GNU Screen mouse scrolling shows only empty lines

Hi,
I've got a problem with using my mouse wheel to scroll in GNU Screen.
This is the content of my .screenrc:
defscrollback 10000
hardstatus off
termcapinfo xterm* ti@:te@
altscreen on
With this settings, It kinda works: I can scroll up, but instead of showing the previous output, I just shows blank lines.
I can actually scroll up by entering Screen's copy mode using CTRL-A ESC and then using the Arrow-keys or PageUp.
Furthermore, if I then scroll with my mouse wheel, I can also scroll the lines that were displayed in copy mode, but if I try to scroll further than I scrolled in copy mode, I still see blank lines.

No I think the problem is more basic than that...he's trying to use an ATi card and an Nvidia card simultaneously. Something that I don't think will work.
It also dependent on what drivers he is trying to use, as the (new) Nvidia proprietary driver only supports GeForce4 series chips and up...and the OP has an even older card than that. The legacy Nvidia-96.xx driver does support his chipset, but 96.xx does not work with Xorg1.8 last I knew. see: http://www.archlinux.org/news/502/
Twinview does not exist in the Nouveau drivers, so one has to use xrandr: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Nouveau

The screen is completely blank in the app ? Have you tried closing the app via the phone's taskbar and/or done a soft-reset to see if it then displays anything ?

Soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

How to show an empty line at the end of a ParagraphView

PDF showing only first line of Table?

I am showing an input table to PDF using adobe Int Form and in the Adobe screen it is displaying only the first line of the table.

When the XML interface is generated for the context, for every node that has cardinality 0..n or 1..n, a node named DATA is generated in the XML.
So if your Webdynpro context has foll structure...
Node1 ... 1..1
Node2 ... 0..n
    Attrib1
    Attrib2
The corresponding XML would be
Node1
Node2
    DATA
      Attrib1
      Attrib2

My mouse scroll button only moves up (not down)

My scroll button on my Apple mouse (brand new iMac) was working beautifully. All of a sudden, it will not scroll down -- only up.
Can someone give me an idea as to what might be wrong? (I checked my mouse preferences and the setting is correct, "vertical and horizontal").

I have the same problem with my wireless mouse which isn't dirty, because when using it with a CAD program which uses the scroll ball as zoom in/out it works fine.
Maybe it stopped working with the latest upgrade?.

Since downloading firefox 3.6 when I scroll down a page it shows each line moving up instead of just moving one line up its very annoying

It could be that there is not enough memory in the printer or the print server to hold the entire document while printing. The printer gets Postscript files, which are larger than the original document. Also, if you are doing multiple copies, if you collate the pages, that takes more memory than printing each page multiple times.

Mighty mouse scrolls up only

hello,
i love using the mighty mouse but today i read an email and scrolled as usual.
suddenly i only was not able to scroll down anymore in any application. scrolling up, left and right works as always. it's really strange.
rebooting my powerbook and unplugging the mouse did not resolve the problem.
any hints?

Welcome to Apple discussions, Michael.
Occasionally I have a very similar problem as well. It will not scroll in up or down but scrolling in all the other directions (left, right or diagonally) will be fine.
What I have found (with my own Mighty Mouse anyway) is that I just need to press and hold the scroll wheel harder, almost as hard as I would need to 'click-drag' something on the screen. After that it will work normally again.
Fortunately it doesn't happen all that often - but often enough to be memorable.
Don't know if it will help with your problem, but probably still worth a try.

Mouse scroll ball only works downwards

The scroll ball on my mouse (which came with the computer) only works when scrolling downwards. It was OK yesterday. Any suggestions?

Cleaning the ball is temporary at best. Most of the time the problem is not only a dirty ball but dust and dirt on the sensor below the ball. This is what works for me every time:
Place a piece of clean white printer paper on your desk. Disconnect the mouse and turn upside down on the paper. Push down on the mouse so the ball compresses on the paper. Now virtuously move the mouse ball on the paper (fast, up and down, in circles for about a minute). You should see little bits on crud on the paper when finished.

F1 shows only empty content in help window

I'm experiencing some problems with the usual help screens. Everytime that I call for the help screen (F1), on any content that usually shows documentation, i get nothing but a blank page.
I believe this is related to the Sap Gui ( i use the 640 for Windows) because i have tried with different systems and the problem remains, and with the Java Gui the help contents are shown.
I have already reinstalled the sap gui twice, and this procedure has not solved the symptom.
Does anyone have a possible solution for the problem?

IWeb shows only empty, black pages now

Greetings, all.
I have recently moved to a new computer, and I haven't used iWeb in months, maybe a year or more. Anyway, I moved the ~/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.sites2 bundle from the old computer to the new one, and upon launching iWeb 09 on the new one, all of the pages in all of the sites are completely black. Some have a scroll bar, and the size of the scroll bar varies per page.
When I open up the Domain.sites2 bundle in Finder, I can see my files in there, but for some reason iWeb isn't seeing them correctly. I'd rather not start completely over with my websites (there's a bunch in there), so is there any way to get this back?
Oh, one more note: currently my new computer is headless (nothing plugged to either display connector). Might this be part of the problem?

First try repairing disk permissions with Disk Utility to see if that will help. If that doesn't help continue:
6 - move the domain file from your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
7 - launch iWeb, create a new test site and save.
8 - go to the your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
9 - move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
10 - launch iWeb and try again.

Creative Cloud Desktop displays only empty box

CC Desktop shows only empty box. Mousing over it does NOT bring up any display. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app without success. Running Windows 7 64 bit, NVIDIA GeForce GTX470 driver version 335.23. Any ideas?

Scroll ball only one way-down.

My wireless mouse scroll ball only works down and is unresponsive up. This symptom occured before and seemed to cure itself. There was a time in the past when it was intermittent. I dropped the mouse earlier today. Could it have suffered brain damage?

I should have read further into the posts before I asked. Turns out that it was just in need of cleaning. As was suggested in another post, I used a soft dust free damp cloth and turned the mouse up-side-down and rubbed the track ball around in all directions until all functions returned.

Why does iCal now show just 2 lines of info?

Since updating to Yosemite, my iCal sometimes shows only 2 lines of info even though there's space in the box for more lines. Here's examples:
There's room for the rest of the phone number and more, but instead it gave me dot, dot, dot and nothing below. Sometimes expanding the time slot and then retracting it again resets it like this example:
This time-slot box is even smaller than the one above, yet it currently shows 4 lines of type under the (unnecessary) time stamp. When I first typed it in, originally it just showed 2 lines, but then I grabbed the bottom arrow, pulled down till it was a much longer time slot, then slid back up till it was just 1 hour slot, and all 4 lines appeared. Tried the same thing with the top example, but the next line never appeared. Very wanky. Forces me to double click the event to see the full description in the editing pane, but there's no reason why 3 or 4 lines shouldn't show up in the main iCal display...there's plenty of room. What the?

Go to Gmail (on the web) look in the folder named All Mail, they will be there, delete what you want.

Mouse Scroll Not Working in oracle forms

I Created a master and detail block.. In Detail block following Properties i set
No. of Records to be displayed : 10
Scroll bar : no
Without having the scroll bar i wannt to check all the records in the detail Block.

i'm using Oracle 10g.. JIniator for Running Oracle Forms
applying this Coding this function is not working..
Can anybody tell this How to oversome from this...???

What version of Oracle Forms are you using? You should always include this in your posts. :)
Mouse scrolling is only enabled in Web runtime of Forms - so you must be using Forms 9i or higher.
Does JRE Support mouse scrolling function?If memory serves, Mouse scroll was first introduced in Java 1.5.0. Therefore, if you want enble the mouse scroll wheel in Forms, you must be using JRE 1.5.0 or higher. I strongly recommend you use Java 1.6.0_33 or higher - but do not use Java 1.7.0 as it has not been certified with Oracle Forms yet.
In order to use the JRE over the Jinitiator, you must modify your configuration to enable use of the JRE. Please take a look at Oracle 10gR2 Forms Services – Using Sun's Java Plug-in. This Oracle White Paper is for Forms 10g Release 2, but the instructions are basically the same for 9i and 11g as well.
