Going from 4k with Henge Dock to standard Retina while out

I am having a problem figuring this one out.
When I am in the office, I use a Henge Dock and run a HDMI to my 4k display, works awesome.
What isnt awesome is when I pull the MBP out of the dock and try to use it. Everything is huge on my screen. It doesnt seem to be able to flip back and forth.
Am I doing something incorrect? Is there a way to have two display profiles? Am I doomed?

I use it with my macbook pro and a 4k display. If you have a lot of spaces and lots of windows open it can take 10 or 15 seconds to reset them all but its a great little app.

So, just a few days ago, I could play World of Warcraft on a highly populated server with around 30 FPS at all times on ultra graphics. All of a sudden, when I logged in last night, I got between 5-8 FPS if I was lucky, and had to turn my graphics down to fair or even low to get around the same FPS or better as before. Do you guys think this could be software or hardware? I don't really care about not playing the game with full graphics, but is instead worried if there could be something wrong with the machine itself.

In case anyone's interested it looks like the frame control that is defaulted to off, needs to be on. Now what settings the frame control should be set on, I have no idea.

Did you have the Find My iPhone service enabled? If so, you will be able to do a remote wipe. If not, just go to www.appleid.apple.com and change your password. I don't think this will be an issue though because the iPod would ask for your password before being able to do any downloads, which the theif could not get access to.

What case works with the dock

Hey, I'm looknig for a case that will work with the dock. Are there any out there? I really like using the dock to sync my phone and I'm not happy loosing that feature in order to use a case.
I'm already aware that the iSee case will not work with the dock http://www.contourcase.com/isee/iseeiphone/ . What about the other cases out there?

I think you're out of luck with PPC & 10.5, or in luck by my view of iCloud.

I just jazzed up my 2 Ghz iMac with 10.6.8, and 4 gigs of memory. I'm VERY happy with the results (fast!), but now I have a thin yellow line way over on the right side of the screen, which goes from top to bottom. This is really strange! Any input?

I've never seen anything like this! It was not there before I did the upgrades. Anyone out there ever heard of such a preposterous thing ~ or have any ideas on how to get rid of it?

If the HDMI input to the Samsung is not compatible, does it have a VGA or composite input? I have both the HDMI and VGA adapters for the iPad, which work with the small Vizio HDTV I tried. I understand a composite video adapter is also available.

We don't work for Apple. If you want to know when something is going to be fixed you'll need to ask them.

That message usually means that your phone was once connected to a different phone carrier than the one you're currently on.
Then when you restore or updated the phone it locked back to the original phone carrier - this is caused when the phone was hacked to unlock it from the original phone carrier.
Very rarely is the activation server unavailable.

S-Video with Universal Dock

I plan to order the 5G iPod and Universal Dock tonight. I will want to be able to play photo slideshows (both photos and sound), and videos, through my TV. To do this, I plan to place the iPod in the Universal Dock, then connect the Dock to the TV by a S-Video cable. As I have read that this method gives a clearer/better signal compared to using the Apple iPod AV cable.
Is this all I will need? Will both video and audio work/transmit to the TV via the S-Video cable? I'm assuming I won't need my laptop there either, as from what I understand, that set-up would be completely stand-alone...?
If a S-Video cable is all I need, can anyone recommend any manufacturers? I can not find an Apple S-Video cable on their online Store. There is a Belkin one though.
Could I get away with buying a bog standard S-Video cable from a local store, for say a few pounds?

Oh, drat! So you can either use just the iPod AV cable, which transmits both video and audio, from the iPod's headphone port to the TV, or...
... you can use the AV cable and an S-Video cable (in which case you also need the Dock with you)? With this second option, does the S-Video connection override the AV's capabilties to transmit video - so the AV cable is purely being used to transmit the audio??
Sorry to sound dumb, I have no experience with connecting an iPod to a TV.
Basically, what I want to know, is what I require to connect my 5G iPod up to my TV, to view photo slideshows and videos (both video and audio) - in the best/highest quality format possible. As I said above, I will be purchasing a Universal Dock.
