Getting error on include jtfdnbartop.jsp in custom page

We are implementing Oracle iSupport 11.5.10
We have a business requirement for which we require to replace seeded "Item Instances" page (ibuSearchProdMain.jsp), with our own custom page.
We are pretty clear on customizations (changes) required in Item Instances table, as per business requirements.
However we are facing issues while rendering standard ('Browse') menu on left hand side.
We referred some seeded pages which render this standard menu. Also referred some metalink articles.
Based on that, we need to include standard jsp "jtfdnbartop.jsp" in order to render this menu.
When we try to include jtfdnbartop.jsp in our custom jsp, we are getting page error. (The error page just says unexpected error occureed..does not specify the details.)
Are there any pre-requisites before including jtfdnbartop.jsp (like setting pageContext etc.)?
Any prompt help/suggestion is highly appreciated.

4 and 5th parameters are out parameters and 5th parameter provides the approver records and it should have the same data type as ame_util.approversTable2. I have created this table type explicitly in oracle by the name XXXX_APPROVER_TABLE but i am getting the error while running the page "java.sql.SQLException: Fail to construct descriptor: Unable to resolve type: "APPS.ETHR_APPROVER_TABLE"". I requirement is to take the 5th parameter in ame_util.approversTable2 data type.
Please help me urgently.

approversOut out nocopy ame_util.approversTable2);
i need a out variable of type ame_util.approversTable2 so get the values.
I have changed the code and now getting the following error-
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-03115: unsupported network datatype or representation
I have only changed this statement.

Getting error while running test_fwktutorial.jsp

Hi,
Just installed JDeveloper with OA extension(patch# 4141787) on my PC for extending Oralce Apps 11.5.10.1 with OA Framework version 11.5.10.1CU.
Followed the instruction in reade_me file in the patch to install the Jdev. While exectuing the step 6 to run test_fwktutorial.jsp, I am getting the following error in the Embedded OC4J Server. Seems something is wrongly setup.

Getting error while running TestDbcConn.jsp in jdev

Hi,
We are implementing iStore 12.1.3.
In order to create iStore jdev setup, I referred metalink note 1330599.1 (R12: How to Customize and Execute iStore JSPs from Oracle Jdeveloper?).
I followed all the steps exactly as instructed.
However when I run TestDbcConn.jsp, as instructed in step 8, I am getting following error:
JTFDBCFILE=\fnd\secure\
cant read dbc file
Please note that I have downloaded .dbc file from unix server and placed it in "<project_dir>\fnd\secure" directory as instructed in Step 6 of the metalink note.
Any prompt help/suggestion in this regard is appreciated.

This setting needs to be done in Jdeveloper.
Goto Project Properties -> Run/Debug

Get error when checking out jsp file from cvs when Jdev is running in linux

I have JDev 9.0.3 andd CVS running in linux with same build version.
When I check out a project one jsp does not show up in the IDE but shows in the file folder correcly when I edit it thru vi.
I get this error when I try to edit in Jdev.

Hi,
When you are starting service in OS, you are actually starting the maxdb instance service .
You can set it in auto mode so that you will not get this error. The OS service only establishes the connection to SAP.
As a part of CS install, from CSADMIN part it is just required to send the certificate successfully to OAC0.
Normally no activity is required to be done to under SICF from CS install point of view.

Hi,
Make sure that you have in included xsu12.jar in the classpath. 'OracleXMLSQLNoRowsException' class is found in xsu12.jar and is bundled with XDK.

Firefox will not open at all, keep getting error message with last 2 saved web pages on it

Yesterday, I closed Firefox. I had multiple tabs opened, so it asked me if I wanted to save them. I clicked YES and closed Firefox.
I had Google Docs open at the time.
Now, when I open up Firefox, everytime, it tries to load the 2 saved pages, then gives me an error message saying that Windows will try to find the solution to why it can't open.
I cannot use Firefox at all now.
How can I fix this?
I have re-installed Firefox completely and it does not work, it remembers my settings.

Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak and any existing files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js .

Bad version number in .class file indicates a mismatch in Java version used to compile and execute. Check your PATH variable to ensure your not picking up a java binary from somewhere else. This might be occurring if 8.53 uses Java 7, Tuxedo uses Java 6, and you've got the Tuxedo Java being found in the PATH first. I'm just guessing here because I've not looked at what version the 8.53 Tuxedo uses. But I know 8.53 itself users Java 7

I am getting error while running AppsLocalLogin.jsp on Jdeveloper for r11.5.10 rup 7.
I perform following steps to successfully compile (with warnings only) the page.
1. Copy AppsLocalLogin.jsp from OA_HTML to C:\jdev_r11\jdevhome\jdev\myhtml\OA_HTML.
2. Then when I recompile it give me following error
Error: cannot access class oracle.apps.fnd.sso.SSOAccessEnabler; file oracle\apps\fnd\sso\SSOAccessEnabler.class not found
3. So i copy all class files from oracle\apps\fnd\sso to C:\jdev_r11\jdevhome\jdev\myclasses\oracle\apps\fnd\sso
