Generate every hour event 2331 for each DP after Software update Deployment Package deletion

We have an organization build on SCCM 2012 R2 with 270 DPs configured with DP Pulls function. The centralized point contains DP sources available for all DP Pull.
We have some problems with Windows Update deployment package, and we decide to delete them. We first remove them from all DPs. After more than a month we delete the deployment package. From this day, we see that the SMS_Distribution_Manager service generate
every hour logs for contacting each of the 270 DPs to ask them for deleting the package.
Remark: At the time we run the delete, some of the DPs were not connected. After 3 weeks all of them were connected. A month later, the SMS_Distribution_Manager
generate always these events every hour.
Each DP responds with a 2331 event that seems OK. Every hour the system begin with two events (2301 and then 2300 for this package, after a 2331 for each
DP). All these events are also present in the application log of the Event Viewer. After the last DP connection that respond with 2331 event, there are no event that generalize a task for the package to definitively remove it from the database.
Could anyone help me to correct the system?

There are no error messages. There are only messages generated in Distribution_manager logs and Event Viewer, showing us server processing and network activity on package that was deleted over 40 days, and that happened every hours. The Microsoft support
give us directives to delete orphan records in 4 tables
pkgServers_L,pkgServers_G,PkgStatus_L,PkgStatus_G)
At this time the correction has positive effect.

Trace files generated for every session in 11g

I have two databases - both 11.1.0.7, both on RHEL5
Database A runs on Server A
Database B runs on Server B
Both installation of 11g and each database are new installations.
On Database A a trace file is being created for every session in ADR_HOME.../trace.
On Database B - this is not happening
The problem I have is Database A. As every session connection creates a trace file (or 2 - being *.trc and *trm), at the end of the day we have 1000's of unnecessry trace files.
A trace file is created for every user - SYS, SYSTEM, application users, etc... It's being created immediately - even if no SQL statements are run in the session.
I've compared the init.ora parameters running in each database - and can find no differences. btw - SQL_TRACE is set to FALSE.
Any ideas why a trace file is being generated for every session on Database A? And how to switch this off?

What type of content is in generated trace files? Is it SQL trace or something different?
Have you any AFTER LOGON trigger? It can be checked with:

I set up ADFS recently. I followed the guidance for setting up for Azure, with plans to use it for other purposes.
I am seeing error 684 every hour at about :52:36 minutes:seconds after the hour, so it's regular like a scheduled task. The error text is...
The AD FS Web Agent was unable to update trust information from the Federation Service. The Federation Service Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) server certificate could not be validated.

Notice how the URL has "localhost" as the host name. My ADFS server is named adfs.company.com and has a valid SSL certificate configured. Authentication works to Azure. Going to https at localhost will of course fail because the
SSL cert will never match.
What is trying to access this every hour and why is it looking at localhost instead of the adfs.company.com host name? I can't figure this out.

Federation Service communication fails when the Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) Web Agent cannot be updated.
Please try to check the federation server's SSL server authentication certificate.

Generate trace on a user processes on every login

Folks,
I need to enable trace every time XYZ connected to the DB,Can anyone help me on this.XYZ is a user.
I suppose there is some system profile which helps to perform the above mentioned. Also please let me know where the trace file will be generated by default.

It will happen whenever user session calls fnd_global.APPS_INITIALIZE function.
That happens only if an user use Apps interfaces (Forms, Self Service Framework, Concurrent Managers, Discoverer using Apps authorization etc.).
Or will it also generate trace if the user XYZ is using SQLPLUS at DB level??It will not. In order to generate Trace for all session create LOGIN Trigger and include trace switching code other there.

Snow leopard freezing every hour at the same time

Hi all,
I've been having freezing problems with my macbook pro. I'm running 10.6.4 and have noticed that every hour to the exact minute, my computer will be unresponsive for approximately 30 seconds to a minute, and then returns back to normal.
The time that it freezes will vary from day to day, ie some days it will freeze at 7 minutes past the hour all day, other days it will freeze at 19 minutes past the hour every hour.
This has only been happening for possibly the last month, and I have no idea what is the cause. I've used console to see if get any error messages, but nothing is coming up. I'm not using time machine. I've tried restoring disk permissions.
I'm not sure whether this is a macbook pro related thing or a snow leopard related problem so excuse me for posting this in both forums.
Please help!

Mail is delivered as soon as it arrives at gmail server instead of every hour as I requested

I have set my mail preferences to get mail every hour. But mail arrives when it arrives. It can be every few minutes. This has been going on for a while (Not helpful, I know, but bear with me.)
For the last few weeks I have been getting an exclamation mark next to one or the other of my gmail accounts with errors that range from 'non secure device' to ' too many connections'. Trawling through the gmail forum has led me to follow all of the steps they suggest but the 'too many connections' things won't go away.
One point they make is that if you are 'getting' mail more frequently than every 10/15 minutes this can cause the problem.
Now, if I could pinpoint the actual time when this phenomenon of mail appearing when it wants to began, we would have an idea of whether it was connected to the latest Yosemite update. Unfortunately, I can't.
But I have trawled all through the account settings on google and cannot find any place where I set when gmail sends my mail so I reluctantly conclude that Apple Mail is ignoring my setting of 'check once an hour' and is checking at some randomly selected period.
Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have any idea about how to fix it. I am fed up with going to gmail captcha and telling it again and again to accept this device; with signing in on gmail to the account in question; with this whole stupidity in general. Once I do all of the above, everything seems fine until the next mail arrives when the exclamation mark appears again and I have to go through the whole rigamarole again.

Quicktime launches every hour for no apparent reason. Spyware? Virus?

For the past few days Quicktime attempts to launch approximately every hour. The reason I say attempts, is because the missing plugin error/warning will be on screen whenever I come back to my desk and often first thing in the morning. I have no idea what file is trying to launch, seeing that nothing ever shows up because of the error.
Could this be virus trying to open **** or something? How can I use the Console to see what is trying to open?
I could post a log snippet if someone could tell me where to look.

I managed IT/technology for almost 50 years. Sometimes things happen that defy explanation, but we are happy at the result anyhow!
Glad everything is OK now. Sometimes I do suggest a restart as a "fix" for things that - on the surface - have nothing to do with a restart.

Create a new log file every hour

I have a program which receives measurement data and writes this data to TDMS file. However, I want to create a new TDMS file every hour. When I put a while loop in mu sub vi which creates the new file the program doesn't run. I have attached the sub vi. Can anyone help me out here?

One trick for doing this is to prepend the file name with YYJJJHH See example
Then just check if file exists (if not create and add headder) when you write to file.
This also generates the reports in "alphabetical" order so windows explorer presents them chronologically.

I am facing this error every hour. It does not happen randomly but it triggers every hour precisely.
I have half a dozen services connecting to the cache and all of them would get this error at the same time every hour.
The cache is working properly expect this "downtime" every hour.
Any idea?

You should add retry logic in case of retriable exceptions. If the retries fail as well you should reset the DataCacheFactory as suggested in this link.

Trace Event 1401 will create a trace file and dumps the information when ORA-01401 error occurs. This error occurs when "inserted value too large for column"
You will see the trace file getting populated only when you encounter ORA-01401 error.

I am getting similar kernel panics, usually once a day, on my 2006 Xserve running 10.6.8 server. I have 6 ECC enabled 2GB sticks installed, with DIMM slots 7 & 8 empty. All DIMMS show no ECC errors. The first for slots are filled with RAM from vendor A, with slots 5 & 6 filled with RAM from vendor B.

SMS 2008 Server time out same time every hour

Based on your description, I suggest that you should firstly check if there any program or feature (such as antivirus program, update, backup and so on) started
working at that time. Also, please monitor the Task Manager or Resource Monitor to check if any process was started at that time.
In addition, it seems to be a network issue. Please run a sniffer on the server. You can use Microsoft Network Monitor 3.4 to monitor and then check ARP messages
and so on.
