Good Day! Is the Screen from a Series CQ50 interchangeable / Compatible with a Series G60?

Good Day! I hope ALL are enjoying a pleasant one.
HP Pavilion G60-458DX
Compaq Presario CQ50z-100
Compaq CQ50-139WM
I have a G60-458DX with a bad screen. I believe it's the Backlighting because it dimmed out before my very eyes, but I can still see what's going on through the shadows.
I have a wrecked CG50-139WM which has a good screen that I'd like to use in the G60.
I also have a CQ50z-100 with a good screen that I have as an alternate.
Are these screens compatible / interchangeable with one another?
Your help with this project will be greatly appreciated, and save me a Lot of Time.

That older iMac isn't designed to receive video input through the mini-DVI connection. Only certain newer iMacs are able to be used as displays.
Your only options are to use something like ScreenRecycler mentioned above.

You should take it to an Apple store or an AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) Carefully inspect the hinge joint and make sure there is no debris that you can see, you can try carefully sliding some sticky tape thru the joint to clear any loose stuff out. But this sounds like there might be more going on here, and the hinge is something that you do not want to fool with.

This is something I've been wondering. I am a bit like you, I like being able to have a glance at emails or Facebook updates without having to log in, and I think it would be great to be able to turn off the notification switching the screen on, especially for emails as I do get a lot, and Facebook, but I somehow doubt it is possible.
I am currently monitoring how much this eats up my battery charge. On a normal day, after an overnight charge, I would probably still have 30%-40% left when I leave work in the evening. Today, I was down to 48% by lunchtime, where I've usually got a good 60-70% left... Might have to turn email notifications off on lock screen until it's possible to have them appearing in the list without flashing me...

You can lock your screen from rotating. Double-click the home button, then slide your finger to the right until your get to the iPod section. There you click the icon on the left and that will lock your screen. You can unlock it the same way.

We have a report that display the data at a calendar week level. The start of the week currently show as Monday( retreived from FM - WEEK_GET_FIRST_DAY).
Is there a global setting in source system to change the start day of the week from Monday to Sunday? I can always make this change in the transformation but would like to know if there is a global option to make this change so the rest of the reports display the same.

Instead of using the funtion module you can just write the 3 statements of code to get the first day of the week.
Its similar to the above one but instead of writing case statement you can achive the following.
data : w_res type i,
w_data type d,
w_res = w_date mod 7.
w_date = w_date - w_res.
write w_date.
This works.

I have a 2006 iMac G5 with a broken screen (20"). I also have a 2004 G5 with a bad video card. Can the screen from the 2004 fit into the 2006 as a replacement?

You need to be able to:
- Read those files from your old machine.
- Transfer them to the new machine.
Unless you were intending to buy an external drive anyway, you don't need to buy the external drive just to transfer files. As long as your old machine is connected on the same network, you can transfer the files using Network File Sharing from your PC to your Mac.
I would however recommend purchasing the drive to use for backups with your Mac. Time Machine on Mac makes backups a breeze.

You can reduce the screen time out time down to 15 seconds thereby reducing the battery usage to that short time period. Energy Saver, you can keep the computer awake while the screen saver shuts the monitor off but I'm not sure that would do it for you.

Did you use the follow up action in the UD code selection? It looks from the error that program is unable to find the UD code.
Kindly check the configurations in QM and see that everything is working fine?
Alternatively, if you are using the follow up action, then remove that first. Do the GR using MIGO -- this will create the inspection lot. Confirm the inspection using QA11 by entering the UD code for acceptance. Thereafter the the stock will rest in QI status. Use MB1B and perform the transfer posting with movement 321 to bring the stock to unrestricted use.
