Getting the time interval of a mouse being pressed

I am developing an image scrolling application .And i have a JButton to scroll the image . The problem is that i need to scroll the image proportional to the time the user presses the button.
How can i do it ?

I did it in a way which i am not sure to be apprpriate. I started a thread (defined in an innerclass) in the mouse pressed event of the button and stopped the thread in the mousereleased event .
Any body with a different elegant idea kindly make me aware of it.
Any one facing the same issue may try this method and give me a feedback

I hav a scenario where i hav to write a flat file (XXX.txt) to a location. b4 doing that, i hav to check whether XXX.txt already exists or not. If it doesn't exists then i hav to write the XXX.txt file there. if it already exists, then i hav to wait until that xxx.txt file gets deleted.
In the receiver file adapter v hav an option file construction mode = create which does the same thing. but the problem here is it is taking too long (more than 5 min) which is not at all acceptable in my case (it is ok if it takes 1 min).
Is there any way to reduce the time interval using the same option?
Or do we hav any work around solution for acheiving the same scenario?
any help wud b appreciated.

As far as my knowledge goes I think it is not possible because we are not going to do anything from our end. XI is doing processing and creating a file for you. But you might be sending a large file at a time. So you have to improve the performance in your scenario. You check this urls on how to improve performance in XI:

hello everyone i am a new user .I want to get the time and voltge form a Generater. How can i get the time and result together show in one Array or in Cluster?When i selecte the first(or third...) result then in the front panel display the time and the voltge.Thank you!

You can create an array of clusters with one element being the time and the other being the voltage, like so (using the "Get Waveform Components" function):

How to write a query to get the time difference of two varchar type time columns

Storing time alone as VARCHAR2 value is a incorrect design. Always store it as DATE or TIMESTAMP.
If you already have a messed up design and cant change it, then you need to convert your VARCHAR2 time into a DATE or TIMESTAMP and find the difference. I have converted it to TIMESTAMP and obtained the difference as INTERVAL.

Trying to get the time of analysis for tables in SAP

Hi all,
I'm using the update statistics command on some tables in my database.
The num_rows attribute in the user_tables is updated after that but the last_analyzed attribute is not updated correctly.
Does anyone know how ? or maybe a different way to get the time the table was analyzed ?

You can, but how are you going to back up those other files? When (not if) your Time Capsule fails, you risk losing them. See #Q3 in Using Time Machine with a Time Capsule for details.

Not sure what you mean. You have to connect a computer, either via Ethernet cable or wirelessly, to read or write to the disk.

Getting the time of a particular keyframe

I took a look at the Scripting Guide, but after a cursory search + read couldn't find the answer to my question there, so I thought I would reach out here. How can I get the time value for a keyframe in any given property? I know I can iterate through keys using the .numKeys value, but what is the code to use in order to retrieve the time of the key while iterating.
Here's some pseudo code for how I'm thinking about it:
numPosKeys = lyr.transform.position.numKeys;
for (var i=1; i <= numPosKeys; i++)
timeOfKey = {//not sure how to do this, or if it is possible};
//do something with timeOfKey

How to set the time interval for data obtain through labview via write measureme

I'm need to programme to obtain data from oscilloscope. Currently my laptop able to communicate with Agilent DSO6014A oscilloscope via USB. I'm include the write measurement in mty program and save the data in .lvm file. But the time interval in the data are too small which is in micron seconds. Is there a way to modify the interval values?
