cust               status code               0calday              qty
payer1                   1                       1/1/2014              10

payer2                   4                       1/5/2014              100
Is this possible in query? Or do I need to do this in start routine?
By the way, I can already show the QTY figures, I used CONSTANT SELECTION..My problem now is how to the STATUS CODE..How will I do this?
Thank you!
Loed

Loed,If you are flexible with modeling level changes then i would suggest to stamp the values of status and status date against payer in cube.
Add the two objects ion cube.Do a lookup on the DSO from cube in End routine and based on payer fetch the value of status and status date against each payer.
Now once you have the complete data in the cube then at reporting level to get the correct status based on the validity dates you can refer my blog.
Status of Tickets based on their Dates
PS:If you need assistance in the coding part then let me know.

• How can I get the report status?

I am using web service to connect to BI Publisher and run the report by java code. And I have questions still unclear, anyone who knows about it please help me.
1. Is there any method to get the report status, such as whether the report runs successfully or not.
2. If I have a huge table that binds with the template (maybe RTF template), how about the performance of the BI publisher?
3. I use the sample codes in the web service tutorial to run the report, but the out pdf report doesn't change when i add or remove the table data, how can I resolve it?
Thanks very much.

Use the web services and use this function
getScheduledReportStatus
you will get the status of the report ran.
Possible values are: "Completed", "Error" "Running", "Scheduled","Suspended", "Unknown"
It is in the table XMLP_SCHED_OUTPUT status column :)

• When we run query how it gets the characteristic values and attributes.

Hi,
When we load transaction data it chacks characteristic values then SIDs then DIM IDs then insert DIM IDs into fact table but when we run the query how it checks and gets the characteristic values and attributes.
Bye
GK

when we run the query how it checks and gets the characteristic values and attributes.
Just the opposite way you have described. It gets from the corresponding masterdata tables, with the connected SID.

• To get the Workflow status using the Object Key

Hi Experts,
Do we have any transaction code or a Standard table where I can see the status of the Workflow using the Object Key.
For example I have an Invoice Document number for which a Workflow has been triggered and now I want to see the which workflow has been triggered and what is the status for the same. I have only the Invoice Document Number.
I think I can use the SWI1, SWEL etc but I don't have Object key as Input field.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
SRinivas

Hi,
You can find the workitem id in table SWW_WI2OBJ.
Here you need to pass the invoice number in "Instacne ID" with leading zeros, business object in Object type.
This may take little bit longer time.
After getting the workitem number then look into table SWWWIHEAD for the workitem status.
Thanks and regards,

• Can I get the GP status using GP API.

Hi all,
Can I use the GP API to get one process status present,for example,"reject" or "approve" according to the process instance ID?
If there's a way,how can i archive this?
Best regards,
delma

Hi,
Using GP API it is possible to achieve the process status of any particular process.
In the package com.sap.caf.eu.gp.process.api, we have several classes that can give the process such as IGP Process and the status can be achieved by the method getStatus.
For more information refer to this link:

Award points if helpful.

• Database Control always gets "The database status is currently unavailable"

I have two 10.1.0 databases installed on a Windows XP machine. Instance orcl always gets this message. Instance orcltwo does not. If I shut down orcl and then start the web database control page I can select the startup button and it starts up the database and then goes back to the pages that says that the database is not available. The console for that database is running with no errors that I can find. The DBSNMP account is not locked. The SYSMAN account is not locked. There are no errors in any log file that I can find. What am I doing wrong here. The orcltwo instance has no problems at all.

Just to share this experience with everyone. This happened with Grid Control (not sure if it applies to Database Control).
All the targets in EM (except the Agent) showed Down or Unavailable for two weeks. This is how I checked it.
Note that if the Agent is not able to upload Metrics to the repository due to one reason or the other, you will not be able to see the current status.
Assuming your ORACLE_HOME is different from your AGENT_HOME. Check the emagent trace file in the Agent home.
e.g with AGENT home as D:\oracle\agent\
check D:\oracle\agent\sysman\log\emagent.trc to see the latest error message.
Then check the upload directory to see if there are xml files waiting to be uploaded
e.g D:\oracle\agent\sysman\emd\upload
This directory should be clear of .xml file if your metrics loading is working.
From the Agents Monitoring screen in Enterprice Manager (Management System -> Agent), under the Upload session where there is Upload Metric Data button, check for "Last Successful Upload" and "Data Pending Upload " and any error messages. If the Metric upload is not working, the Data Pending uplaod will be more than 0.00MB and the error message link will show you the xml file it is unable to load. Which you will find in my example D:\oracle\agent\sysman\emd\upload
I my example upload file B0002332.xml is the one I found on the error url and when I viewed it in the directory, the structure is different from others. This inability to load it caused all other upload files to be queuing. There was a line in it as
<METRIC_GUID><![CDATA[€=3F6739EE03C21CE7CA5E32FD9185]]></METRIC_GUID>
Looking at the structure of other files, I took a guess (not the best , this is a test EM) and changed it to
<METRIC_GUID>80C23F6739EE03C21CE7CA5E32FD9185</METRIC_GUID>
Then all the two weeks 32MB of xml files loaded automatically within seconds. Logoff EM and Login, everything showed the correct status.
Hope this helps.

• How to get the distinct values in Attribute View?

Hi,
While doing the data preview of attribute view its showing duplicate records.
Can i restrict all these duplicate in attribute view and get only distinct values?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Deepak,
Please check the Key Attribute combination in the Source System and Create Attribute view with the same combination.
so that you won't get any duplicate values.
If you are taking fields randomly Pls ensure that you are taking at least one primary key combination use the same combination while creating Attribute View.
As u know that the purpose of Attribute view is to store the Master Data Objects like BI/BW which stores Non duplicate values.

• BADI for CJ20N to get the WBS status when changed

Hi all,
Here's the requirement:
I have to capture the previous status and currently changed status of the WBS element in CJ20N T-CODE and save this in the ZTABLE.
Every time the STATUS of WBS element changes..the ZTABLE has to get updated.
Will you please help me out to do this.
I have tried with BADI - WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE, could find that the status part is updated after the call to WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE.
Thanks and Regards,

Edited by: Krishna Chaitanya G on Apr 27, 2009 6:30 PM

Use BADI WORKBREAKDOWN_UPDATE method AT_SAVE. The WBS elements are in internal table IT_WBS_ELEMENT which has structure PRPS. Use OBJNR to find status with function module
CALL FUNCTION 'STATUS_READ'
EXPORTING
CLIENT                 = SY-MANDT
objnr                  = gs_wbs_element-objnr
ONLY_ACTIVE            = ' '
TABLES
STATUS                 = et_status
EXCEPTIONS
OBJECT_NOT_FOUND       = 1
OTHERS                 = 2
The statuses are buffered in a separate memory area so be careful if you call any function modules that affect statuses e.g one to create Sales Orders as this initializes the buffered statuses and they are not changed when you save the WBS element. To get round this problem put the current status in a separate memory area carry out the processing that initializes the statuses and then recall the status from memory.
CALL FUNCTION 'STATUS_BUFFER_EXPORT_TO_MEMORY'
EXPORTING
i_memory_id = 'ZPSS_STATUS'.
LOOP AT gt_pss_01 ASSIGNING <ls_pss_01>.
