the ellipsis (...) button that is next to the Assembly name column header.
In the Add References dialog box, click Browse.
Locate and then click the custom assembly. Click Open.
In the Add References dialog box, click OK.
In the Report Properties dialog box, click OK.
If the custom assembly requires more permissions than the default Execution level permissions, we need to create a new CodeGroup for your custom assembly, and then grant full trust permissions.

How do I generate a Word document and a PDF from Help files?

I am new to RoboHelp HTML, and am using version 8. I updated some Help files, and now I want to generate output. Here are my questions/ or the process I used:
To compile the help, I clicked Generate Primary Layout. Is this correct? I noticed that the date stamp on the xpj file has not changed. The date is still from many months ago. (Why is that? Should it show a recent update date?) However, the files that I updated do reflect the dates when I made the updates. These include art files, an hhp, and htm, js, ldb, pss, cpd files.
To generate a pdf, I clicked Generate PDF. I was not able to generate the PDF at first, but then, I enabled macros in Word 2007 (Trust Center Settings > Enable all macros...and clicked the checkbox, Trust access to the VBA project object model), and clicked Generate PDF. At the end of the generation, I got this error in Word: Microsoft Office Word has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The info you were working on might be lost. Word can try to recover it for you. I closed the dialog and Word generated several blank documents. Microsoft Office Diagnostics was run and found one problem and corrected it. Despite the error message, a pdf was generated. (If you could give me any insight on why I got the error messages, that could be helpful to know).

Welcome to our community
Note that RoboHelp is capable of creating a variety of layouts. WebHelp, FlashHelp, AIR Help, Microsoft HTML Help, JavaHelp, Oracle Help, ePub and more.
Any of these layouts may be nominated as the Primary layout. So when you generate the Primary layout, you get whatever has been configured as the Primary layout.
Only certain actions will result in a change to the .XPJ file. The actions are indicative of major changes to the project. So I wouldn't fret the fact that the date time stamp wasn't updated.
Indeed the Printed Documentation Single Source Layout recipe is what you use to create PDF. Generally what happens is that RoboHelp creates a Microsoft Word document as an intermediate file type, then creates the PDF from that. As you might imagine, there are a host of things that can go wrong during the process. I might suggest that you first get a Word document to generate cleanly. Then once you do that, focus on PDF. I know that I typically gen a Word document and stop there. I just open Word and use Word to create the PDF.
If you look at the properties for the Printed Documentation Single Source Layout recipe (View > Pods > Single Source Layouts then right-click the Printed Documentation layout and choose Properties) you will see that PDF, Word or both are options at the top of the dialog.
Hopefully that gives you a nudge in the right direction.

Getting error while generating Business Blueprint Document for Project

Hello Experts,
I hv created a project in Solution manager 3.2 through solar_project_admin . Now iam in the phase of defining its Business Blueprint . I hv completed the steps, at the end when iam generating Business Blueprint document ,following error is being displayed:
Blueprint document cannot be created. Check the selection
Message no. SOLAR110
Diagnosis
A Business Blueprint document created for the selected selection options would contain no structure elements. It would be empty, so it is not created.
Procedure
Choose less restrictive selection options, especially the option
"Print Structure Elements: Complete Selection" in the "Options" tab.
I hv checked this error and the option displayed above in the error message but no such option is being displayed anywhere,can anyone plz help me out with how to resolve this problem?
Requested to revert at earliest as iam stuck with this since many days,My email id is [email protected] .

Invoke a business service base in a WSDL with customer WS-Security Policy

Customer write a Web service (Refer to the attachment file “HTTPS_PartyServicePortType.WSDL”)which declare a WS-Security Policy and apply this it to WS binding ,How can I generate a business service base in this WSDL and invoke it successfully?
When create a business service in OSB, we get a error with below messages
[[OSB Kernel:398133]The service is based on WSDL with Web Services Security Policies that are not natively supported by Oracle Service Bus. Please select OWSM Policies - From OWSM Policy Store option and attach equivalent OWSM security policy. For the Business Service, either you can add the necessary client policies manually by clicking Add button or you can let Oracle Service Bus automatically pick and add compatible client policies by clicking Add Compatible button.
After enhanced the OSB domain with OWSM extension, we found the OOTB OWSM defined cannot support the HttpsToken and OSB cannot support below WS-Policy defined in OWSM, refer to http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e15866/owsm.htm#OSBDV1681

If you are going to publish the policy file in the Web Service archive, the policy XML file must be located in either the META-INF/policies or WEB-INF/policies directory of the EJB JAR file (for EJB implemented Web Services) or WAR file (for Java class implemented Web Services), respectively.
Can you make sure the policy file is in there?
