Get/Put occurs when a partition rebalance is underway

What happens when, for a distributed cache, rebalancing of partitions is underway and a get or put operation comes through? Does the get/put get blocked till the rebalancing of partitions is completed?

I am doing a migration from one server to another server. I am on testing period. I am working on this setup
SALESDB - RHEL 5.2(64bit) and Oracle Database 10.2.0.4
It has schemas: SALESMGR, TARGET, REPORT and FINANCE
These schemas will be migration to another database with the same name (we will be shutting down SALESDB 10g after the migration)
SALESDB - RHEL 5.5(64bit) and Oracle Database 11.2.0.2

The EXPDP process of the schemas in 10g DB are good and no errors where encountered. But during the IMPDP process of the schemas in 11g DB, I got the follwing erorrs:

I have not created the complete TNS entries in the TNSNAMES.ORA file in the new Oracle 11g. We will be updating this on the actual migration process. Is this the root cause of the problem? I am sure that all database links are existing but upon validating it, it says "ORA-02019: connection description for remote database not found."
Any ideas or feedback on this?

Yes, this is the root cause : Oracle can not compile your packages if it can not connect to remote tables.
You have to create those entries in your tnsnames, but may be you can reference some test databases in your tnsnames instead of the real production databases, to avoid mistakes.

Are you trying to access the service from Acrobat Reader?
Try using the link: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf sign in with your Adobe ID and try to convert a pdf to doc and check if that works for you.

Error occurred when modifying array

I have recently built a new machine with the stuff listed in my profile. I have trawled these formums but have not found any with the specific problem- given that i have not read every thing written perhaps some one can shed some light onto this problem.
I have a single Seagate Barracuda 120GB SATA drive that is recognised by the Promise BIOS after you press F6 (you get a "no Array defined" error and F6 to setup array or ESC to continue boot.
Once in the Bios you are offered (correctly) the performance option and all the seagates parameters are recognised correctly. This is true in option 1 auto and 3 define array. So you select Ctrl Y to build your array and get
"Error occurred when modifying array. System is going to Reboot ! press any key to reboot"
I don't know where to begin on this. the machine has no OS on it as I hoped to install XP onto this drive and have Mandrake on the 4GB.
Any ideas anyone.

I have lots of cooling and a 400W PSU. :]

400w psu does not say ANYTHING.
for example an enermax 350w has MUCH more power than a q-tec 550w.
post amps on the 3.3v 5v and 12v rails on the psu.
should be written on a label on the psu.
k7n2 is VERY picky about memory and i dont think your memory is approved nforce2 memory.
there is a thread about memory at the top of this forum.
try other memory if you have it.
could also try http://www.memtest86.org
its a mem test program.
try to remove zip.
have seen alot of people having strange problem due to a zip drive.

urgh... just noticed my previous post said i have mountain lion... i meant that i have snow leopard. no idea why i messed that up!
anyway, i just tried reinstalling snow leopard from the usb key that came with the computer. Then, I installed software updates until it told me there were no more updates. After that, I tried the app store again, and it still is giving me the unknown error. really irked by that. may have to take it back to the apple store yet again, to see if i can figure out why the app store won't work.

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

I tried activating again.but it failed.Problem is it has about 10 mil records and this load is very important to be done within next 12 hours.
I had deleted a PSA request but when i looked into the table RSTSODSPART,i have a PSA request not checked for Deletion flag.I am not sure why this happened.Does this have anything to do?But i also have another question,if i load from PSA was successful,i dont see a point as why the second load would error out.In that case is there anyway to delete one particular entry in that table.

Restart your computer and the iPhone. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.

I would get an external drive today and copy all your stuff off the TC.. forget trying to load more onto it. There is a good chance after 3years (A 2TB should be only about 2years tops), the disk or the TC itself is on the way out. Do it immediately. If TM is also failing to backup you need to recognise symtoms of impending doom.
Unfortunately the error messages are archane and it is hard to discover their meaning.
You also cannot verify a network drive.. you can verify the TM sparsebundle though so do that.

Reboot the whole network from off.. certainly if you run later OS it can simply lose the drive..
If you still fail to be able to copy to the TC.. then get that external and copy off it. Tell us if you can do that.

If that doesn't help, drag the App Store icon straight up off your Dock so it goes, "poof".
Now drag the App Store icon from your Applications folder to the Dock. Try updating your apps.

I Nearly bought from Amazon too but I found a thread from Adobe stating that the only recognized outlet for lightoom is themselves and other outlets serial numbers will not be guaranteed.
