Thanks in Advance.

Instead of using java command in your batch file, change it to use javaw instead.

Can I get rid of a windows partition on a MacBook running 10.4.11 without having bootcamp or bootcamp beta? If so, how?

Yes, I think so, as would Snow Leopard probably. If your computer meets the requirements it would only cost $29 to buy Snow Leopard versus $129 for Leopard.
    Snow Leopard General requirements
Mac computer with an Intel processor
    1GB of memory
    5GB of available disk space
    DVD drive for installation
Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply.
Some features require Apple’s MobileMe service; fees and terms apply.
    Leopard System requirements
You must have a Macintosh computer with:
an Intel processor or a PowerPC G4 (867 MHz or faster) or G5 processor
    a DVD drive >built-in FireWire
at least 512 MB of RAM (additional RAM is recommended for development purposes)
a built-in display or a display connected to an Apple-supplied video card supported by your computer
at least 9 GB of disk space available, or 12 GB of disk space if you install the developer tools

How to get rid of a window which says: CalendarAgent wants to use the "login" keychain

I would get free EasyFind (Spotlight will be a total waste of time), and search for caremefile and caremefile.info. If it comes up with anything, right-click and select move to trash, or just destroy. Since you didn't install anything, shouldn't be necessary to authenticate with the admin password before it will move to trash. Could also click on reveal in finder, which will allow you to see the actual location. Set it up as per the screenshot below.

There is screen information of Airplay popping up on the screen every second minute. It's stating: 1. Network Configuration: Connect to wifi network 2. Choose this Apple TV. However wifi is already connected and this apple tv has been chosen. How do I get rid of this window as everything is working already fine and everything is connected. Airplay and wifi are working already.

Had this happen to me after a recent update, was super annoying.  To turn off, go to Settings > AirPlay > Conference Room Display > Off.

    Hi user,
I'm not 100% sure but you could check whether af:document uncommittedDataWarning property is set to true. If so, try setting it to false.
    Hope it helps

  • Printer is connected. How to get rid of installation window upon boot-up?

I have an Officejet 4500; successfully connected to desktop (Windows Ultimate Vista OP). However, had a problem when connecting to laptop (Windows XP). When getting to configuration step, had a fatal error.  Folllowing instructions in auto-dowloaded "HP Installation Error - XP" application, subsequently, downloaded drivers, utlities, etc.  Finally was able to print off of laptop. However, everytime I boot up computer now, an installation window auto-appears with a Fatal Error message, then it runs through all the installation steps again, stalls at the configuration step, then I have to click a Finish button to  finish an "uninstall" (which it does not do, the printer is still installed).  So, to continue using the computer, I have to click the Cancel button in the middle of the "install" operation, use the computer for other things I need to do, then I can't shut down until it completes its "Uninstall" process again.  The printer is connected...HOW do I get rid of the install window that auto-appears when I boot up? (There is NO "Close" button or icon.)

  • DOS Window in Java Container

If anybody knows how, I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to present an Interactive DOS window in a JAVA SWING container.

The escape code approach would only work on DOS windows that are processing ANSI escape sequences. This is something people used to enable all the time back in the pre-Windows days, since it was the only way to do things like clearing screens, setting colours, drawing menus out of text characters, etc. Ansi.sys still exists, at least on Win98 (not sure about NT, 2000, etc.). If you troll through the Microsoft web site or hunt down old books on DOS, you'll be able to find out how to set it up and use it.

  • Clearing the DOS Window in Java

    hi
I want to clear the dos screen using java.
I saw 2 solutions on the net(given below) , but both did not work. Can someone advise how I can go about doing this ? I'm
    working on Windows2000.
    Thanks in advance.

    1. char esc = 27; // ESC code
    String clear = esc + "[2J" // note case
System.out.print(clear); // Dos screen should be cleared
    2. Runtime.getRuntime().exec( "cmd.exe /c cls" ) ;

  • When starting up my computer, I get a window that says - apple sync notifier.exe - entry point not found.  how can i get rid of this window?

When I start up my computer,  I get a window that pops up that says  *  AppleSyncNotifier.exe - entry point not found.  it also says    the procedure entry point xmltextreadername could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2 .dll.   .  What does this mean and how can I get rid of it?

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
    1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
    3. Now paste it in the folder  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
    4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.
    Good Luck

  • How  to get rid of reopen window box on shutdown

I want to have my Mac default to not opening windows previously opened and I want to get rid of the anoying default "reopen windows" box when I shut down. How do I do this?

A permanent replacement for the "Reopen windows when logging back in" checkbox is as follows:
    1. Close all apps you don't want to open at startup.
    2. Open your user Library folder. It is normally invisible, so press the Option key while selecting the "Go" menu in the Finder then select "Library" to open it.
    3. Use the Get Info dialog "Locked" checkbox to lock this plist:
    ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.loginwindow.*.plist
where "~" is your home folder and "*" is a sequence of characters (12 in my case). No need to lock the corresponding lockfile.
This plist is where the System stores "reopen windows" info, so the System can't change/delete it if it is locked. This won't change the "Reopen windows..." checkbox setting, but that setting will no longer have any effect.

  • Get rid of 'export' window

i had a subscription to the export product for 1 year. i don't need it anymore, i have not renewed, but it's column continues to open in all my .pdf documents. it's taking up half my screen, please tell me how to get rid of it. thank you

The "Mobile Link" feature associated with the updated Acrobat Reader XI can be turned off.
Launch Adobe Reader XI. Click the "Open" button.
In the dialog presented observe the Off / ON "switch" located in the upper right.
    Click on "OFF".
What this feature does is give you immediate access to your "Files" zone up at
    https://cloud.acrobat.com/
That is 5GB of free space for parking files of a support file format (PDF is, of course, one of these).
You can obtain a "share link" from your Files account and share it via email or via a post to a forum.
    Be well...

  • How to get rid of "mobilme" window?

Every time I start iWeb, I get a box pop up asking me to "try MobileMe" for free. How can I turn this off? There doesn't seem to be anything in the preferences to get rid of it. After having paid for the software, it's annoying to have an "ad" pop up every time I use it, with no clear way of telling it I don't wish to see it any more.
How do I get rid of it?

There's two ways you can try getting rid of that popup box:
    1 - get a MME account.
    2 - try the following:
Go to your Library / Preferences
Open com.apple.iWeb.plist and set the value of dismissDotMacUpsellWindow to true (checkbox checked). You can use the freeware Pref Setter to edit the iWeb preference file.

  • How can I get rid of the alert about java during startup?

I am currently on OS X LION 10.7.2 and everytime I start my MacAir(2010 version), there's this flash of a popup that goes away too quickly. I was able to read the first few words and it states "Do you want to.....Java.....?" SO it's something about Java. I've manually installed it in my MacAir already but it still pops up and goes away. It's kind of annoying. Help???

    Hi nur.dta,
You can check to see if it's enabled in start-up options. Go into System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items
You can see if it is in there and remove it. You'll need to authenticate prior to removing it.

  • How do I get rid of Registration Window preventing access to Acrobat?

On removing Acrobat XI and re-installing Acrobat 11.0.0, entering my serial number, and updating to 11.0.08, I get a registration window ("Register Your Product") that (1) Pops up anew when you click on "Cancel", (2) Goes away if you click on the corner "x" and select "Quit", but that does NOT bring up Acrobat, (3) If you attempt to register with it, its Sign-In window says your Adobe ID and password do not match (even though you can then go to the Adobe website and sign in with them) and if you go the new-password route, getting the email from Adobe and entering a new password, the new password gives the same message, that your Adobe ID and the new password do not match (even though with this new password, also, you can then go to the Adobe website and sign in with it)!!!!
WinXP SP3.  This started with 11.0.08 which Secunia PSI had me upgrade to 11.0.09 which gave one error window after another ("Reader (sic) must close" - although the detail showed it was the Acrobat .exe that was having the problem) and which I could not stop except to uninstall Acrobat.  I went to the Adobe Acrobat Upgrade Versions page and as 11.0.10 had just come on (I figured, "Oh, Adobe has found and solved the problem") so I reinstalled 11.0.0, entered my serial number and upgraded to 11.0.10.  Again I got one error message after another (different message - not recalled).  So I uninstalled, reinstalled 11.0.0, entered the serial number, updated to 11.0.08 (which Secunia PSI said was the version I started with) and got the above Registration Window from Hell.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

The case of differing number, that did have text in it and referred to this Forum post, was established 4 days ago.  I checked it and opened it every day, but there was absolutely no response from Adobe.  During all this time it was labeled as "Open.  Waiting for Adobe Response".  Today it was labeled "Withdrawn" and contained an explanation from Adobe that it was Withdrawn by them because there was no response from me, and this despite that fact that the case still contained absolutely no response from Adobe to the initial post, much less one that I was expected to respond to.  Also today I noticed that my store account no longer contained my downloadable Acrobat Pro XI purchased in Oct. 2013.  It was there (although the 11.0.07 version instead of the original 11.0.0 version) 10 days ago on the 10th when I downloaded it in case my original was somehow corrupted.  The Adobe website, observed  today, answers, to the question, "How long is my download available?", "Software downloads remain in your account for three years after the date of purchase. Adobe reserves the right to change this policy at any time with or without notice."
To carry on my own attempts to get access to my purchased, downloaded and used (for over a year) Acrobat Pro XI:  In my original post the error message immediately after the initial update "Reader (sic) must close" _did_, I now realize, refer to Adobe Reader as it referred to AcroRd32.exe which is Reader, not Acrobat.  The continuous flow of error messages involving Reader (which was installed on my computer) when I was only trying to use Acrobat made me think the problem was due to some kind of coupling between the two.  So I uninstalled both and used the most recent CCleaner to clean the Registry.  I reinstalled Acrobat (the 11.0.07 version downloaded from the Adobe Store 10 days ago) and the Registration Window from Hell was again present and functioned in all ways just as before.  So I uninstalled Acrobat, Reader, and _all_ things Adobe, used CCleaner to clean the registry again and installed, this time, my original download from Oct. 2013, the 11.0.0 version of Acrobat Pro XI.  The Registration Window from Hell (RWH) was again present and functioned in all ways just as before.  It appears that the RWH is going out on the internet and there is returning to it, apparently from Adobe, the condition that, for my purchased Acrobat Pro XI, the Adobe ID and Password do not match when that is an obvious error as explained above.
So I will have to work with PDF files from now on without my purchased Acrobat XI Pro software which I used very successfully for over a year, and Adobe, apparently, could care less.
