Getting Error ORA-26786

Hi DBAs,
I have setup streams replication for 12 tables in 10.2.0.4 environments. Now at target site there are some columns where the user can change the data manually. Values of some columns in the destination table row do not match the old values of the corresponding columns. For example table TEST has columns ColA, ColB, ColC and ColD and ColE. User can change some time values in ColD and sometime in ColE. So then I am getting the error.
ORA-26786: A row with key ("ColB") = (4a002832854665a7) exists but has conflicting column(s) "ColE" in table TEST ORA-01403: no data found
I dont want to correct the values first in target tables and then the change should go as there are more than 1000 messeges comming in one LCR. I search over the web and found DML handler can be used for this problem. If someone can point me to the example that would be great. Metalink Artical 265201.1 did not help much how can I have an DML error handler defined.
Thanks
-Samar-

Thank you!
But my question is why its happening?
Why i got async of LCR?
Please Guru help me!
Let me explain steb by stem how i configure streams
1) create standby for primary
DB01 - Primary
DB02 - Standby/Streams
2) create user and tbs
CONNECT SYS/sys@DB01 AS SYSDBA
CREATE TABLESPACE streams_tbs DATAFILE 'd:\Oracle11r2\base\oradata\DB01\streams_tbs.dbf' SIZE 25 M REUSE AUTOEXTEND ON MAXSIZE UNLIMITED;
CREATE USER STRMADMIN IDENTIFIED BY sys DEFAULT TABLESPACE streams_tbs QUOTA UNLIMITED ON streams_tbs;

ALTER system SET GLOBAL_NAMES=TRUE scope=spfile;
ALTER system SET STREAMS_POOL_SIZE=50M scope=spfile;
alter system set GLOBAL_NAMES=TRUE scope=spfile;
3) create capture and propogantion on primary, set SCN
CONNECT strmadmin/sys@DB01
CREATE DATABASE LINK DB02 CONNECT TO strmadmin IDENTIFIED BY sys USING 'DB02';
exec dbms_streams_adm.set_up_queue(queue_table => 'CAPTURE_DB01',queue_name => 'CAPTURE_DB01',queue_user => 'strmadmin');

4) activate standby
CONNECT SYS/SYSPWD@DB02 AS SYSDBA
ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE CANCEL;
ALTER DATABASE ACTIVATE STANDBY DATABASE;

  • Oracle Streams - Error ORA-26786,ORA-26787

    Good day to all,
    I wish someone can help me in Oracle Streams, scoring to identify the following error in the Target with dba_apply_error:
    ORA-26786: A row with key ("RECKEY") = (1) exists But you have conflicting column (s) "ULT_NRO" in table PROD2.NUM_TRANSACCIONES
    ORA-01403: no data found
    This makes many of my tables in the destination are desynchronized. Moreover also I have cases where I get the ORA-26787 which has the following definition:
    ORA-26787: "The row with key% s does not exist in table% s"
    The BD I have in the Source is a 11gR2 EE and target is 11g R2 Edition One is only pasive and the source database is active.
    Hopefully I can help me,
    I hope your comments.
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    Well, I have to tell you I tried implmentar the Streams with parallelism 1, however I keep getting the same error.
    ORA-26787: The row with key ("ANO", "CAPITAL_AMORTIZADO", "CAPITAL_APROBADO", "CAPITAL_DESEMBOLSADO", "CAPITAL_VENCIDO", "CREDITO", "CUOTAS_ATRAZADAS", "DIAS_MOROSIDAD_HOY", "DIAS_MOROSIDAD_PROY", "FECHA_ULTIMA_CAP", "FECHA_ULT_MOV", "FECHA_VENCIMIENTO", "FLAG_ESTADO_ANT", "FLAG_ESTADO_CRED", "GARANTIA_CANT", "GASTO_COBRANZA", "ID_AGENCIA", "INTERES_ACUM", "INTERES_COMP_PROY", "INTERES_MOR_PROY", "INTERES_PROY", "MES", "NRO_PROCESO", "OTRO_CARGO", "PAGO_INTERES", "PRODUCTO", "SALDO_GARANTIA", "SECTORISTA", "TASA") = (2012, 857508.04, 45000, 858078.39, 570.35, 2002000321, 1, 2858, 2880, 2004-04-13:00:00:00, 2004-04-13:00:00:00, 2004-01-14:00:00:00, 1, 7, , 230, 0002, 0, 4481.53, 651.6, 0, 2, 1, 0, 13144.13, 268 , 0, dfigue, 31.37) does not exist in table PROD2.CREDITO_SALDO_PRYCTDO
    ORA-01403: no data found
    ORA-26786: A row with key ("ITEM") = (2) exists but has conflicting column(s) "FCHA_ULT_PROC", "FLAG_PRCSO", "HORA_FIN", "HORA_INI" in table PROD2.CIE_PROYCCION_PRVSION
    ORA-01403: no data found
    It's good to tell you also that once the error occurs, I proceed to stop the apply, then to erase the mistakes and finally start the application in the destination, and thus gradually disappear errors and re-based sincornizar destination data, however this is constant.
    Is due to some configuration I'm missing?
    Thanks for your opinions.
    Regards.

  • Uploading a CSV file and getting Error ORA-01403: no data found in V4.1.1.

    I have an issue where myself and another user are unable to upload a csv file to my application using the "File Browse" page item in V4.1.1. I get the following error, "Error ORA-01403: no data found".
    This function was working perfectly last week prior to the upgrade of our APEX to V4.1.1 from V3. Other users are still able to upload the csv file, so the PL/SQL behind it must be ok.
    So here is where I am up to with testing.
    Tested the upload using my login on my PC – Fail
    Tested the upload using my login on another PC – Fail
    Tested the upload using other user’s login on my PC – Success
    Tested the upload using other user’s login on another PC - Success
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Greg

    The offending piece of code was in a block of script that I used from an online sample when I was first setting up this upload script. A colleague had the same issue in another application and rewrote the script to resolve the issue, see below.
    I'm still perplexed as to why the majority of users could run it ok, and there were only 2 of us that it errored on. But now it's working for all, and I can go back to building some cool stuff in V4.1.1.00.23.

  • Using DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL get error: ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis

    Hi,
    I'm trying to extract schema DDL from a database (10.2.0.4.0 - 64bit Enterprise Edition on Solaris 10). I run the query below and get an ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis error.
    SELECT DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL( REPLACE(object_type,' ','_') AS object_type, object_name) FROM user_objects WHERE object_type NOT IN ('TABLE_PARTITION','INDEX_PARTITION','LOB');
    This is the output when running the above in sqlplus worksheet
    select DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL( REPLACE(object_type,' ','_') as object_type, object_name) FROM user_objects where object_type not in ('TABLE_PARTITION','INDEX_PARTITION','LOB')
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis
    removing the where clause gives the following:
    select DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL( REPLACE(object_type,' ','_') as object_type, object_name) FROM user_objects
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00907: missing right parenthesis
    Any pointers would be gratefully received. I know I could get the DDL out using exp/imp but I want to understand why I'm getting the missing parenthesis error.
    cheers,
    Ewan

    SELECT DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL( REPLACE(object_type,' ','_') AS object_type, object_name) FROM user_objects WHERE object_type NOT IN You don't need an alias here. Get rid of " AS object_type" and it should work.

  • Discoverer 3.1.25: getting error ORA-06550 when scheduling report

    Hello,
    we are still using the Discoverer version 3 (release 3.1.25). I know that this version is out of support, but that doesn't harm use from using it...
    The Discoverer has been working fine for the last couple years. At the beginning of every month the same already defined reports are getting generated. But with the beginning of the year 2010 we are getting the error:
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 93:
    PLS-00201: identifier 'EUL$BATCH_PACKAGE0100112082923.RUN' must be declared
    ORA-06550: line 1, column 93:
    PL/SQL: Statement ignored
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_JOB" line 79
    The numbers "0100112082923" after the identifier "EUL$BATCH_PACKAGE" specify the date and time:
    082923: 08 hour, 29 minutes, 23 seconds
    0100112: 010 year, 01 month, 12 day
    The reason of that error is that the mentioned Package/Packagebody EUL$BATCH_PACKAGE*0*100112082923 doesn't exist in the database. But as a matter of fact the Package/Packagebody 'EUL$BATCH_PACKAGE100112082923 does exist. The Discoverer creates the Package/Packagebody without the "0" after the identifier "EUL$BATCH_PACKAGE" in the database, but wants to use the Package/Packagebody with the "0" after the identifier "EUL$BATCH_PACKAGE". Seems like a bug to me - does anybody have the same problem?
    Until the year 2009 the year was specified with just two digits (09) - now the year seems to get specified with 3 digits (010) - but in the database just two digits are used. Is there any property table or button where this gets defined?
    Any help will be appreciated!

    Seems like if I have found the bug by myself...
    In the procedure SubmitJob(...) of the package EUL$BATCH_REPOSITORY the name of the scheduled procedure gets generated with the hardcoded string
    "EUL$BATCH_PACKAGE0". The zero after "PACKAGE" is only correct when the year ends with one digit (e.g. 2001, 2002, ..., 2009). When shortening the
    string to "EUL$BATCH_PACKAGE" everything works fine again...

    removed after desc in the last line so now this query will run and throw an error.

    Clearly your error is because the string concatenation you are doing with sys_connect_by_path is exceeding the 4000 bytes permitted by SQL.
    In that case you need to concatenate your data into a CLOB datatype, for which you'll need a CLOB aggregation function...
    create or replace type clobagg_type as object
      text clob,
      static function ODCIAggregateInitialize(sctx in out clobagg_type) return number,
      member function ODCIAggregateIterate(self in out clobagg_type, value in clob) return number,
      member function ODCIAggregateTerminate(self in clobagg_type, returnvalue out clob, flags in number) return number,
      member function ODCIAggregateMerge(self in out clobagg_type, ctx2 in clobagg_type) return number
    create or replace type body clobagg_type is
      static function ODCIAggregateInitialize(sctx in out clobagg_type) return number is
      begin
        sctx := clobagg_type(null) ;

  • Getting error ora-01000 maximum open cursors exceeded

    hello,
    i am building my fist application using eclipse3.3 hibernate 3.2(hybernatesynchronizer as plugin)
    i have a oracle9i like sgbd . when i trying to create my mapping file from eclipse i got this error :
    ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded
    i try to increase the number of cursor from the oracleconfiguration file init.ora, i shutdown but the problem still
    i don t know how to solve this problem really.
    i need help.

    Yes, that it what I was asking about.Not that it matters, but I think you misunderstood. I meant "if you ask it to leak resources then it will do so." I wasn't asking what you meant.
    Is there a way to make it explicitly open and close via a single call? Perhaps a configuration option either globably or by method/class?Not as a standard part of Hibernate, no. That said, it's relatively hard to leak anything other than connection objects unless you're really trying hard. There are libraries that you can use to manage the lifetime of the connection (actually the session) object. I like the Spring DAO support classes. Inevitably they cause their own problems for someone who doesn't understand what Hibernate's up to under the covers though.
    Edit: Quick example
    // Bog standard Hibernate
    Session session = sessionFactory.openSession();
    try {
       return (List<Foo>)session.createQuery("from Foo").list();
    } finally {
       session.close(); // If omitted will leak a connection object
    // Using Spring
    return (List<Foo>)getHibernateTemplate().find("from Foo");Things get slightly more interesting if you're using lazy loading and actively want to keep the connection around for longer.

  • Join the same view using 2 different conditions, getting error ORA-00918

    Hi, I am trying to do a full outer join using the same view with different where conditions. Sample code below. I am getting the error "ORA-00918: column ambiguously defined". I have used as much alias as I can on the select statements but it gives me the same error.
    The weird thing is, RIGHT OUTER JOIN and LEFT OUTER JOIN will work fine. Only FULL OUTER gives the error above.
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    SELECT firsttable.<column_name>, secondtable.<columnname>
