Get document closed event on any document, not only active one
Hy
I'm want to know if it's possibile to have a csxs event on any document taht the user closes. I'm now using documentAfterActivate to see when a user's activates a new document, by I want to be able to tell if the user has closed a document, even if it's not the active one in that moment.
this is my code
var csInterface = new CSInterface();

csInterface.addEventListener("documentAfterActivate", newDocumentOpened);
But I can't find any event that suites my needs.

Hi,
Looks like there are no AfterDocumentClose csxs event but you know that already. There are however regular AFTER_CLOSE event in InDesign Object model but it implies using a persistent engine. I have no idea how this would work combined to an extension.
Another way I used with flash extensions was using some kind of interval to regularly check things unreachable in the object model.

unfortunately no, a million people are attempting to update their phones right now, and thus activate them. Patience will have to suffice.
For the future, I would recommend not updating essential work devices on the launch day -

Whenever I try to activate my 4th generation iPod Touch bought today, via my home router (Asus) which has a good signal, I get the warning: "Your iPod Touch could not be activated because the activation server cannot be reached." Very frustrating. When I try to activate it via iTunes on my HP laptop, it won't do it either. Very frustrated and unimpressed.
You are running into the activation lock.

You have to either enter the Apple/iCloud ID and password in order to activate the iPod for use. Or you can try to dissassociate the iPod for that account by:

Activation issues are almost always the result of a device that has been hacked or jailbroken. If that is the case, no support can be provided here.
The other possible issue is a device running the iOS7 Beta. If that is the case, and you are a developer, sign into the developers forums for assistance. If that is the case and you are not a developer, try google. -
How to get the closing event (not closed) of Dialog control

I have one requirement, that I have to close the Dialog box in an animated way like on clicking of the Dialog close button the popup has to close from top to bottom in a slide effect.

When I tried closed method of Dialog, it is calling only after dialog box closed but, I need the closing event rather closed event.
I am putting a UI5 view in Dialog as I need some custom/dynamic content in the dialog.
Please suggest the solution for this.

I recently tried to upgrade the software on my Ipad to IOS 4.3 (in order to get Google Earth and now I get this message:" Your Ipad can not be activated because the activiation server is temporarily unavailable. If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. After you update to iOS 5.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Edit Appraisals: Notes only shows one row at a time
Under the Employee Review tab of MSS-->Edit Appraisals, when I click to create an appraisal, the appraisal form in our system has areas to add notes. However, in the portal, the area to add notes is only 1 row. It is scrollable, but you can only see one row of text at a time. How can I expand the notes area/editor to show multiple lines of text?
Turns out the configuration is on the R/3 side when setting up the Appraisal. There is an option for number of lines for notes.

Thanks for your feedback. Are you wanting to search across multiple PDF documents, or are you using a collection or portfolio (a single document with multiple documents embedded).
We don't support search across multiple documents for either of these cases, but it would help to know what you are requesting. -
When I try to open CS6 camera raw I get an error abou the parent application not bein active.
Actually there are two problems. 1) When I try to open a picture in CS6 camera raw I get this error "Bridge's parent application is not active. Bridge requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature. My second problem is that I'm unable to open Ps without getting a window to get the creative cloud. If I close the window it closed Ps.
How do I fix these two problems?Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try to disable Protected Mode [Edit | Preferenes | Security (Enhanced)].
