how can i generate it and change initial key for my java card?

how can i calculate it?ffee..00 is the plain text key. Sensitive data encryption is required for the 3 CM keys in the PUT KEY command. I first set off-card the keys I want to be included in the PUT KEY command, and JCOP Tools encrypts it with the DEK key of the current secure channel session. On-card the first the C_MAC is validated, then the keys are decrypted and compared to the key check value.

Generate Sequential values for a column

Hi,
I had a column in named 'ID' in the block of my form. I want to generate sequential values for the column without using sequence. Suppose if the table does not have any data it has display the starting value what i am providing.(ex. 101).If the data is there in the table If i am executing the query in the last null record it has to show the maxvalue+1 for that column. where can I write the code to get this logic? How to write the code? Can any body please solve my problem?

Why don't you want to use a sequence? Do the ORDID values have to be sequential without any gaps in between?
If so, this requirement is quite hard to achieve in multi-user environment.
Some approaches:
Select the next available value from the database when creating a new record , e.g. in the WHEN-CREATE-RECORD-Trigger:

END;Pros: The user can see the new value when he starts entering the data.
Contras: When another user uses the same form to create a new record between the point of time user 1 starts entering the record and the point of time he saves, the same number will be taken again which will fail on insert for the second user (i assume there is a Unique Key on ORDID).
Result: This approach is not suitable in a multi-user environment.
Second approach:
Use the same logic as in approach 1, but select the next available number in the PRE-INSERT-trigger of the block:
Pros: The problem of approach 1 with two users getting the same number gets much more unlikely, for in general the COMMIT goes quite short after the PRE-INSERT has fired, so there will only be problems if both users save at the same moment.
Contras: Problem with duplicate numbers can still occur iunder special circumstances. The number is not shown until the Insert is issued against the database.
Result: This approach is possible, but you have to decide if the restrictions are bearable for your situation.
Further approaches:
Create a "Number table" either with just one record and one column which contains the next suitable number (lets say TAB_ORDID with column NEXT_ORDID) or with a number of records containing the next suitable numbers.
Then with the usage of SELECT FOR UPDATE you can lock a record, take the number from it and either update the row to the next value (one row apporach)or delete the row retrieved (multi row approach). Both cases require some more complex logic for retrieving the next number and can cause some trouble in multi-user-environments (ending up in all users who want to create records waiting for the one user who started and did not save correctly) if the locks are not handled correctly.

F4 help values for currency key field in table

Hi all,
I have added currency and currency key fields in my Z table. For the curreny key field, i have assigned the standard data element WAERS. I have implemented Table Maintenance Generator for my table. But the F4 help values for the currency key field is not appearing when i tried to maintain table entry.
Should i need to check the Foreign key check box for the field attribute? But this check box is in disable field in screen layout.
Could someone tell me how to solve this issue?

Make the check table of the currency field of your Ztable as TCURC,which is the master table of Currency.Inside the domain of the field you write the TCURC as a value table.and make foriegn key relationship with the TCURC table.

Planning book values for certain key figures show doubled up numbers

currently on SCM 7.0, we are facing a strange intermittent issue of doubled up values in planning book for certain key figures when compared to the underlying Infocube.
This happens when the Input process step happens, some times when the process step fails in chain and is run again.
After its run then we load data to the planning book , then when the key figures show up for the current week bucket they show Doubled up values
We tried to run a consistency check /SAPAPO/OM17 (DP time series option) but no result.
Can anyone mention what could be the reason ?

Please check the data in the cube for the codes . There could be double request for the same keyfigure. When you copy from cube whatever value avilable in the cube gets into Planning book.
Transaction : LISTCUBE
Solution : Delete the old request and check the value agina in cube. Execute the TSCUBE.

Need to concatonate multiple values for same key columns into one string

Hi...I'm attempting to use PL/SQL to read through a table containing more than one column value for a set of keys, and concatonate those values together into one string. For example, in the STUDENT table, for a STUDENT_ID there are multiple MAJORS_ACCOMPLISHED such as History, Biology and Mathematics. Each of the majors is stored in a different row with the same STUDENT_ID due to different faculty DEPARTMENT values.
I want to read through the table and write out a single row for the STUDENT_ID and
concatonate the values for MAJORS_ACCOMPLISHED. The next row should be another STUDENT_ID and the MAJORS ACCOMPLISHED for that student..etc.
I've hit a wall trying to use cursors and WHILE loops to get the results I want. I'm hoping someone may have run across this before and have a suggestion. Tks!!

Multiple values for one key in hashtable k, v

So, I know that java.util.hashtable (as of Java 1.5) uses separate chaining to handle collisions. What I want to know is how to get a certain value somewhere in that bucket if they all share a common key? Javadoc says I have to search it sequentially but doesn't say how.

OK, there's a lot of confusion on here for such a short thread :-)
Firstly, HashMaps pick which "bucket" to store your object in based on the hash value of your object (see Object.hashCode()). However, the actual object equality test (applied to the keys during a search) is based on Object.equals(). Therefore which bucket your object is in is irrelevant - the bucketting concept is just used as a way of quickly locating a subset of all the keys in the map which might match your search value. There could very well be just a single bucket in a map and it wouldn't change its logical behaviour.
This statement: "any Map including Hashtable, can only have a single (key,value) pair" is poorly worded. What it should say is that for any given key, a map can only hold a single value.
Really, you don't need to think about the internal structure of maps (i.e. buckets, etc.).
If you want to store multiple values for any given key, then make your value a list (java.util.List) and store your multiple real values inside that list.

How to get the default value for Distribution key in KP06

when i enter into the Tcode: KP06, the Default value of Distribution key is 2 but i want to be 1.

Hi Manohar,
You have to give Distribution Key "1" in the Plannner Profile as well as if you take a column for Distribution Key seperately in your Planning Layout for Cost Element Planning, in the Excel file, you can give Distribution Key as "1" in the respective column. When you upload the data through Excel, the system will take the DKey as "1" only.

The max value for a key in an ODS

hi,
i want to link 2 ODS (Historic PRICE and PRICE)
the key fields in Historic price ODS are : "material", "vendor" , and a field name "AVN"
I want to create a start routine in order to find the data with the maximum value for the field "AVN" among data with the same key "material, vendor"
Once this value found, i want to send it in the ODS : "PRIX"
But how can i do it ?
should i sort the ODS table ? what is the Abap fonction ?

seems that you need an extraction via self defined function-module.
Within the FM, you can determine the max value like this:
DATA: itab_ods_hist type standard table of /BIC/A<ODS HISTORIC PRICE>00 with header line.
SELECT * FROM /BIC/A<ODS HISTORIC PRICE>00 INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE itab_ods_hist
SORT itab_ods_hist descending by material vendor AVN.
DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FORM itab_ods_hist COMPARING material vendor.
This will give you only the max values within the itab.
now hand this over.
Example for a function module for extraction can be found in the R/3 source system.

you can set the default value for property ( which you want to default selected when the form is first loaded) in reset method of the form.

Does GTC generate default value for Password attribute.??

I am using GTC as trusted source reconciliation.
My doubt is if I don’t map the password attribute does it generate default value to the password attribute in user form??
I have a random password generator in pre-insert, first i tried as below which didn't work later after updating it worked fine.

Generaterandampassword
SetPassword= Generaterandampassword
If i use adapter as above it not generating random password. i see that password as 'temp' to all the users.
I am thinking gtc generates a value to password filed even if we don't pass any value... am i right?? Please let me know..

Set default Value for a key figure

Hi Experts,
I need to enter a set o value for some char in a layout but for this set is not relevance a keyfigure. I know that there needs to be a keyfigure in the layout for the data to be saved to the transactional cube.
So is there a way to write a default value to the keyfigure without the user having to enter the keyfigure in the layout?

How to get Multiple Values for a key from a session object?

The problem I am facing is that if I do a session.getAttribute("cart"), I'll get a single value in return. What will that value be? Will it be "item", "submit" or "v"? And if I want all the values in v above, how can I get them?

None of the above.
HttpSession.getAttribute() will return what you put into it using HttpSession.setAttribute(). In your case, it'll return an Object which you need to cast to DummyCart. Then you can access the data in DummyCart using the API of the DummyCart class.

How do I autogen a value for primary key on inserts

I'm running 4.0. I am writing an app that maintains distributed database inventory information. All of my tables have surrogate numeric primary keys. I have created several report/form combinations. From the report, I can choose to create a new instance of an object; Server for instance. When I click the "Add Server >" button, the Detail page opens for me to create the new entry. On this page, I need to have the Server_ID autogenerated. I'm thinking something as simple as "Select (max(server_id)+1) from Server" should do. In fact, it looks like it is going to work because the field gets populated correctly. But, when I click the "Create" button on this page I get an error that says the Server_ID is null. Seems like the generated value isn't making it to the INSERT statement.
On the Page Definition, I have Server_ID set as Display Only and in the Source section for the attribute I have "Only when current value in session state is null" selected and "SQL Query (return single value)" selected with "Select (max(server_id)+1) from Server" in the "Source value or expresssion" field.

From your description it appears you want the new server ID to be assigned and show on the page prior to collecting the rest of the information, rather than assigning it upon saving the new row. What you're doing will get the next available ID, but what happens if two or more people are entering new servers at once? There's a good chance they'll all get the same next ID.
Tony's suggestion will ensure the uniqueness of the server ID because it'll get assigned upon saving the row, rather than on display of the page where a user could leave the screen sitting there while others "take" that next ID. You can return the value that the trigger assigns for display - if you're using an Automatic Row Processing process, see the Return Key into Item setting.
If you're going to stick with your approach and just need to know how to make sure that field is included in the INSERT, you need to create a computation on that item and move your "select max..." there, and then for the server ID item change the Source Used to "Always...", Source Type to Database Column, and specify the column name from the table in the Source Value. The reason is hasn't been working is that field isn't currently mapped to the table column.

3 Decimal place values for Amount Key Figure

Hi Experts,
I have created an ODS in BI 7.0. This has a amount key figure which is getting calculated by a routine. Now The value that is getting calculated is getting stored into the ODS with only two decimal places.
For example if the value that is gettig calculates is 0.187 by the code, the values that is getting stored is 0.19.
This is not related to Bex display. We need to store the values 0.187 in the system and not 0.19.
The Amount key figure that we are using is of unit 0DOC_CURRENCY . In Additional properties, 'key figure with maximum precision' check box is ticked is . We have not defined any decimal places for the BEX Display.
Kindly help us in this matter.

If you wish to change the decimal precision for your 0DOC_CURRENCY... you can use t.code CUNI to change the number of decimal places. But, then this would be global effect wherein whereever this infoobject is used it would be reflected with the changes you made in CUNI. Also check if you have authorization to change this.

How apex generate LOV values for Interactive report

Scott,
For interactive report, does APEX full table/index scan to generate the LOV drop down list every time user click the column header? If I set max row count to 100, does LOV values only derived from the first 100 rows that apex hits?
If I enter SQL query in "list of value definition", will that sql get executed every time users click the column header or the result is cached?
For standard and interactive report, does APEX parse (soft/hard) the sql statement again when user do pagination?
