Get values from dynamic form items

Hi All,
I create a dynamic form with text input component

I can see the text input components, update the values.
How can I get the updated values from the input components?
I try this["txt_" + i].text but not working. It's not finding the component with the dynamic value.

Getting values from dynamic items

I've created some items on my page using APEX_ITEM. This is a really cool feature, it allows extreme flexibility. My problem is, I can not get the value out of the textbox I've created.
It doesn't appear in session state at all. I thought this wasn't going to happen though.
I've tried a computation to get the value into a hidden item. These items appear null upon submittal.
I came across APEX_APPLICATION.G_F01 - but this isn't working for me either... It appears to be used to access an array and I must not be using it correctly.
Anyone got any pointers on how to get the information out??

I am having a field symbol <fs_table> type standard table, which is getting populated dynamically.
CALL METHOD cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table
    EXPORTING
      it_fieldcatalog = i_fieldcat[]
    IMPORTING
      ep_table        = is_eptab.
ASSIGN is_eptab->* TO <fs_table> .
After the ALV display i am making some changes in the ALV and getting a new internal table <fst_table>,which is having changed values.
Now the problem is that i am not able to get the changed values from <fst_table> as it is not of any structure type and cant associate it with any field like we do in normal internal table and work areas like, wa-fieldname.
All the fields are dynamic.

You have to access to access the fields of your dynamic outtab dynamically as well.

Believe it or not, the same FM worked for me in a dynpro. I will try to explain here how it works in custom screen and then you can do your work for other screens or program types. I am not going to write my actual work but will explain in general.
I have 4 fields (FLD1, FLD2, FLD3, FLD4) and i made the search based on FLD2 and when user click on a line (could be any field), then this would bring the line on to the screens.
There are like 3 steps.
You have your value_tab for my fields FLD1, FLD2, FLD3 and FLD4. This is just the data that we pass into the FM. (data: IT_VALTAB type table of ZVAL_TABLE)
Next map the screen fields into an internal table (data: It_dynpfld type table of dselc ). I also have other internal tables defined (just to keep it straight, i will be putting here) data: It_return type standard table of ddshretval.
Next step is to call the function module. Make sure you have values in IT_VALTAB.

Passing values from a form to a page containing forms.

I would like to pass a value from a form to a page containing two forms (one of the forms is in a tab).Once the value is passed, I want the two forms to be executed with the value passed. Can this be done and how? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, this is possible.
I will give you a brief outline.
From the 1st form, you need to save the value, you want to pass to the 2 other forms, using the wwsto_api_session apis.
Then, using go() or call() from the Successful submission section, you need to go/call the page containing the 2 forms.
You need to write some pl/sql code in the 2 forms (on the page) to retrieve the value saved and perform the action you desire. The saved value can be retrieved using the wwsto_api_session apis.
However, both forms will not get executed at the same time unless both of them are in the same tab i.e. unless both forms are visible at the same time.
If the forms are on different tabs, they will get executed when they are being displayed.
But, there are ways to execute both the forms, if it really necessary, even if they are not on the same tab.
I will be posting the an example soon in this thread.

In my JClient form, I need to get values from a database stored package variable of type record. And the values are retained in the JClient form for the whole session. The values are copied only once when the form is started.
What is the best way to do that ?

not sure what your model is, but if it is Business Components, I think I would expose the properties as a client method on the application module. This way all JClient panels and frames will have access to it. You could use a HashMap to store the data in teh app module.
If JDBC supports the record type, then you should be able to call it via a prepared SQL statement. If not, you may consider writing a PLSQL accessor to your stored procedure that returns something that can be handled.

i have a class that contains all my MySQL statement and i am trying to use the results found from one of my select statements to pass on into another class which displays the results in a gui form. Here is my query:

Does the user String match the database String
exactly?
Some databases are case sensative.Sorry posted before done.
Also, ensure you do not have trailing spaces in one or both. I remember Oracle had this problem a few years ago using the Type 4 driver but not through ODBC.

Getting value from portal or bsp application to selection screen parameter

                       Is there any possibility of getting value from bsp application and that value to be passed to selection paramater of bw query varaiable.
concept as follows.
                                report is based on vendor related information. particular vendor having user id in bsp or portal for accessing reports. if he selects bw query in portal or bsp dash board. that same vendor name or id shoukd be pass to default vendor selection entry in bi... so only that particular vendor details should display.....

Passing multiple character values from parameter form to PL/SQL

the report query and a PL/SQL procedure. It works fine with the
query, when I use &variable. But, it doesn't compile in PL/SQL,
so I just used the :variable, but not getting any records in the
PL/SQL procedure. Any suggestions?

Only using the &referecne, you can pas a string / multiple character values and this would work for query only.
The bind parameter in PL/SQL wouls support only single value

How to fetch the value of tabular form item in javascript

Hello all
I want to do some calculations on the value entered by the user in the textfield of a tabular form, how can I fetch the value of tabular form item in the javascript?
I am using normal tabular form, not using apex_item tabular form.
I can pass the current textfield value to the function using "this" as a parameter, but how can I fetch the value of other rows of that same column?

I am calling this function onblur event of the textfield.
Still I am having one problem, I want to perform this calculation on load of the page also, how can I do that? because while calling onblur of the textfield I can pass that textfield to this function but on onLoad how I will pass the textfield to call this function so that I will be able to get the textfield value in the function?
there may be some rows already existing, so I want the total of the existing rows to be displayed in my P78_TOTAL textfield that is why I need to do this calculation on onLoad of the page.

How to concatenate values from one form to another form using calculated columns in sharepoint?

Im new to Sharepoint.
I need to know , how to fetch the x1 , x2 values from one form to another form x1, x2 fields, this wants to happen when 2 forms ID fields(Drop down field) are same.
ex:
first module I have 3 fields like, "Marketing ID" , "Company name" , "Vendor name".
second module I have the same related fields like "Marketing ID" , "Company name" , "Vendor name" and some more fields.
now i need to fetch the information from 1st module to 2nd module ( "Company name" , "Vendor name" ) when I select the Marketing Id(Drop down - field)
it should be want to show in Calculated columns.
Can someone make a suggestion on how I can do this.

Calculated Columns can only generate a value from fields of the current item. And only some types of fields (for example, it can't use a lookup column).
Consider using a workflow to accomplish your goal.
