Go_item(:detail.item) after query(F7) in master, frm-40737

Dear friends,
I have a master block and a detail block. When the master block ist queried, I want to go to a disticnt item in detail block, if there are records. Therefore I tried to put code in the post_query of the detail_block, which caused error frm-40737:
if :evm_jn_lief_artikel_lagort.lagort_id is null then
go_item('evm_a_liefrant.liefrant_uk');
else
go_item('lieferschein.belegnr')
end if;
error message says, that I cannot call the restricted procedure go_item in post_query.
okay, but where can I put this code that it is called automatically after query?
Thanks
Silke

Thank you I tried it, principally it works, but there is a problem left. This is my code in key_exeqry of detail:
execute_query;
message('execute_query, lagort_id: ' || :evm_jn_lief_artikel_lagort.lagort_id);
message('execute_query, lagort_id: ' || :evm_jn_lief_artikel_lagort.lagort_id);
if :evm_jn_lief_artikel_lagort.lagort_id is null then
     -- keine Artikel am lagerort
     go_item('evm_a_liefrant.liefrant_uk');
     message('evm_a_liefrant.liefrant_uk');
     message('evm_a_liefrant.liefrant_uk');
else
     go_item('lieferschein.belegnr');
     message('lieferschein.belegnr');
     message('lieferschein.belegnr');
end if;
When t´here are records in the detail block else is choosen, but forms doesn't go the item!
The 'old' item (from where F8 was pressed) stays activated.

  • Data missing from Detail Block after query

    Hello all,
    I have created a form with a master and detail block. The master data is on a content canvas the detail data is on a stacked canvas which lies on the content canvas. Before you enter the form a find window appears and asks the user to enter criteria to limit the data shown on the main form or just enter the main form. When I put in criteria to bring up more than one record for the master block the first record shows up fine but when I move to the next record the detail block goes blank. When I go back to the first record the detail block is still blank. I first thought this was a problem with the relationship but the deferred and automatic query are set to NO. I am confused at why this is happening, please help.
    Mike

    Dmytro,
    Thank you for replying to my post. I set the automatic query to yes for the block relationship and I am still having the problem, the deferred coordination property is set to no. If you have any other ideas I would appreciate the help. Could this be because of something that I have put in a trigger on the detail block.

  • Add Multiple Detail Items Using the Same Query String Parameter

    I am using InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2010.
    I have 2 forms libraries - Expense and Expense Details.
    The 2 libraries are linked via a custom site column Expense ID.
    The Expense form contains the main header type info you would typically find on an expense report; e.g., name, purpose, department, etc.
    The Expense Details form contains multiple detail expenses related to the main expense report such as airfare, rental car, etc.
    I have created a page that displays an expense report with all of the related expense detail items.
    The page contains a link to add a new expense detail and passes the Expense ID of the Expense form to the Expense Detail form.
    This all works fine.  The problem comes in after the first expense detail form is submitted.
    I can successfully submit the first detail item.  However, the expense detail form loses the Expense ID that was passed to it after the first expense detail form has been submitted.
    The parameter still shows in the URL but the detail form no longer shows the value of the parameter.
    What do I need to do in order to be able to add multiple expense detail items using the same Expense ID that was passed to the form?
    I have tried using a Submit Behavior of Open a new form, Close the form, and Leave the form open.
    None of these options give me what I need.  Thanks for your help.

    Laura Rogers Blog
    In case anyone stumbles upon this looking for an answer. Laura Rogers has the answer found in the comments section of her blog above.  It’s not the best but it
    does work. You have to add an extra Info Path Web Form for it to work. I know, you can roll your eyes.<o:p></o:p>
    Steps.<o:p></o:p>
    1. Add Query String<o:p></o:p>
    2. Add the extra Info Path form to the page. This form will be a hidden on the page and will receive the value from the query string.<o:p></o:p>
    3. Add your original Info Path form and have it receive a parameter from the hidden Info Path form.<o:p></o:p>
    Now, when you hit save and it opens a new form the 3 Info Path form will function properly. <o:p></o:p>

  • Make detail items in master/detail form read only

    I want to make detail items in master/detail form read only for certain conditions (master STATUS = Closed). I see how to do this on the master record items but not on detail items.

    Take a look at this thread: Re: Conditionally make a tabular form uneditable
    You will need to modify the code, but it should help since a master detail is just a standard form with a tabular form attached to it..

  • How to Create Master Detail Page with Query Region

    Hi,
    1. I have a requirement that i need to create a Master(Supplier) Detail(Supplier Site) Page with Query Region.
    Eg. Supplier A in Australia has Supplier Sites X in Melbourne and Y in Sydney.
          Supplier B in US has Supplier Sites C in New York and D in California.
    I need to have Search, based on two fields Supplier Name and Country
    Let us assume i am searching with Supplier Name A then the page should be in the below layout
    Query Region
    Supplier Name : A
    Country:
    Master
    Supplier Name  Country
        A                     Australia
    Detail
    Supplier Site  City
    X                   Melbourne
    Y                   Sydney
    In detail VO it should allow me to add new sites which means i need to connect this VO to database to insert new records
    I have gone few threads and understood that this can be achieved by creating SupplierVO, SupplierSiteVO and a ViewLink.
    But when tried i don't know how can i relate my query region with the Suppleir Table(Header Reagin and Table Using Wizard) and Supplier Site Table(Header Region and Table Using Wizard) i am not sure if i am correct or not, please advise
    2. Also i need to have a Open button in this page and if click the button it should navigate to some other page.
    Please help me how can i achieve this.

  • Page detail items

    Is there a way to set page detail items to show a particular value as default?
    For example, page detail item 'Month' contains 'Jan 05', 'Feb 05' and 'Mar 05'.
    Can Discoverer report be setup so that default value for 'Month' is the latest month available?
    Thanks!

    I am also experiencing problems in Viewer for a worksheet with over 15 page items, some of which has over 500 values for selection.
    1) For each page item value selection, the 'Execution Query Process' page pops up. It drove my users crazy after four pop-ups. Is there anyway to for discoverer to complete all page item selections first, then refresh query to show the 'Execution query process' page just once; or better yet, is there a way to suppress the query progress pop-ups all together?
    2) Sometimes we select a page item value, other times we select '<All>' to get all values; similar to like '%;. For page items with over 400 values, the Viewer display about 40 followed by ...more. We have to click more for more ...more. At times, we go through 12 search pages to reach the desired page item value or the value <All>.
    Is there a way to put <All> on the top of the list as default, and permit a search pattern for page item value, which changes in each run?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Avoiding miscalculation of calculated item in query mode

    Hi:
    Imagine an invoice data entry system. 2 Blocks... the master (orders) and the detail (order_products). In the master you have the customer info and all that usual data... the details are the lines of products that this customer bought (quantity, price, etc) .
    Now imagine that I have calculated items that do the sum of the values from the lines and that are saved in the totals of the master block. And these calculations work very well...
    UPS... no they don't!
    Now imagine an order with 5 lines of products. Now imagine that you open that order and you go to the detail block and query that block and execute the query and the query only returs one or two lines for instance. The calculated items will change it value for the sum of the prices of these only 2 lines... but the order has 3 more products... and imagine that you click save... now the order totals are miscalculated...
    My question... HOW Can I avoid this? It's crucial!!!
    Best Regards
    Joao Oliveira

    Hi gerd :
    May a pre-commit-trigger selects the values from the database including the updated rows in the form?
    These computations are very very difficult. The values of the master table depends on the detail tables and the opposite is also true. By implementing triggers it will not work cause at the time the trigger fires in the master table the values from the detail table are not yet updated. This is a tricky issue...
    If I could avoid querying clauses in the detail block and avoid for instance the Clear_Record key... it would solve part of my problems.

  • Combo Box in Portal Form resets after query

    Hello all,
    I have a portal form based on Stored Procedure. In it I have a Location combo box and Query button in addition to few text items. Users can select location from the drop down list and hit Query button to view the values in for the text items. The query part is working fine. But after query the Location resets to Null (as the LOV which feeds the combo box can have Null). We would like to keep the location they chose to query up even after the query results. Any help is appreciated.
    The Location item is in the parameters of the Stored Procedure. Initially it was IN, later I changed to IN OUT but there is no change in functionality.
    I also removed the ability to accept NULL for the LOV which feeds Location Combo box but now it is displaying the first location on the list after the query, which is even worse.
    Thanks in advance,
    Manohar

    You're catching Exceptions in empty catch() blocks. There might have been an exception, but you won't know if the catch block doesn't do anything.
    Try something like this:
    catch(SQLException e){
        System.err.println( "Problem with db query"+e.getMessage() );
        e.printStackTrace( System.err );
    }in order to see what's going wrong with your code.

  • How to Stretch Components in Show Detail Item - Jdev 11.1.2

    Hello:
    I have a panel splitter-verticle, and in the second facet I have a panel stretch layout and in that a panel tabbed. Inside a show detail item, I have another panel splitter-verticle. Inside the first facet, I have a af:query and in the second facet I have a af:form. But both the af:query and the af:form do not stretch to fill the open space, when I move the first splitter.
    What is required to have the af:query and af:form inside a show detail item with a splitter stretch to fill the open space?
    Thanks for the help.

  • Issues with old calendar items after migration from SBS2008R1 to Windows 2012R2+Exchange 2013

    Hello,
    After migrating a customer from Windows Small Business Server 2008 R1 to Microsoft Windows Server 2012 (DC) and Microsoft Windows Server 2012 & Exchange 2013 there are a few issue regarding
    the GAL and old migrated calender items that we are unable to resolve:
    Old calender items which were Exported to PST when the Server 2008 R1 environment was still live were imported to the new mailbox of the user, located on the Exchange 2013 mail database. This
    seemed to be working just fine.
    The problems arise when a user tries to edit or re-send an old calender item. There actually are 2 problems:
    1. When resending an old calender item, OLD GAL entries are used (even when re-entering the contact details) and the emails are send to nobody and you get the mail back from postmaster
    2. When updating an old calender item you get an error that you do not have permissions, probably because you are NOT the 'old' Exchange user.
    Thanks in advance!

    Did you use Exmerge or similar to export?
    You may have an issue like that explained here.

  • Details Item : Service duration was not updated

    Hi everyone,
    When creating a service request, we have a green alert saying "Details Item 10: Service duration was not updated".
    We assume this has an impact on the process of service request but after customizing date profile for header and item it does not solve our problem.
    Has someone would have faced the same issue and would know what's the solution?
    Thanks,
    Anaïs

    Hello Rashmi,
    Thank you for your answer. That was exactly what I was looking for.
    Would you be able to give me more explenations of the usage of this customizing?
    If I get it right,service and response profile is used for default product 'Investigation' on service request.
    However, what if I don't want dates to be automatically calculated? We have a service open 24/24 and dates are calculated following some contracts attributes.
    Thank you for your help,

  • Strange behaviour after querying a friendly device name

    Hi,
    I have observed some very strange behaviour after querying the friendly name of an audio capturing device. This is my code:
    #include "stdafx.h"
    #include <mmdeviceapi.h>
    #include <Functiondiscoverykeys_devpkey.h>
    int main(int argc, char *argv[]) {
        HRESULT hr = CoInitializeEx(0, COINIT_APARTMENTTHREADED);
        if(FAILED(hr)) throw;
        IMMDeviceEnumerator *pIMMDeviceEnumerator = 0;
        hr = CoCreateInstance(__uuidof(MMDeviceEnumerator), 0, CLSCTX_INPROC_SERVER, __uuidof(IMMDeviceEnumerator), (LPVOID *) &pIMMDeviceEnumerator);
        if(FAILED(hr)) throw;
        IMMDeviceCollection *pIDeviceCollection = 0;
        hr = pIMMDeviceEnumerator->EnumAudioEndpoints(eCapture, DEVICE_STATE_ACTIVE, &pIDeviceCollection);
        if(FAILED(hr)) throw;
        IMMDevice *pIMMDevice = 0;
        hr = pIDeviceCollection->Item(0, &pIMMDevice);
        if(FAILED(hr)) throw;
        IPropertyStore *pIPropertyStore = 0;
        hr = pIMMDevice->OpenPropertyStore(STGM_READ, &pIPropertyStore);
        if(FAILED(hr)) throw;
        PROPVARIANT propVariant;
        PropVariantInit(&propVariant);
        pIPropertyStore->GetValue(PKEY_Device_FriendlyName, &propVariant);
        PropVariantClear(&propVariant);
        pIPropertyStore->Release();
        pIMMDevice->Release();
        pIDeviceCollection->Release();
        pIMMDeviceEnumerator->Release();
        CoUninitialize();
        return -1;
    Please ignore the strange error handling, it's just to make the example code short.
    The problem is the return value (as can be seen in the output window of Visual Studio after running the program or using "echo %errorlevel%" in cmd.exe). Certainly, one would expect to get -1. However, I get 0 instead of -1. What makes this
    really strange is that -1 is properly returned when the line "pIPropertyStore->GetValue..." is commented out. Why does this have any effect on the return value of the process? I have observed this on two different Window 7 machines with different
    soundcard configurations. However, I did another test on a Windows 8.1 machine, where everything worked correctly.
    Can anyone explain what's going on here?
    Thanks,
    Holger

    OK, here's what's going on.
    Everything goes fine until main() exits.
    At that point, mmdevapi.dll's DllMain is called with lpReserved set to a non-NULL value, which is to say, "don't bother to clean up."
    mmdevapi.dll decides to clean up anyway (for shame) and calls into some SetupAPI.dll functions.
    SetupAPI.dll is waiting on a critical section, but at that point ntdll.dll kicks in and says "you know what, the process is shutting down, and this is the last thread, so I can guarantee you this critical section will never be set." ntdll.dll then
    terminates the process, and main()'s exit code is lost.

  • Packing of multiple Delivery items after PGI

    Hi All,
    I need to create a program to Pack multiple delivery items after the PGI is done.
    Single Pack(handling unit) may contain items from multiple Deliveries.
    is there any BAPI or FM to Pack deliveries after PGI ?
    I checked SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PACKING and HU_PACKING_DELIVERY but didn't understand which parameters to pass.
    kindly help me to resolve.
    Thanks.
    Bhanu

    Thanks for the reply Vinod..
    yes, normal flow is Delivery=>Picking=>Packing=>PGI but in our warehouse we are not following that process, we do  Delivery=>Picking=>PGI and afterwords they do packing for export orders.
    While packing our checker will capture packing Box number, Customer code, Delivery No, material number, qty with the help of VB.NET application which i need to update the data into SAP using program ( Batch mode )
    here they want to pack based on customer code or based on destination address or etc that they will decide manually..
    what ever way they have packed i need to update those details into SAP for reporting purpose.
    This is our requirement, hope i conveyed properly..
    awaiting for your suggestions...
    Thanks

    While there can be many causes for this generic error message, in my case the first parameter or ddwrt:DataBind function inside the SharePoint:FormFields element was
    'i' and I was working with an Edit Form. Changing it to
    'u' as it was with every other FormField fixed the issue.
    <SharePoint:FormField runat="server" id="ff1{$Pos}" ControlMode="Edit" FieldName="Esittaja" __designer:bind="{ddwrt:DataBind('u',concat('ff1',$Pos),'Value','ValueChanged','ID',ddwrt:EscapeDelims(string(@ID)),'@Esittaja')}"
    />
    Explanation:
    DataBind operation type parameters (the first parameter) are listed below:
    'i' stands for INSERT,
    'u' stands for UPDATE,
    'd' stands for DELETE.
