GL Description wrong in ABAVN

Hi All,
I have problem with GL Description. When I do ABAVN and Simulate the document. In the GL Shor text its showing me some other Description and when I saw the the description in the GL Account which I have entered correctly and relavent description.
Can some one guide me on same.

The short text displays the asset number for asset recon accounts. This is normal.

Flattened pixmap mask description wrong for small images -- Bug?

I've been working with images loaded from disk lately, and it seems to me the description for the mask element of the flattened pixmap cluster is incorrect when the image size is small. The online help reads:
mask is an array of bytes in which each bit describes mask
information for a pixel. The first byte describes the first eight pixels, the
second byte describes the next eight pixels, and so on. If a bit is zero,
LabVIEW draws the corresponding pixel as transparent. If the array is empty,
LabVIEW draws all pixels without transparency. If the array does not contain a
bit for each pixel in the image, LabVIEW draws any pixels missing from the array
without transparency.
So there should be one bit in the mask for each pixel. Here is what I'm getting:
image size   # pixels    mask length, bytes (bits)

It looks like there are two issues here. One, the mask array works on rows of pixels. If the row does not end on a byte, the byte is padded on the right with zeros until the end, then the next row starts. E.g., for the 9x9 image, pixel #9 is byte 2, bit 8; byte 2 is padded with zeros; pixels 10-18 start with byte 3.
Two, for some reason small images (i think 8 pixels per row or less, but I'm not sure) have every other byte a zero. For example, here is the mask for my 4x4 test image, with every pixel opaque:
   11110000 00000000 11110000 00000000 11110000 00000000 11110000 00000000
According to thel help text, the mask array should be 2 bytes long, with every bit a 1.
It seems to me that the first issue is likely intentional, and the help text just isn't entirely clear. The second issue, I'm not sure about. Maybe it was just assumed that pictures would be large and small pictures wouldn't be used?

Wiebe is correct that every line of the image gets an even number of bytes in it mask.
The help was misleading, I agree. I have reported this confusion as a bug in the documentation (I do not remeber to CAR#) so it can be explained better.

It seems like the semantic checks for comparison expression "trade.volume>10" is failing.
Kindly make sure that trade.volume is CQL native "int" type.
If problem is still coming after datatype checks, please share your EPN and configuration files with queries.

Error while Scheduling Precalculation settings

Hi All,
I have made workbook settings for Precalculation server.
What I did:
I have made a variable in query 2 on one of the characteristics and Given the Processing type as 'Replacement path' .NOw in the replacement path Tab, I hve given 'Query' as input in 'Replace with' option and mentioned the query name (query1) whose output I want to assign to this variable.
Am I going correctly?
After this is done,I did settings in the Broadcaster for precalculation.
When I executed that settings I am getting the following error:
Error Description:Wrong number of arguments
Wrong ID property assignment
Result: Failse
End of MenuRefreshPrecal
Precalculation in thread 4 failed
Cannot precalculate workbook.
I am unable to find out where I am wrong?
Can anybody please tell me the complete step by step process for this starting from creating variable?I know it'll be too lengthy but I am totally new to this & cannot understan what to follow afer what????

Unfortunately the error comes out immediately after the menu selection: if there's an options panel, it doesn't show
Tomorrow I'll be out of office, but next wednesday I'll try to run the tool from the command line and see what happens. In the meanwhile if you have any further suggestion I'll be glad to hear it.

Error While Applying patch ST-PI 2008_1_700 to solution Manager

Dear Techies,
Thanks alot for your fast response.
We are trying to upgrade Solution Manager Stack from
ST-PI 2005_1_700 to ST-PI 2008_1_700 ,
While applying patch it was suddenly stopped with an error
"Manual modification adjustment is neccessary"
While I tried to adjust it.
In Note correction tree. This the message with " green tick"
"0001293326 EWA: Newest ST-PI Is Rated 'Outdated'; Wrong RTCCTOOL Date"
and is not allowing me to proceed further.
How to go about.

It Has given that 4 notes were in red status.

DMS configuration done in SAP R/3 and able to see all configured document types in sap easy dms as well. But document description wrongly showing under document types.

Group by query not working after upgrade to 11g

This once is weired.
I had a report base on a seeded view with following query in Install Base.

This report was working fine in 10g and stopped pulling records after upgrade.
We are on 11.5.10.2 and 11g.
Does the upgrade changes EBZ views?
I had to rewrite it using base tables and it worked again with the group by clause.
I have verified there are no invalid objects.

How to retire/archive/status a released workbench transport for an OSS note

My Question: Is there a best practice for the "retiring" or "archiving" or "statusing" of released workbench transports for OSS notes that have been imported into the quality environment, but should never be imported into the production environment?
For example an OSS note is applied and imported into QS1, but then a CRT Hotpack is applied as an entire patch upgrade, so that the prior individual transport is no longer needed. Best Business practice indicates to not delete a released transport, but unless there is a way to permanently segregate them from the remaining legitimately viable transports, there is always a risk that the "stale" code could inadvertently slip through thus overwriting good code.

Lost system administrator password

I've lost the password for account "System Administrator".
How can I reset the "S A" account password? Googling finds ways to reset root or non-admin passwords, but no mention of the account called System Administrator.
I have root / root password. I tried booting from the install disk and using reset password, but the list of accounts it brings up does not include System Administrator. (Well there is one called S A, but it also says "root" and the online tips say do not reset this since it really is root.)
Since I have root access, it isn't truly critical to get the SA password, but it would be nice.
Any suggestions?

Well, here's what confuses me. Per this site (and others), when using install disk to do "Reset Password", I am really resetting the root password. But there's a "System Administrator" entry in my account list, and the implication is that this is not the root account.

Weekly periods in profile file (.PER) with a 5-4-4 split

I'm trying to create a profile file with a full breakdown of periods from Half year to weeks using a consistent 5-4-4 weekly split for the months, except for the last month that will have 5 weeks (to make up the 53 weeks when needed).
When I try to create this application I get the following error:

However there are no errors generated in either the error log nor the application event log.

I have not seen that specific error before.
Generally, it is dicouraged to setup weeks as your periods because most systems do not produce weekly data.
There was a request for me to do the same thing you are trying. We had general ledger data monthly, but wanted some sales data weekly. We kept the period dimension with months as the base member. We added Wk1, Wk2, Wk3, Wk4, and Wk5 as members in the Custom4 dimension. This allowed us to load data as weekly whenever we needed to, but kept us from having 48 extra members and from disturbing the profile or the periods.

I am actually working on a JSF web application. We use JSF 2.1.2 and primefaces 2.2.1.
Actually we have some memory Problems on the server. So we made some tests with STATE_SAVING_METHOD "client"
and STATE_SAVING_METHOD "server" and com.sun.faces.serializeserverstate.
My question here is, where does JSF write the server state on disk (directory, filename).
Is it possible to change this manually?? (We need this, for daily clean up)
What happens if the memory on harddisk is full? JSF will change mode or just stop??
When will JSF clean up the serialized server states?
Is JSF compressing the serverstate before serializing or does JSF compress only for "client"-method??
I have searched the net but was not able to find any satisfying information.
I hope anybody can help me!

Currency valuation error

We have company code:0001 and g/l code: 60000 is maintained for relevant config for foreign currency valuation for the t code: OB09 and assigned this g/l code to FSV also.
we have executed for the t code: fagl_fc_val for the relevent g/l code: 60000 and it is picked for the document numbers accordingly, so that we have executed batch input session with the reference of company code and g/l code number with valuation area level. and session is also created, when we processed batch input session it is showing instead 60000 to <60000>. with g/l code description wrongly and this error is getting for this valuation area level only.
Could you please advice how to resolve this one.

AMFPHP + onFault function

How are you supposed to use the onFault function with AMFPHP?
I'm trying to use "trigger_error($errormsg);". But the onFault
function in Flex 2 only prints [object Object].
So I have probably missunderstood the entire concept with the
onFault function.
Let's say I want to add something to a database, a user. I'll
send the username + email with my amfphp class. In that class I
have a function that checks if the username or the email already
exists, but how will I return the message to Flex 2 if one of them
already exists?
I thought the easiest way was to use: trigger_error("Username
exists"); and trigger_error("E-mail exists");. But that's useless
if you can't display the error msg in Flex 2.
Can someone help a complete beginner to flex 2 and amfphp
