Algorithm or pseudo code sought for getting the latest last modified time..

Hi I need to write a program in java that lists the latest last modified time among the files in folders and its subfolder and also gets the size of the folder. In my case, average folder size is 9 GB. Could you please suggest any algorithm to achieve this?? I tried to implement it by gathering last modified times from folders and its subfolders recursively and storing the info in Vector and finally
getting the max of the last modified times but it was horribly slow and memory hogging.

Remove the part that stores the data in a Vector. You don't need to store any data to add up a series of numbers. And you don't need to store any data to find the largest of a series of numbers either. Just scan the directory recursively as you are already doing and keep track of the sum of the sizes and the max of the last-modified dates.

Getting the Publisher Last Modified Date to show up in a snapshot query?

Hello,
I have been requested to create a Snapshot Query of the latest content to a Publisher 6.5 folder. I created a Publisher Crawler to output data to the Knowledge Directory (KD), then created a Snapshot Query to point at the KD folder.
I set it to use Object Last Modifed - but it pulls the last crawl date, and then tried File Modifed - which gives the date 01/01/00 12:00 AM, Published comes up with 01/01/00 12:00AM, Publisher comes up with a blank.
Publisher itself has two time fields - Created and Modified On. I want to display Modified On and have no luck.

edit: reading your post again, i'm not sure i understand. i am probably giving you bad info.
Are you saying you want the KD card modified dates to match the content item modified dates? Thats not really how the portal works (although lots of people want it to work that way).
The KD card modified dates reflect the last time the card was refreshed. (Useless, I know)

VIAUFKST. I have written the query like this...

but its not giving me right results... Pls help me out on this or suggest me the right approach to achieve the same...As this is very critical issue...

The reason why you are getting this result is because the system is interpreting the DESCENDING only for AEZEIT not for both. Change it to
SORT I_VIAUFKST BY AEDAT DESCENDING AEZEIT DESCENDING

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

Loading the latest version of Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationPages.dll fixed the problem with the List/Library settings page.
I check our Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationPages.dll and found that we have version 14.0.6024.1000.
I would like to try replacing it with the latest version to see if that could fix the problem going into library settings.
Does someone know where I can get the latest Microsoft.SharePoint.ApplicationPages.dll for SharePoint 2010?

You would need to extract it from an update. Pre-SP2 SharePoint 2010 is no longer supported, I'd recommend upgrading to SP2 which should take care of any versioning issues.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Well, if yes, then just check the FM 'BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_GETDETAIL'.
Or just search for oher FMs with BAPI_BUPA*.

Welcome to the Apple community khnkOliver.
I assume these photos, or at least not all of them weren't in photo stream.
You should be able to recover your photos from a back up.

Using JCom for getting the user name

I am using jcom610-win.exe and weblogic610sp2_win.exe .I need to use the Jcom for getting the user name of the NT Iser Logged in.I have got the process for this on the page at http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs61/jcomreference/Security.html .But this page uses a method isCallerAuthenticated() from a class file called jcom .I looked into the whole bea directory but there was no class like in the server dir.Can you tell where to get this class from.And if this has not been provided into the jar files that come along with the installable then why is it mentioned in the page @ http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs61/jcomreference/Security.html

You can use MetadataGet API to get all versions associated with the model and then sort them by CreatedDateTime or
UpdatedDateTime depending how you define "the latest version" .
The code would be like :
