GL Account Report with Customer Analysis

Hi..
Is there a straight forward way of producing a list by GL Account, which provides the Customer No posted to in the same Document?
For example
Doc No 1234567890
01 Customer 999 £500
50 GL 12345
Executing a search on GL 12345 would therefore output with Customer analysis and the Customer 999 will be inlcluded.
Thanks......

Hi,
Go to Customer line item display fbl5n and execute the report
once executed select change lay out from that select G.L account. it will display
If it is not sufficient
same report take document no
Fb03 enter document number it will display dr and cr with posting keys
If it is usefull please assign points
Thanks

  • Report with custom layout - formatting conditions

    Hi,
There's a report with custom layout. What I need is to format some cells depending on the data they contain(like different background color). There's a tab named "Formatting Conditions" which should be meant for doing this and it works perfectly when report has tabular layout. But nothing happens in case of custom layout. Should this be done then in the "Report Layout Editor" and with Javascript? Portal version is 3.0.9.8.0.
    Thanks in advance,
    Madis

    Hi,
Some condtions like background color do not work in custom mode reports. This is because in case of custom reports the table html is specified by the user and the report renderer has no control over it.
    Hope this helps.

  • Line item report with Customer number

    Hi all,
I am facing the following issue:
I need a line item report to analyze an accrual account by customer.
Since the customer is not captured on the accrual account itself, but on the recon. account (which is not defined as line item display), I did not find a way to present the customer and the accrual  on the same line.
I can always go to BSEG and vlookup and match by document number the accrual account and the customers from the customer recon. account, but I thought maybe someone has a better idea.
    Thanks,
    Yoel.

If the recon account line items have al lthe info needed I'd suggest using a query (SQ01).
    1. Create an Infoset in SQ02 with logical database "BRM". Choose the fields from BSEG that you need
    2. Create the Query in SQ01 using that Infoset.
If you want to see individual line items, include the fields you want in the "basic list" of the query. If you want totals by customer, don't include anything in the basic list, but make a "statistics" with customer and amount.
Selections would habe to be made for account no and period.

  • Customized R12 Standard Purchase Order report with custom data and layout

    Hi all,
We need to customize the seeded Purchase Order report in R12 to add an additional section to include cost data coming from our custom table. The key is that our customized report should be launched instead of the seeded report via various PO forms (e.g. View Document menu option, PO Communications form to email, fax and print PO, etc).
I manually set up a custom Document Type Layout for the Document "Standard Purchase Order" to use my customized template so my custom layout is shown instead of the R12 layout, but according to Oracle support the report can only draw data from a set of seeded Oracle views like po_headers_xml,po_lines_xml etc.
Any suggestions how we can add our custom data to PO report in R12?
    Thanks! Mike.

    Hi Mike
thats a tough one, the PO generation is a bit restrictive to say the least when it comes to customizing. It sounds like you have worked out how to get your own template in there to render the PO.
On the data front, all I can think of is to customize and replace the seeded PO view with one that incorporates your extra data.
Or, get into the page customization world and write your own extract and format concurrent program/procedure and then hook it onto the buttons where you want to launch it.
You might have more luch, response wise from the EBS PO forum.

  • Aging Report with Customer/Vendor Ref. No. should allow backdate

Aging Reports for Suppliers and Customers.
The current printing of the aging reports using Sales Document tab or the Purchase Document tab does not tie with the GL balances when the dates are backdated. It is important that the detail aging report to show the customer/ vendor ref. no.
There are times when urgent outgoing/ incoming payment are entered into the system for the current period when the vendor detail aging reports or the customer statement with the customer/ vendor ref. no is not ready to be printed for the previous period.
By allow backdating, it gives the users much needed flexibility in creating the transactions into SAP Business One without having to wait till all the previous month financial reporting is finalized. This is especially important during the financial year end.
    Current Workaround: None.

    Hello,
Thank you for your input. The limitation is solved in 2007 A / 2007 B version as a part of new Internal Reconciliation concept.

  • RDLC Reports with Custom Font - Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.

    Hi,
I got an ASP.NET MVC (Razor View Engine and C#) application running on a Windows Azure Web Role.
I use RDLC local reports to create pdf files with printable price tags with respective barcodes.
I got it working on Azure after installing the barcode font (TrueType) using a start-up task. Recently, it stopped working without me changing anything related to this functionality.
I'm getting the following error and so far I didn't find any solution. I know the problem is the barcode font because the pdf is generated well with a standard font like Arial. Also, it works perfectly with barcodes when running the app

    Hi Vitor,
    Thanks for your posting!
It seems that the error may have more than one possibilities. I recommend you could try to use the Azure remote debugger to debug your cloud service project on Azure instance. Please see this tutorials:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/cie/archive/2014/01/24/windows-azure-remote-debugging.aspx
You could debug your code using the cloud service URL.

  • Schedule a report with custom datasource cause "failed to open connection"

    Dear all,
I have a BOE enterprise Xi 3.1 SP 2.3 running on a RED Hat Enterprise kernel 5.3 with tomcat as web server. I have a report design with crystal report designer. The report default use JDBC as connection to Oracle 11g database. If I select to "Use original database logon information from the report" I can schedule the report and a success instance returned. If I select "Use custom database logon information specified here" and the custom driver inputted "crdb_jdbc". I can not schedule a report and obtain a success instance. It throw "Failed to open connection. {Report Name}"
I have add the Oracle 11g JDBC driver (ojdbc5.jar) to the classpath in bobje/java/CRConfig.xml.

  • How to genrate AUditLog Report  with custom Attribute

    Hi,
I would like to a add a custom search parameter in audit Log report. Please suggest solution for the same.
    Thanks in Advance

It's unclear exactly what you are asking for, but you can set up an auditlog report to find specific kinds of data changes.
Internally, attribute changes are saved in the format:
    BEFORE: ATTRIBUTE="ORIG VALUE"
    AFTER: ATTRIBUTE="FINAL VALUE"
As long as you know the ATTRIBUTE name and the value transition you are looking for, you can set up the report to check for attribute changes. E.g.,
[x] Attribute Changes [contains] BEFORE: ASSIGNEDLHPOLICY="POLICY1"as the condition will find all cases where account policies changed from being "POLICY1" to some other policy. (Attributes are only listed in the logs if they changed).
Not sure if that's the kind of custom search parameter you are looking for though.

  • How to filter standard ALV report with custom UI element?

    Hello Expert,
I got a requirement to filter standard ALV report based on the custom UI element (which is created in the screen before displaying the ALV report). Upon entering the values in the Custom field, the ALV report is displayed accordingly.
Any ideas how to approach it?
    Thanks,
    Mohammed

    Hi,
Okay, let me explain the steps in detail
Let us say you have alv table with 10 records and alv table is shown first time with all 10 records
Create an internal table in component controller's attribute GT_ORIGINAL_DATA and save all 10 records into this table first time
Now, user enters value in FILTER_MATNR field 123 and press apply_filter button or press enter key
Read the value of field filter_matnr and get the only matching records from global internal table GT_ORIGINAL_DATA into local internal table as below
              data lv_matnr type matnr.
              data lt_data   like wd_comp_controller->gt_original_data.
" read the value from context attribute of filter_matnr
                        lv_matnr = ???
" copy all data into local table
                        lt_data[] = wd_comp_controller->gt_original_data.
"delete the records which does not match
delete lt_data where matnr NP lv_matnr.
Now, bind the data lt_data to context node of alv table
    Hope this helps you.

  • Reports with custom SQL

    Hi all,
is there a way to find out which Webi reports are running custom SQL?
Basically we want to find this out without opening each report in edit mode.
    Thanks.

    Hi George,
I encounter this issue OFTEN because I add custom SQL in many queries. The problem for me, as you may have encountered yourself, is when I go in and do a minor tweak a query by adding a field, the custom SQL is flushed away.
Since WebI doesn't show this important information on the Document List, I have made it a habit to add a note to the document properties. (Right click on the document title and select Properties.) The properties will appear directly beneath the title on the Document List.
My Document List looks like this:
That's the solution I came up with. It reminds me that if I open a document to modify it in any way, I need to be careful not to lose my custom SQL code.
    Good luck,
    Marvin

  • Interactive Report with custom search criteria must behave as search bar

    Hi,
I have a region where I have 3 textfields and a Submit button. Then, another report region where I have a query with the where condition that makes reference to the 3 texfields. This is:
    Select * from ANYTABLE
    where column1 = :P1_TEXTFIELD1
    and column2 = :P1_TEXTFIELD2
    and column3 = :P1_TEXTFIELD3
When I click the submit button, the report is reloaded (in fact, all the page) with all the conditions (in textfields) correctly.
Now, what I need is that when I click the submit button, the filter appears in the screen; I mean, show the funnel with the filter conditions as if I made it since the search bar.
Could someone help me with this?

Hi, Welcome to the forum: please read the FAQ and forum sticky threads (if you haven't done so already), and update your forum profile with a real handle instead of "1002610".
When you have a problem you'll get a faster, more effective response by including as much relevant information as possible upfront. This should include:
    <li>Full APEX version
    <li>Full DB/version/edition/host OS
<li>Web server architecture (EPG, OHS or APEX listener/host OS)
    <li>Browser(s) and version(s) used
    <li>Theme
    <li>Template(s)
<li>Region/item type(s) (making particular distinction as to whether a "report" is a standard report, an interactive report, or in fact an "updateable report" (i.e. a tabular form)
With APEX we're also fortunate to have a great resource in apex.oracle.com where we can reproduce and share problems. Reproducing things there is the best way to troubleshoot most issues, especially those relating to layout and visual formatting. If you expect a detailed answer then it's appropriate for you to take on a significant part of the effort by getting as far as possible with an example of the problem on apex.oracle.com before asking for assistance with specific issues, which we can then see at first hand.

Remove the WHERE clause from the report query and use declarative filters in a branch on page submission to set the filter predicates.
