Could anyone provide me an example about how to generate digital signature for Google Maps service v3 in PL/SQL? We tried to upgrade our program using Google maps service from v2 to v3. We are using PL/SQl on background to send request to Google for geocoding. We found some sample code to register with digital signature, but none of them is based on PL/SQl. Notice I used Google business client ID "gme-XXX" and wallet.

I think there is something wrong with my code to generate signature, as if I remove the part regarding client and signature, it will work, can anyone help me on this problem?

I am experiencing exactly the same issue - iMac, 10.6.8. Thanks for reporting it - I thought I was going nuts. What happens from here? Does Apple watch these postings? Do we just hope that they find the bug themselves? Is there a vehicle for reporting bugs directly to Apple?

I updated my software for my Iphone and my maps disapperead. New maps provided by Apple or of significantly worse quality than my previous Googke maps. How can I get my Google maps back?

How can I get rid of Apple Maps and Put the Google Maps back?
I wanted to know how to remove the Apple Maps and reinstall the Google Maps. The Apple Maps is a very inferior programme and not worth the space on the. Computer. It can't find anything. It's a complete waste of time.
So my original question is, how to get rid of it, and put the Google Maps back?CHances are google maps are never coming back as part of the bundled OS. Apple and Google seem to have parted ways (possibly has something to do with Google having their apps on other devices from other manufacturers but no one knows for sure)
Since preinstalled apps cannot be deleted, the most you can do is ignore the icon, shove it back on a back menu page (I have a 4th menu page on my iPad containing nothing but the bundled apps I consider worthless. I just ignore that page and never go there) and then put a shortcut to google maps on your iPad or find a third party map app you like better. -

You don't. You can use Safari and go to mobile Google maps and after opening that, tap on the arrow on the bottom of the page and save it to the homescreen. That will allow you to use Google maps web app on the phone. There is a rumor that Google is working on a stand alone app for the App store however no one knows yet if it has been submitted.

Go to maps.google.com, after the page comes up, in the bottom center of Safari, tap the box/arrow and you can add the shortcut to the homescreen. This is the best you can do if/when Google releases a stand-alone app for iOS.

I just updated my iphone to OS 6.0, and by doing so the Google maps app, which was working quite fine, got replaced with an Apple map app, which is significantly inferior and doesn't feature Streetview. Hi Eric. I did add Google using CalDAV. It seemed to work and sync changes instantly. However, I still needed to keep my "synchronize with google" account on "on my Mac". This made no sense to me. Why do I need both of these to make Google contacts sync properly?
Something I did find out: My "synchronize with google" account on "on my Mac" did eventually sync with my google account (please ignore the CalDAV comment for this point). However, it took multiple hours for the syncing to occur. So, the original way I tried to do it (explained in my original post) did work, but it took multiple hours for the auto syncing to occur. This is a failure from an autosyncing perspective.
While I did come up with a work around using a second CalDAV account in additon to my original "synchronize with google" account, I am still confused on the right way to do it. Any guidance would be appreciated.

How do I get google maps app that came installed on phone back after I mistakenly deleted it ? It doesn't show on my apps page since it was preloaded on the phone ? Is there a way to restore it without having to do a complete restore?
Nope. Power cycle the phone first (turn it off, then on) to see if it just needs to be rebooted.
If not, it's not really that big of a deal. Connect to iTunes, let it sync, click the "restore" button and let it restore. When it asks if you want to restore your data back onto the phone, say yes, and when it's done, you'll be right where you are now plus the google map application and all your data.
What gets me is... how do you "accidentally" delete an undeletable system application? The only way I know would be to jailbreak the phone, so, if it is jailbroken, be sure you can get it re-jailbroken, ( and unlocked if necessary) as well before it will be usable for the telephone function. -
