Get Filename in ITS Server

ABAP Experts,
Hope you can help me with my problem. I used the FM KD_GET_FILENAME_ON_F4. Works fine if i run the program in SAP but when the program is caled in the UI (ITS Server), it doesn't work and then UI hangs instead.
I also tried using the method "cl_gui_frontend_services=>file_open_dialog" but also didnt work.

Hi Dexter,
You should use method "cl_gui_frontend_services=>file_open_dialog" also you need to have a JVM plugin in your browser.

Hi everyone,
I have just upgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 6. Everything is running perfectly well except for my emails. My primary email address is on Hotmail and the email app on my iPad is unable to connect itself to the server hence I cannot get any email. Which is really really frustrating and I have already missed a few important ones.
If someone can please kindly give me a solution, I have already tried mannually turning on the SMTP servers but that didn't work either. A timely response will be highly appreciated.

There may be settings in the hotmail account that you need to change. I know I had to manually tell it to allow me to delete mails on the device, but even then I have to delete it on every device I use to access the account

I've received mail on my hotmail and I have iOS6, so I do think it's an issue with a specific device or account.

Need some more info as to where this is installed and how.
First thing to try would be to uninstall the solution and reinstall.
Check the GAC for your assembly as well as web.config.
If you don't see it in one of those places, something went wrong with the install and you'll need to start over.

Tried the FAQ help still getting a runtime error, server error with a certain website

I've tried repeatedly going to the forums at texags.com as I have in the past but keep getting the following message-
Server Error in '/' Application.
Runtime Error

Other people on the forum use firefox without problems and I have done so in the past. I'm trying to switch back from Chrome but this is a huge block for me. I have checked for updates and cleared the history and cache as suggested in the FAQs. ANy advice?

Is it possible that a setting or extension or external software is blocking some data that the site expects? You might check the cookie settings per this article:

I had the exact same problem & this worked for me. All I needed was the first step. Good luck!!!! (copied from another thread):

Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help, and indeed installation can even trigger this state.
Unfortunately, it often then gives misleading error messages about what is wrong.
A common incorrect message informs you that the ID is already in use on another computer and cannot be reused.
Another is "E_AUTH_NOT_READY"
This can often be resolved by completely removing any authorization using ctrl-shift-D to the Library screen on ADE (cmd-shift-D if on Mac).

No, its been never jail break this happens sometimes but sometimes it doesnt. And he is not in the U.S.A, and is using his iphone in another country. Can it be because of a modem or bad internet?

If you don't get helpful replies, I suggest you try to improve your question style a bit. There are many non native English speakers around here and the ability to phrase slick sentences varies. But for a start you could try to adhere to minimal English language standards like starting a sentence with an uppercase letter, and ending a sentence with a dot and a blank to separate it from the next sentence. Don't use ellipses (...) all over the place suggesting that the reader knows what you want to say. Rather please say it.
Its is good style to only post the necessary code to understand the problem. However, the code you posted seems to be cut off too early to even get a grasp at what you are trying to achieve.

Confirmed: Get around the Activation Server error msg HERE

Way to get around Apple Activation Server Problem - Confirmed with my phone:
1. Once you have downloaded the update, click Update in iTunes..
2. As the update unpacks itself, disconnect your net connection immediately.
3. iTunes will say it is preparing your phone to update, and your phone will show a usb cable with an arrow to the iTunes logo..
4. After about a minute (I'm on a Win box atm..) USB drivers will update, then the phone will go blank (backlight still on) and the apple logo will come up..
5. After another minute, a white progress bar comes up under the apple logo, and the update starts.
The update takes about 3-4 minutes to install, and the phone reboots itself.. All is well when it comes back up, and iTunes automatically updates to show you now have 3.0 installed.
*Note* do NOT disconnect your internet connection until iTunes is unpacking your update. Doing so will immediately throw up a connection error message in iTunes when you click update.. Once your phone shows the white apple logo, it's safe to connect the net back up..

Step two means to disconnect your ethernet cable from your computer, or if it's wireless, turn off your wireless adapter.. Do NOT disconnect your iPhone from your computer AT ALL from the time you click "update" to when your phone reboots, and comes up to its' home screen. (The total time is about 6-7 minutes)
The "unpacking" only takes about 5-10 seconds depending on your computer, so you need to be quick about disconnecting your internet connection from your PC..

Connect to Collab through its Server API

I'm struggling to figure out how to connect to Collab Server using its server API. The API docs aren't online and I can't find any examples. Basically, I want to do this:

Perhaps WSS adapter is available for you.
The WSS adapter is for sending and receiving XML and binary messages from and to SharePoint document libraries.
I can use the WCF-WebHttp adapter to communicate with REST services but I have problems with authenticate with SharePoint Online.

HOW TO DO THIS: Copy and Paste THE selected Filename AND its entire PATH from Finder to another application as in document footer reference, or document database which has a path field to aid in locating the file later.
Finder, Spotlight and File Info (can be used to display Path) or using Command F, command I, etc. but user is not allowed to copy the path to clipboard.
This is rudimentary, yet the word Path, is unknown to Mac Help.

its tedious, but this should work:
open a terminal window.
Drag and drop the icon for the file in the terminal
window.
This will put the full path including the filename on
the command line.
Copy the path from the command line, and paste
(wherever).
Close the terminal window.

Cannot get maile connection to server failed

followed the instructions for icloud set up in apple support for ipad and iphone even deleted the account and then set the account up with the correct ID and password. I do use a different ID than my apple ID for my icloud account. I use my me.com email address. I can get into the cloud on my pc and I can send and recieve email when I log into my icloud account but this fails to work on my ipad and iphone. Attempts to seen or get email on these devices when on a wifi network end up with the message "cannot get mail connection to server failed"

Using SET GET parameters in ITS

Is it possible to use set get parameters in ITS. We want to set some parameters in a BADI and read the value in ITS Template .
Or is there any other method to do this?

Sure. In your abap program use the following code
* ITS macros
INCLUDE avwrtcxm.
GET PARAMETER ID 'YOUR_PARAMETER' FIELD SAVE_PARAMETER.
field-set u2018~YOUR_PARAMETERu2019 1 SAVE_PARAMETER.
field-transport.
in the template you can now use ~YOUR_PARAMETER.

Yes I have done that. But In FTP Server I cannt read file, because no previliges. Only I need to copy file from FTP Server to local server then only I can read that file.
I tried all options using FileConrol(getFiles(),read()).
getFiles() - It wont copy the file, it give information about file.
read() - I dont have previliges to read the file.
Please tell me any other procedure would be there for getting file from FTPServer.

Hi, I bought an e-book in PDF format that uses Adobe DRM. I've created an account on adobe.com and tried downloading the book in Adobe Digital Editions on the Mac (as well as the bookstore's e-reader--logged into my Adobe account--on an Android device).
It tries to download the book but get's the following error:

Getting "Error 500--Internal Server Error" for Enterprise Manager

Hi,
I'm getting "Error 500--Internal Server Error" while invoking EM of wls server ie http://<host>:7001/em/ It used to work fine before. Restored config.xml from domain_bak, but still error persists. I can see following error in AdminServer logs while invoking above URL:
