Get Stored Procedure Last Execution time.

Hi,
I am looking to get last execution of store proc(My cache is flushed off). So would like to know all the store proc execution times.
sys.dm_exec_query_stats( as I known gets from cache, now all my cache is flushed)
Is there any way out.

You may need to look at sys.dm_exec_procedure_stats.
As your cache is flushed, you will be unlikely to get this information without manual logging.

  • Last execution time() function in webi

    Hi Everybody,
    If you use Last Execution time() function in webi it will give us something like: 9:36:53PM. But i need to minus 1hr from this.i should get the time as 8:36:53PM. Everytime i use this function i should minus one hour from the Last Execution Time().
    Thanks in Advance.

    The following formula will return a last execution time minus an hour.
    =If(FormatDate(LastExecutionDate(); "hh")="00"; "23"; FormatNumber(ToNumber(FormatDate(LastExecutionDate(); "hh"))-1;"00"))+FormatDate(LastExecutionDate(); ":mm:ss")
    There may be a better way of doing it but I have not found it.

    How to capture the latest SAP database update b/w time intervals?
    3) Suppose I am downloading TXT file using "GUI_DOWNLOAD" and say in 20th record some error has happened. I can capture the error using the exception.
    Is it possible to run the program once again from 21st records ? All this will be running in background...
    Kindly clarify....
    Points will be rewarded
    Thanks in advance

    1.Use tcode STAT input as Tcode of Fm and execute .

  • URGENT: I want to pass a variable to a stored procedure at run time

    Post Author: aruplabs
    CA Forum: Data Connectivity and SQL
    I work for a health care provider and I have reports that pull PHI (Protected Health Information) about patients that needs to be logged according to federal HIPAA regulations. One of the pieces of information that needs to be logged is the username of the person who ran the report. Since these reports will be run from our Crystal Enterprise server I can get this from the CurrentCEUserName variable but I am looking for a way to pass this value to a stored procedure that will not only return the records for the report, but also log the disclosure in our PHI disclosure tracking table. I know you can pass a parameter to a stored procedure but I dont know how, or if it is even possible, to pass a run time variable. This is an urgent problem that I need to find a solution for. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Here it is. Right now, when i press te "Go" it runs for the specific time i've set and when its done the variable "Run" is set true. When i call this VI from another VI it waits for the loop to be finished before it will read the variable.

    create table #temp (

    insert into #temp
    SELECT db_name() ,name,(LEN(definition) - LEN(REPLACE(definition,'' '' + @TableName + '' '','''')))/LEN('' '' + @TableName + '' '') AS Occurance
    FROM sys.sql_modules m
    INNER JOIN sys.objects o
    ON o.object_id = m.object_id

  • Algorithm or pseudo code sought for getting the latest last modified time..

    Hi I need to write a program in java that lists the latest last modified time among the files in folders and its subfolder and also gets the size of the folder. In my case, average folder size is 9 GB. Could you please suggest any algorithm to achieve this?? I tried to implement it by gathering last modified times from folders and its subfolders recursively and storing the info in Vector and finally
    getting the max of the last modified times but it was horribly slow and memory hogging.

    Remove the part that stores the data in a Vector. You don't need to store any data to add up a series of numbers. And you don't need to store any data to find the largest of a series of numbers either. Just scan the directory recursively as you are already doing and keep track of the sum of the sizes and the max of the last-modified dates.

  • Getting Stored Procedure Parameters Programmatically

    Hi,
    Does anyone know of a way to programatically return the paramaters of a stored procedure? I am building a code generator and have found the all_procedures view to get the stored procedures name now all I need is a way to get the parameters so I can execute the SP and get the column names they return.
    Thanks,
    Chuck

    Play around with this;;
    select OBJECT_NAME, PACKAGE_NAME, ARGUMENT_NAME, POSITION, DATA_TYPE, IN_OUT, DATA_LENGTH, DATA_PRECISION, DATA_SCALE from user_arguments where UPPER(object_name) = UPPER(:object_name) and package_name is null order by position
    The reference to package names is because this code will work for stand-alone procedures/functions. If the procedure/function is in a package then you would specify the package name to get the parameters.

  • Stored Procedure delay execution

    Good Afternoon,
    I am trying to execute 4 separate stored procedures, however I want to put a 10 second delay in between executing each procedure. The stored procedures are called SP_1, SP_2 etc.. Is there a really simple way of doing this with a SQL script?.
    Thanks in advance.
    Steve

    use WAITFOR DELAY '00:00:10' option put this for every sp.
    example :
    create PROCEDURE dbo.testtotal
    AS
    exec test1;
    WAITFOR DELAY '00:00:10'
    exec test2;
    WAITFOR DELAY '00:00:10'
    exec test3
    WAITFOR DELAY '00:00:10'
    exec test4
    GO
    Pls mark as answer if this helpful to you

  • How to get the BPEL instances execution time from dehydration db by query

    I want know list of BPEL instance takes more then 10seconds for execution between so and so time.
    Could please provide the query to get this details
    Thanks
    Panneer Selvam

    Tough and Tricky but here is the solution
    select * from dev1_soainfra.cube_instance where
    (select sum((extract(hour from MODIFY_DATE)-extract(hour from current_timestamp))*3600
    + (extract(minute from MODIFY_DATE)-extract(minute from current_timestamp))*60
    + extract(second from MODIFY_DATE)-extract(second from current_timestamp))*1000 from dev1_soainfra.cube_instance where
    COMPONENTTYPE='bpel' and COMPOSITE_NAME='COMPOSITE_NAME' ) > 1000000
    and COMPONENTTYPE='bpel' and COMPOSITE_NAME='COMPOSITE_NAME' ;
    Replace COMPOSITE_NAME with your actual name of the composite.
    Let me know if it works.

  • How do I get TS to print Execution Time in header as HH:MM:SS?

    I set TS report option to include times
    it reports sec
    how can I get it as HH:MMS?

    Hey Stephen,
    What kind of report are you generating? XML? HTML?
    If it's XML then you will have to change the style sheet to do that format.  Which you will have to know how to do that.
    If you are generating using HTML you will have to change the step in the AddReportHeader sequence in the reportgen_html.seq file.  This gets called by the process model.

  • How to run stored procedure in run-time not in design

    hello:
    I have download the ODT software
    and i installed VS 2003 environment
    amd i have oracle 9i on the server and oralce client on my computer
    and I know how to run the ODT inside the VS2003 and how to use it
    I built a package and inside it a procedure that does not take any parameter
    PROCEDURE "TEST1" IS
    BEGIN
    insert into emp (empno,ename)
    values (3003,'jon');
    END "TEST1";
    this procedure is valid and I can run it in ODT (by right click over the procedure name and select "Run")
    but when I drag it and drop this procedure on a form in application I have a dialog with errors that's not understandable
    for example:
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 27
    PLS-00315: PL/SQL TABLE Declarations must currently use binary_integer indexes
    and many other errors
    ok I want to know how I can call the procedure in the code and give to it the in parameters and then get the out parameters
    I hope to find replay
    thank you

    Hi,
    You have to take care of certain measures other thatn just drag and drop the Oracle procedure to the .NET form.
    Following is a simple code to call an Oracle procedure from the C#.Net form
    ============================================================
    using System;
    using System.Collections;
    using System.ComponentModel;
    using System.Drawing;
    using System.Web;
    using System.Web.SessionState;
    using System.Web.UI;
    using System.Web.UI.WebControls;
    using System.Web.UI.HtmlControls;
    using System.Data;
    using Oracle.DataAccess.Client;
    using Oracle.DataAccess.Types;
    namespace TEST1
         public class CallingProcs : System.Web.UI.Page
              protected System.Web.UI.WebControls.Button Button1;
              protected System.Web.UI.WebControls.TextBox txtYear;
              OracleConnection conn;
              private void Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
                   // Put user code to initialize the page here
                   string oradb = "Data Source=ORA1;User Id=SCOTT;Password=TIGER;";
    conn = new OracleConnection(oradb);
                   conn.Open();
              #region Web Form Designer generated code
              override protected void OnInit(EventArgs e)
                   // CODEGEN: This call is required by the ASP.NET Web Form Designer.
                   InitializeComponent();
                   base.OnInit(e);
              /// <summary>
              /// Required method for Designer support - do not modify
              /// the contents of this method with the code editor.
              /// </summary>
              private void InitializeComponent()
                   this.Button1.Click += new System.EventHandler(this.Button1_Click);
                   this.Load += new System.EventHandler(this.Page_Load);
              #endregion
              private void Button1_Click(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
                   //OracleCommand dbcmd = new OracleCommand();
                   OracleCommand dbcmd = conn.CreateCommand ();
                   dbcmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
                   dbcmd.CommandText = "TEST1";
                   try
                        dbcmd.ExecuteNonQuery ();
                        Response.Write("Excecuted succesfully");
                   catch(Exception ex)
                        Response.Write(ex.Message);
    ============================================================
    Most of the above code is generated automatically. I am using Visual Studio .NET 2003 , C# for it.
    The design view of the form contains a button named 'Button1' and the code is aimed to call the procedure 'TEST1' on clicking the button.
    Hope this will give you a start to using oracle from .NET

  • How to get status of last execution of a scheduler job

    Hi,
    I am trying to write a pl/sql code that can manually the scheduler job (one time type/ not a repetitive) which are in retry scheduled state.
    even after execution is successfull job is not dropped even if i set auto_drop to true.
    I need some way to capture execution status of dbms_scheduler.run_job('job_name');. based on which i can manually drop the job if it is successfull.
    taking the value from dba_scheduler_job_run_details doesn't seem to be good option as there may be multiple logs and we don't what time interval we need to match.
    can anybody help me in this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    I'm a little confused at what is happening. It sounds like the following is the case
    - You have created a run-once job and set restartable to TRUE and auto-drop to TRUE. It has failed a few times and is now in the RETRY SCHEDULED STATE .
    - Now you have fixed the issue and want to force a rerun and drop the job if it has succeeded.
    If this is the case you have several options.
    - just wait until the job has retried itself, you can see the next scheduled date in the dba_scheduler_jobs view
    - use dbms_scheduler.run_job(use_current_session=>false) . You will have to monitor dba_scheduler_job_run_details to see the status of the job run but you can easily use log_date to figure out which row is your row. Just select the row with log_date > sysdate when you called run_job. If that run succeeds, you will manually need to call drop_job.
    - use dbms_scheduler.run_job(use_current_session=>true) . Because this runs the job action in the foreground it will hang until the job action has finished. Any error will be thrown as a foreground PL/SQL error. If there is no error, the action has succeeded and you can go ahead and do a drop_job.
    Hope this helps,
    Ravi.
