Hi Experts . My Discoverer environment is 10g(9.0.4) .
when me and end users are trying to open scheduled workbooks . getting a java error . the error is
"Error unmarshaling return : nested exception is : java.io.invalidclassexception:org.omg.COBRA.completionstatus: local class not compatible :stream classdesc serial version UID = -9047319660881406859 local class serial version UID = -645279251430243097"
Plaease let me know what happened to this . untill now it is perfectly fine .

Hi,
I am getting one error while opening the workbook.
Error: The Dependency "Join condition" is not found in EUL.
Basically, the workbook was working fine. But we droped some joins and recreated new joins. After this change, our worknbooks starts giving this error.
Please advice.
Where i can get the dependency information in EUL?

This has to be one of the most 'pain in the butt' errors you can get (well ... 0000 - normal successful completion is another).
Although I've seen this one for years, these days I'm finding many more examples that are happening to me with this (simply the environment I'm in) and in many cases, requires rebuilding the workbook again. For example, sometimes I put in the join that I think it's having a problem with, but the existing workbook simply won't run. Recreating the workbook exactly the same gets it to work properly. Maybe it's a 4.x thing (version I'm on these days) ... but just a warning that you may well have to rebuild.

1) When a query administrator with the sufficient authorization (sap_all or the * authorization for the field in the authorization object) is creating the query in query designer including the 'attributes' which are not visible with the 'normal' authorizations, the query will not list the columns in the output when it is executed by the normal user.
2) so create an authorization object for each of these attributes with * (full authorization)

I have recently installed Hyperion 11.1.2.2(Foundation Services and Interactive Reporting) in our environment.
The installation and configuration are successful. Also when I ran a sample BQY it works fine.
If I try to run the sample programs on the Hyperion server in their actual location, they work fine.
I am having problem setting up the SDK remotely and run the sample program.
I am getting the following error when trying to run the sample Login.java provided in /EPMSystem11R1/products/biplus/SDK/samples/java/
Unable to setup SDK for Hyperion 11.1.2.2 remotely

Getting correlation error while opening document library in SharePoint 2010

Hi,
I installed SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 and SharePoint 2010 on Windows Server 2008 R2. Everything went fine for first days. Now I am getting error while opening any of the document libraries. However lists are opening fine.
Error:
An unexpected error has occured.
Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation

I checked the logs, I showing some error with the line http://Microsoft.Office.Server.UserProfiles/GetProfileProperties

Getting Java error While click on Test model for New configuration.

From ” Configurator Administrator responsibility” we use the below link and getting Java Error:
Log in -> Configurator Administrator responsibility -> Configurator Developer -> Simple Search -> Item Name: r100s -> Click Edit -> Click Test Model -> select Start New Configuration -> Click Next -> select Model UI -> Click Finish -> get java.lang.NullPointerException.

Error while opening an workbook

I have done some changes to a query and transported Query as well as Work book to production. When i open the work book I get the below error and gets disconnected form BW
<internal Error > Receiving from theBW server failed
BW server raised exception :SYSTEM FAILURE
I GET THIS ERROR ONLY WHEN I OPEN THE WORK BOOK , BUT WHEN I OPEN THE QUERY IT WORKS FINE

I have a condition on the base query. The requirement was the user wanted a Selection option range on Key figure, so i had to create a condition with two variable (To and from). And also if I enter some value in the variables my workbook opens fine if i leave the condition variables empty i get the error and disconnects from the server. Please advice how to overcome this error
PS: recently the system is upgraded from 3.5 to BI7.

We are loading XML file using our plugin. After opening Indesign documents (Created using the same XML), we have refreshed the tree(using our plugin option). We are getting the below mentioned asserts,
1. Direct model change to database without transaction. Either process a command or call a utility or facade interface that does what you want, or implement your own cmd if none exist. Generally, DON'T just call IDataBase::BeginTransaction()/EndTransaction.
2. Comparing translated string to non-translated string!(Strings are '\\New Technology\37_NATURE2.jpg' and '\'

Critical program error while opening some workbook

That hotfix can run only to the 640, even we have the same problem over here. Actually you should not upgarde the front end patch if you want to install. But that hot fix might run or may not run, you may get issues later with the GUI..
All these probles will cause becoz of frontend patch... If you are at patch 27 then you need to unistall and come back to the same patch level as your colleague has... actually i dont know how to unistall that patch.. Or else try out with frontend patch 28...

note1 : i can make connection to my database from the same machine which is running my OAS & developer server (my_app_server) using my connect string (test) which is defined in tnsnames.ora file on the database server and also on the server (my_app_server).
note2 : i have set all the registry setting and define all my virtual pathes for the OAS as listed on the instructions for installing and running the demo comming with the oracle developer server.
note3 : when running this web using netscape navigator 4.05 i got another diffrent message as follow :
"applet oracle.forms.engine.main can't start: class oracle/forms/engine/main got a security violation: method verification error"
please i need your help.

I get an error while opening the NWDS

I get following error
Problems during startup. Check the .log file inthe .metadata directory of your workspace.
Is it because too many projects are open on my workspace ? Should I delete the files, which files should i remove from the workspace

I deleted the .metadata file and opened the nwds again. But it gave the same error
.metadata file has got created in workspace folder.
there is a notepad file in it and it has folowing info. Should I try to derive something out of it ?

First, I suggest you download
Microsoft Safety Scanner or
Malicious Software Removal Tool to run a full scan.
The error messages here seems to be caused by the corrupted registries, which related with the folder association.
You may take a try to merge the following registry settings to reset the folder association, before that, remember to backup your registry settings first:
