Good books/documentation for newbie iOS developer?

Hello!
I want to start developing iOS apps. What books, DVDs or other documentation would you recommend?
I know I need to learn Objective-C, as I only know some very basic C++.
These are some books I've found, are they any good? Should I get any of these?

iOS/Xcode books are a waste of money. If you must go that route, get something on Obj-C/Cocoa (the last one on your list if it isn't old) and know that there are iBooks from Apple on Cocao/Obj-C and iOS.

Best book/documentation for forms10

I need you all to recommend a good book/reading material to learn basic/advance level techniques for oracle forms 10g. When I googled this topic most of the items in the result set referred to books published in 2001..and referred mostly to older versions
I also could not find oracle documnetation for forms10g (Most of it referes to developer 2000 or release notes). May be I am missing something ???
A link to the complete forms 10g developer documentation from oracle would be a great help too

II am a complete novice to BEA WebLogic and was looking for a good book the bea documentation is too huge. I would be grateful if someone could let me know what would be a good book to learn. I have browsed through amazon reviews and I have two books in mind

Mastering BEA WebLogic Server: Best Practices for Building and Deploying J2EE Applications.
They have bad reviews to but I guess these seemed to be the best in the worst.

Goods Issue Documentation for Text (Non-stock) Items

Hi all,
I have a business requirement to provide some form of shipping documentation for text (non-stock) items.
The business do not want to create material masters (NLAGs) for these items as they are different/one off purchases.
The purchase the goods and receipt with account assignment to a cost center or internal order, then sit on the inventory and send it out to customers along with real stock items.
Any ideas on how I can provide some kind of supporting documentation, whether that is a delivery note, or just a simple GI Slip?

So they want to purchase items that they don't create materials for/don't get stocked yet want to include those items that don't really 'exist' in SAP on some for of documentation.
If these items go with real Deliveries then why not add them as text items to the Delivery ?

You will probably have to go to a 2nd hand book store for Developer 6i books. Since this is an old product, I don't think publishers still sell or reprint these books.

Can I use a different id (email) for my iOS Developer account than my iTunes account?

I am an iPhone and iPad app developer. I have a customer that would like to submit apps on their account. the problem is, they would like the iOS account to not be linked to their regular iTunes account, where they download all their music,etc.
Should I advise them to create a seaparate account with a different emaiul address? OR, is it possible to have an iOS developer account with different credentials.
I believe my customer already set up their iOS account, paid 99.00, and now realizes thay don'w want the accounts linked.

Yeah. I don't think that is possible. I know you can have seperate user accounts on 1 computer. But the data from each would be different.

It won't met me sign up to the apple ios development programme...
On the first step "Enter Account Info"
It tells me to enter my name and billing address, I have done that but when I click "continue"

Because if you actually read my question it states:

I have not even got round to uploading my application because it won't let me SIGN UP to the apple ios developer programme due to an error saying "Please fill out all required information" when I have filled out all of the required information...
Before you probbaly come up with something like that image is not mine... It is, and as you can see the error is there when I have filled out everything!

Book recommendation for newbie

I know the basics of Flash CS4, and would like to extend my knowledge by learning about ActionScript 3. My background is in graphic design (not math, not programming). Can anyone help with a book recommendation that would get me started with the basics of ActionScript 3?

From the description on Amazon, the emphasis of this book is on learning Flash with just a little information about ActionScript 3. Perhaps there is enough ActionScript 3 information in this book to get a good foundation with ActionScript, to learn the terminology and syntax?

Good REFERENCE documentation for ADF, DCControls etc?

The Oracle handbooks focus almost entirely on tutorials, and the author seems to take it as a personal affront if we move our hands from mouse to keyboard. What I haven't found is somewhere I can really look up one of these classes, and get significant descriptions of what the methods do. The Javadoc is very limited, at best terse and cryptic, at worst absent. (Compare an ADF class with, for example, a struts class).

I've looked for an "outsider's" reference book for ADF etc. but no luck so far.

Also, if you have the FULL version of JDeveloper installed, just hit CTRL+minus to bring up the source search. Then type in DCIteratorBinding, for instance, to load the class' source into the editor window and see what is going on or set breakpoints. Extremely helpful.

How can I sign up with Enterprise program, while I have an active membership of the iOS developer program?
I have bought a memership for the iOS Developer program.
I have created an in-house app.
Now I want to publish it to all employees without registering the devices.
So..
I go to their website and try to sign up for the enterprise program, image shown below:

Within the image above, I click continue...

Then I am taken to the image above, there I need to select a program, but I already have a program, the iOS developer program! And the checkbutton of that program, is disabled. If I try to click continue at this page, without sleecting a program, a javascript-box shows "You have to select a program before continuging"...
Do I need to unsubscribe my iOS developer program, to then register it again? Lol!
PS: no clue where I should post this, looked over the forums and could not see anything related to singing up, registering for a program...

Our apps came offline automatically shortly after this as iTunesConnect thought we had not renewed our license, even though we had several weeks ago.
We had a brief panic as our apps were offline for 12 hours, which is how long it took Apple Support to work out what was wrong and hook things up.
I suggest you contact them ASAP to get this fixed so you don't get that iTunesConnect alert to your phone 'Your app status has been changed to Pending Contract'.
