Get the pixel of the video ?

Hello,
I'd like to use OSMF, but I need to make some operation on the pixel
Without OSMF, I'm using something like :
        private var connection:NetConnection;
        private var stream:NetStream;
        private var video:Video ;
        private var bmd:BitmapData ;
        connection = new NetConnection();
        connection.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, netStatusHandler);
        connection.connect(null);
        stream = new NetStream(connection);
        video = new Video(1024, 768);
        video.attachNetStream(stream);
        public function onNewFrame(evt:Event):void
                bmd.draw(video);
               // do my stuff
How can I retrieve the video instance with SMP ?
I spend some time understanding the architecture, but I'm still looking for the solution
Thanks for any advice

Thanks for your answer,
For the moment, I've made test with mediaContainer, but I have Security exception error :
                bmd.draw(mediaContainer);
I'm not using a FMS server, I've just try to load a flv in local file system and on a http server
I've added a crossdomain.xml and a Security.loadPolicyFile("http://server/crossdomain.xml"); in my server without any success
This is my error :
SecurityError: Error #2123: Violation de la sécurité Sandbox : BitmapData.draw : http://server/src/player/StrobeMediaPlayback/bin/StrobeMediaPlayback.swf ne peut pas accéder à null. Accès refusé à tous les fichiers de régulation.
I didn't have this sort of exception with the basic class NetStream, NetConnection and Video ... (in fact, yes I add, but with FMS only)
Any idea about this security issue ?
Best regards

    ever since I upgraded iPhoto to 9.5, my camcorder videos aren't all downloading properly  and I have several of the videos to say a necessary data reference could not be found.  I also can see many of the pixels on the video footage that was downloaded.  Anyone have any suggestions???

    What version of iPhoto and system are you using?  Also what camera make and model are you using?
    See if you can download all of the videos to a folder on the Desktop using Image Capture and import  into iPhoto from that folder.

  • I get red pixels in the dark areas when converting duotone images to RGB

    Hi, I have been using Duotone with my photos, but since the other day, everytime that I process a photo this way, when I convert then back to RGB mode, the dark (black) areas of the photo become a kind of bitmap of red pixels. I have tried with many different photos from RAW or JPEG files and I get the same result with all of them. This is an example of the issue. The original is on the left.
    What may cause this? The photo looks good in duo tone. It is when converting to RGB when the corruption happens.
    Thanks

    Not following you:  why are you converting from Duotone back to RGB?

  • When I watch any videos the pixels of the video go random colours

    when ever I watch videos or even go on facetime the screen goes blurry and random colours but only where the video is not the whole screen

    Most YouTube content requires Flash. Apple does not support Flash for iOS devices.
    Try using the pre installed YouTube app.

  • How do i remove the pixels in my video ?

    I mean you know, i dont want to see the squares and want to make the video seem as clear as possible ?

    is their a trick or a way to make it seem more like high-definition
    No real trick to that:
    1. Shoot in a High Def format.
    2. Use an excellent lens.
    3. Use great lighting.
    4. Never compress the footage any further than the original recording.
    5. Never display it on a poor quality HD monitor.
    6. Never stand/sit/view too close to the monitor - move back and it will usually look better.
    If you shot in an SD format but need it in HD, there may be one trick though: http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/products/all/magic-bullet-instant-hd/

  • Resizing pixel art video without affecting the pixels with blur.

    Hello everyone,
    First I would like to mention that I did searched for an answer to my issue on the forum but only found a thread by Rowby Goren from Jan 4, 2010, who asked a similar pixel resize question regarding to still images in CS4. He was answered to use Photoshop for this kind of task. My issue on the other hand is for handling a video that can only be edited in Premiere. I'm using CS6. My issue is as follows:
    I work a lot with pixel art animation in 320x240 resolution. Usually I'm making a 320x240 scene of background and characters and the final result should be a doubled sized. So each pixel is actually 2 times larger. Just like old adventure games from the good old days that most of us remember. It works great with old style games creation engines however when I want to make a video with my pixel art creation in Premiere, I couldn't achieve an exact and clean doubled pixel when resizing the source by 200%. It always gets blurry. Does anyone knows if Premiere has any switch off option for scalling blur?
    I have created an image that describes the issue. It's just a simple pixel art image that I picked up on google search. I saved and uploaded it as PNG for best quality, I just hope it won't get compressed after the upload. Any assitance will be appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Gal Shemesh

    Thanks Jim, I am aware of the fact that it's a degraded image that doesn't have any antializing effect on it. And that's what I'm trying to achieve in Premiere, although it's currently impossible. Until now I'm doing exactly what you suggested, which is to double the size in Photoshop or other tool that doesn't affect any antializing on the image and then I import it into Premiere. However this also makes a problem when you want to move objects on the screen as the imported images which are doubled size, won't show well on the 1:1 pixel grid when you move them around the screen. So let's say each move on the X axis to the left or right (which represents a move by 1 pixel) should be moved twice in order to meet the doubled sized images pixel grid.
    Take a look on the picture I created to see what I mean. I've duplicated the box image and I'm trying to position each box one next to another in a 3d space look. The left boxes is the original image of the 2 boxes, and the right image is the doubled sized image that was created outside of Premiere. Please note that I've the entire screenshot twice larger so you could see the difference. And please ignore the fact that there is no antializing on the right image as I made this simulation in Photoshop so the pixels will be clean to show the problem.
    So, if you aware of how a pixel grid looks like, check the left image. The position of the boxes on each other is the way it should be as each pixel from each box keeps the relation of a 1:1 pixel grid. However on the right image I first doubled the original box image to prevent 'blurring' effect when scalling up in Premiere, put it on a 1:1 pixel canvas (where the image has 2:2 pixel grid by now) just like how it will be in Premiere, and tried to position the boxes one next to another. See that there's a confusion between the pixels on the 1:1 grid as they got merged one INTO another without saving the relation of a doubled pixel grid. Where if there was any option to work in doubled sized pixles in Premiere, it would have look like this:
    So importing a doubled size images into Premiere like you suggested is way hard to keep tracking the moving objects in the scene, as you must remember to move them twice the times to each direction. Which means that if you want to move an object from one side of the screen to the other side, you'll have to do it frame by frame in a move of 2 pixels by frame, rather then positioning it in one place, make a keyframe, and then go to where the movement should end and place another keyframe.
    Hope now my issue is clear.
    All the best,
    Gal Shemesh

  • Get the color of a pixel on the Stage

    Is there a way to retrieve the color of a generic pixel on the screen using the mouse pointer inside the Stage of Flash Player? With the getPixel method of the BitmapData class you can get the color of a pixel only if the mouse is over a bitmap image, but what if I need the color a generic pixel on the screen?

    this takes a snapshot of the pixel below the mouse:
    function eventHandler(event:MouseEvent):void
         var bmd:BitmapData = new BitmapData(1, 1, false, 0x000000);
         var matrix:Matrix = new Matrix();
         matrix.translate(event.stageX, event.stageY);
         //can never remember which way translate works so it could be:
         //matrix.translate(-event.stageX, -event.stageY);
         bmd.draw(stage, matrix);
         var pixelColour:uint = bmd.getPixel(0, 0);

  • Late 2011 Macbook Pro green pixels on the screen where dark colors should appear.

    I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro I bought it new with 4 gb of ram. About 4 months ago i purchased 8 gb of pny ram for this model and upgraded the ram. I followed all of the safety precautions and discharged my static electricity before upgrading. It increased the speed of my mac and helps with certain tasks. About 2-3 weeks i notices my mac froze and strange green black and pink bars appeared on the screen so i hold the power button to shut it down and it solves the problem this will happen about once a month but otherwise my mac works perfect. Now about a month ago I powered my mac on and low and behold The screen was covered in green pixels. I tried rebooting twice and it didn't do anything then i let it sleep for about 5 mins opened my mac and the green pixels were gone. Now my mac is still usable and everything works its just sometimes like once in a while ill get a few pixels and closing and opening my mac fixes it. I was curious if this was related to one another or is my mac just starting to die....

    I have been getting green pixels/boxes the last while...
    I have noticed it after waking the machine from sleep. Not 100% sure if that is the only time it happens. It goes away after a few seconds, typically.
    Any idea what is going on?

  • Locating the position of the brightest pixel in a region of interest

    I need to locate the x and y coordinates for the brightest pixel in a region of interest rectangle (user defined).  I see that there's a Light Meter that uses a rectangle, but I can't find a way to have it tell me the location of the brightest pixel (only the intensity)
    Any input would be appreciated.  I'm using v7.1.
    Thanks

    I don't have time to try to come up with a solution that uses divide and find.  Divide in for sections, find the brightest one, then divide that one into four sections.  Keep going until you get your answer.
    If you use IMAQ Light Meter (Line) you can find the pixel using the line profile.

  • One dead pixel in the UK? Chance of replacement

    Hey,
    I've had my 12" PB for 4 weeks and I love it. Annoyingly I've noticed a dead red subpixel about half-way between the middle and the top left. I have to be honest, I only see it once in a while so not a major issue.
    What are my chances of getting a replacement? I bought the pb from amazon.co.uk.
    Cheers,
    Henry

    Almost none I'm afraid, because that falls well within the acceptable limits. If you had 5 or 6, you'd have a chance.
    Some tips that are suggested to work:
    - Massaging around the pixel, and gently over it.
    - 'Tracking' from the pixel to the edges of the screen (all four) and massaging there.
    Maybe others will chime in with possible solutions:

  • How can I select an area of a picture (larger than one pixel) and find the average RGB values of all the pixels contained inside the area?

    I'm analysing the differences between several different images and I would like to select a large area of each (such as with lasso tool) and find the average RGB value of all of the pixels within the selection area made/

    With the selection you could do a copy paste and use the histogram of the new layer set the histogram source to selected layer.  The eye dropper sample size may also to get the average  of a square area around a point.

  • How do i find the pixels?

    I post a lot of art on websites so i usually export a pic to make it smaller and put it in a folder on my desk top. In that folder it shows how many KB the pic is but not what the pixels are. the only place i can find the pixels is in iPhoto when i look at the original and go to info.
    i ask because i am having trouble posting on one web site and even though my KB is low enough, they ask that the pics are under 800 x 800 pixels and i cant find that info in the reduced sized pictures. where would that info be?

    Select the photo and type Command + i to open the Info tray at the right.  There the pixel dimensions will be displayed.
    You can get the pixel dimensions down to a max of 800 pixels via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu option while selecting a Custom size an entering 800 as the max dimension.

  • After creating a mask on a pixel layer and then throwing it away, the pixels disapper

    If I create a mask on a pixel layer and then throw the mask away, the pixels under the old black mask disappear. Help! How do I fix this? I have already reset preferences. I am using the most current version of Photoshop CC 2014 on a Mac with OS 10.9.5

    Or just leave the layer mask in place.  It's a valuable recourse that you might need to use again.  The layer mask exists as an alpha channel.  It's there in the Channels panel when you click on the layer that contains the layer mask.  You might want to restrict an adjustment layer to the same area, or the inverse of that area.  It's not always convenient to do that by clipping — you might be targeting a layer way up the stack.
    OK, you can Ctrl click the layer if you removed the mask by Applying it, but it feels just plain wrong to me to throw a hard won selection in the dustbin.

  • How can i color the pixels that are only in the area of the rectangle i'm drawing on the picturebox1 ?

    In the form i have picturebox mouse down event:
    bool DrawIt = false;
    private void pictureBox1_MouseDown(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
    timer1.Stop();
    LoadPictureAt(trackBar1.Value, sender);
    pictureBox1.Refresh();
    if (e.Button == MouseButtons.Left)
    rect = new Rectangle(e.X, e.Y, 0, 0);
    DrawIt = true;
    pictureBox1.Refresh();
    rect is a global Rectangle variable.
    The the picturebox mouse move event:
    List<Point> NewPoints = new List<Point>();
    private void pictureBox1_MouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
    if (e.Button == System.Windows.Forms.MouseButtons.Left)
    if (DrawIt == true)
    rect = new Rectangle(rect.Left, rect.Top, Math.Min(e.X - rect.Left, pictureBox1.ClientRectangle.Width - rect.Left), Math.Min(e.Y - rect.Top, pictureBox1.ClientRectangle.Height - rect.Top));
    NewPoints.Add(e.Location);
    pictureBox1.Refresh();
    In the mouse move event i'm drawing the rectangle i didn't check it yet but in the move event i want to draw the rectangle in real time on the picturebox1.
    Then the paint event:
    private void pictureBox1_Paint(object sender, PaintEventArgs e)
    if (cloudPoints != null)
    if (DrawIt)
    CloudEnteringAlert.pointtocolorinrectangle = cloudPoints;
    Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(pictureBox1.Width, pictureBox1.Height, PixelFormat.Format32bppArgb);
    CloudEnteringAlert.Paint(e.Graphics, 1, 200, bmp);
    First in the paint event how do i use the rect to draw the rectangle ?
    Second cloudPoints contain all the pixels in the pictureBox1 Image. Could be 44000 or 400.
    cloudPoints is a List<Point>  For example in cloudPoints index 0 i have a coordinate x = 100 y = 200 of a pixel.
    Then i send the pixels coordinates to another class with Paint method and color the pixels in yellow.
    But instead sending all the pixels coordinates in ccloudPoints i want to send to the paint event only the pixels coordinates from cloudPoints that exist inside the rectangle i was drawing. Only the pixels in the rectangle i was drawing.
    So in the end the List<Point> pointtocolorinrectangle will contain only the pixels coordinates exist in the rectangle i was drawing.
    1. How to fix the code in the move event ?
    2. How to change the code in the paint event so it will send coordinates of pixels only that exist in the drawn rectangle.

    I did it this way:
    bool DrawIt = false;
    private void pictureBox1_MouseDown(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
    timer1.Stop();
    LoadPictureAt(trackBar1.Value, sender);
    pictureBox1.Refresh();
    if (e.Button == MouseButtons.Left)
    rect = new Rectangle(e.X, e.Y, 0, 0);
    DrawIt = true;
    pictureBox1.Refresh();
    List<Point> NewPoints = new List<Point>();
    private void pictureBox1_MouseMove(object sender, MouseEventArgs e)
    if (e.Button == System.Windows.Forms.MouseButtons.Left)
    if (DrawIt == true)
    rect = new Rectangle(rect.Left, rect.Top, Math.Min(e.X - rect.Left, pictureBox1.ClientRectangle.Width - rect.Left), Math.Min(e.Y - rect.Top, pictureBox1.ClientRectangle.Height - rect.Top));
    NewPoints.Add(e.Location);
    pictureBox1.Refresh();
    private void pictureBox1_Paint(object sender, PaintEventArgs e)
    if (cloudPoints != null)
    if (DrawIt)
    e.Graphics.DrawRectangle(pen, rect);
    var pointsAffected = cloudPoints.Where(pt => rect.Contains(pt));
    CloudEnteringAlert.pointtocolorinrectangle = pointsAffected.ToList();
    Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(pictureBox1.Width, pictureBox1.Height, PixelFormat.Format32bppArgb);
    CloudEnteringAlert.Paint(e.Graphics, 1, 200, bmp);
    Working perfect just what i needed.
