although up untill like 2 weeks ago I use to sync at 8128kbps but it seems that every time I resync it gets a little but lower and then goes back up the next day to this. How can I get it back to what it use to be. I do have a feeling that my bt home hub 2 is on its last legs though as it has fell on the floor numerous times from shelf height! :L
Thanks

Your noise margin is 15, normally it should be 6 at the start of a connection.
I wonder if your default margin has been increased due to a series of reconnects in a short period (lightning storms etc can cause this). If this is the case any new connect you get will always have a noise margin around 15 and that would be the cause of your lost speed since each db in the margin is one less in sync speed.
Only the mods can get the default snr margin reset
