Getting "JTA transaction is not present" error while updating db table.

Hi All,
In one of my BPEL process, In a loop, I am updating value of database column Flag from 0 to 1. It was working fine in dev environment, but failed in Prod with below errors, Can Any one suggest on this.
There is a system exception while performing the BPEL instance, the reason is "JTA transaction is not present or the transaction is not in active state. The current JTA transaction is not present or it is not in active state when processing activity or instance "1020112-BpInv7-BpSeq14.87-2". The reason is The execution of this instance "1020112-BpInv7-BpSeq14.87-2" for process "UpdateOrderReqABCS" is supposed to be in a jta transaction, but the transaction is not present or in active state, please turn on the application server transaction debug logs to get more information.. Please consult your administrator regarding this error. ". Please check the error log file for more infromation. Please try to use bpel fault handlers to catch the faults in your bpel process. If this is a system exception, please report this to your system administrator. Administrator could perform manual recovery of the instance from last non-idempotent activity or dehydration point.

I can envisage this happening only in a case where the update is taking a longer time than the value of JTA transaction timeout.
Is this happening for all BPEL instances or some of them get thru succesfully ?
Are you EVER updating that particular row of your table ( before/after) ?

I am trying to execute an asynchronous bpel process. the bpel process has 5 OSB calls and is taking approximately 100 seconds for completion. The OSB calls in the BPEL are taking 90 seconds for completion. In the end of the BPEL process, after completion I get the following error:

[2010/07/22 01:56:44] There is a system exception while performing the BPEL instance, the reason is "JTA transaction is not present or the transaction is not in active state. The reason is The execution of this instance "1220007" for process "BPELProcess1" is supposed to be in a jta transaction, but the transaction is not present or in active state, please turn on the application server transaction debug logs to get more information.. Please consult your administrator regarding this error. ". Please check the error log file for more infromation. Please try to use bpel fault handlers to catch the faults in your bpel process. If this is a system exception, please report this to your system administrator. Administrator could perform manual recovery of the instance from last non-idempotent activity or dehydration point.
We do not want to increase the transaction-timeout properties in the server in the Transaction-manager.xml or in the orion-ejb-jar.xml since we have other projects with synchronous processes running in the same server.
Can anybody please suggest a workaround to overcome this issue apart from increasing the transaction-timeout?

As Sridhar suggested for your problem you have to set transaction-time out in j2ee/home/config/transaction-manager.xml.
If you use Idempotent as false for your partnerlinks, BPEL PM will store the status till that invoke(Proof that this invoke gets executed).
So better to go for increasing the time instead of going for idempotent as it has some side effects.
And coming to dehydration ....Ideally performance will be more if there are no much dehydration poitns in our process. But for some scenarios it is better to have dehydration(ex: we can know the status of the process...etc)
Dehydration store will not get cleared after completion of the process. Here dehydration means ....it will store these dtails in tables(like Cube_instance,cube_scope...etc).

CPIC-CALL Transaction program not registered Error while creating RFC Desti

Hi All,
I am trying to create a new RFC Destination.
Details I have provided are..
1.RFC Destination Name
2.Connection Type - TCP/IP
3.Description
4. Activation Type - Registered Server Program.
5.Program Id.
6. Gateway Host and Gateway Service.
But When I Test the connection, I am getting the following error.
<b>" program xyz not registered / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPECMINIT'# Transaction program not registered"</b>
However I was able to create and connect RFC Destinations successfully previously.
I am not SAP guy. Could someone help resolve this issue.

I am trying to replicate the customer from CRM to R/3 and i get a bdoc message in SMW01 that "RFC connection failed please press the save button again". When the basis team further investigated they came up with the below error..

Error while updating JDBD table

Am getting the error at the receiver JDBC CC. I have checked the conceren mapping also . i t is working under test tab.
Error while parsing or executing XML-SQL document: Error processing request in sax parser: Error when executing statement for table/stored proc. 'SAP_STG_AP_SAP_REF' (structure 'Statement'): com.sybase.jdbc3.jdbc.SybSQLException: Attempt to insert duplicate key row in object 'SAP_STG_AP_SAP_REF' with unique index 'SAP_STG_AP_SAP_REF_IX1'

ya issue is while updating the jdbc table ..duplicate entries are coming...I have check the maping xml also with the same data..I think I need to change the mapping -to remove the duplicate (entry in that field) using some function. Any idea which will be the function?? + please let me know how to find out which field is the error refering to in the jdbc table-- with unique index 'SAP_STG_AP_SAP_REF_IX1'
In my scenario Action is INSERT. At the mapping output, there are some entries (5-6 ACCESS) where all the fields under the ACCESS are similar

When we are doing new entries into the table: DBDIFFVIEW, the error:
" Fill table key for table DBDIFFINFO only up to position 040 only " is coming.
Since updating the table at DB level directly is not advisable, please advise to correct the above error.

Error while updating spatial table

Hi,
When i try to update a spatial table with the following syntax i get the below error,

Initially, I tried to run with value of $value_code as "AACL", the code worked.
But when I tried to insert value of code as "AACL - ALKYL AMINES CHEMICALS LIMITED"
I got following error:
Exception calling "UpdateLookupTables" with "4" argument(s): "Response is not well-formed XML."
I could not understand why this error is appearing as I just added ' - ' to my code value. I checked for validity of ' - 'in the targeted column. No issue with that.

I have also had the same problem with my Win 7 32 bit computer. I had great help from Apple techs in Montreal and Orlando for 2.5 hours. They helped me remove every trace of Apple products and clean the registry in two different ways. Each install gave the same problem! If Apple techs can't fix it (on some of our machines) then we are really in trouble. They promised to raise it with the "engineers" and get back to me with a solution. I am waiting and hoping. Otherwise maybe version 11.1.5 will have a fix ??

                 my client want to use Extended withholidng Tax . i v configured totaly according to indian TDS configuration. i m getting error while updating the vendor challan.
             No unpaid tax lines exist for the given selection criteria.
Message no. 8I702
Diagnosis
The corresponding withholding tax line &1& is not present in WITH_ITEM table.
System Response
For withholding tax recovered from the vendor, tax line is present in table BSIS, but the corresponding entry is missing in table WITH_ITEM , which is necessary for challan updation. Check the entries.
Procedure
check entries in table WITH_ITEM for the open tax items chosen for clearing.
    Business Place and section code updating properly in table.....

Class not found error while accessing a Web Service

Hi All,
Im getting a Class not found error while doing method calls of a third party API.
The required jars(axis.jar) are set in the weblogic 8.1 classpath and I tried putting those jars(axis.jar) in my application lib folder also, but dint help. Please help me with a solution.

operation not found error while calling AM methods from managed bean.
written a method with two parameters in AM.
exposed the method in AM client interface
in the page bindings added the method in method action ..left empty in the value fields of the parameters.
calling the method from managed bean like below

I go through the all necessary steps to configure app domain & steps to create SharePoint hosted app still got 'page not found error'

According to your post, my understanding is that you get the “page not found” error while you open install app.
You need to have a SharePoint Web Application that is bonded to port 80 without a host header.
If you want to run it on https (SSL) then you also need to add an extra binding for SharePoint Hosted Apps to work.
