GotoAndStop at the the root of the timeline

HI
I have a movie clip with onRollOver and onRollOut script
attached. When clicked I would like the root of the timeline to
move to a different label. At present I have tried the following
first script on the MC to move the root timeline, however this is
not working and I assume this is due to the complexity of the movie
clip:
I have therefore used the following 2nd script for the first
frame of the timeline within the MC which works with getURL but I
am unable to get it to work with moving the root of the timeline.
Do I need to add .root somewhere? Thanks

  • What is the default root of the servlet engine in IPlanet v6?

    I am trying to get java based code to work on IPlanet's webserver/servlet engine version 6. The servlets are being inited, but they can't find their .properties files (xml variable files). I have been able to install this code on many servlet engines including JRun, Tomcat, and Jserv by placing the .property files into the default root of the servlet engine. In JRun, for example, it would be Allaire/Jrun/servers/default. I have tried placing them in several directories and adding them individually to the classpath, but still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
    Please place your claspath in jvm12.conf file.
    Which will be under /server-root/https-instance/config/jvm12.conf.
    For more info about how to set classpath for running servlet. Please look out the below link.

  • How do I change the context-root of a web app with a deployment plan?

    I've been trying to figure this out for several hours.
    I'm deploying a .ear file which sets the context root for the single web application it deploys in its application.xml deployment descriptor:
    <application>
    <display-name>MyApp</display-name>
    <module>
    <web>
    <web-uri>MyAppViewControler.war</web-uri>
    <context-root>MyApp</context-root>
    </web>
    </module>
    </application>
    I want to change the context-root from /MyApp to something else when deploying the ear file. It seemed to me that using a deployment plan was the way to do this. But when I use this plan:
    <deployment-plan>
    <application-name>MyApp<application-name>
    <variable-definition>
    <variable>
    <name>NEWCONTEXTROOT</name>
    <value>foobar</value>
    </variable>
    </variable-definition>
    <module-override>
    <module-name>MyApp</module-name>
    <module-type>ear</module-type>
    <module-descriptor external="false">
    <root-element>application</root-element>
    <uri>META-INF/application.xml</uri>
    <variable-assignment>
    <name>NEWCONTEXTROOT</name>
    <xpath>/application/module/web/context-root</xpath>
    </variable-assignment>
    </module-descriptor>
    </module-override>
    </deployment-plan>
    I get an error:
    weblogic.descriptor.DescriptorException: VALIDATION PROBLEMS WERE FOUND
    /bea/user_projects/domains/devod1/nullplan.xml:0: problem: cvc-complex-type.2.4a: Expected element 'web-uri@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee' instead of 'context-root@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee' here in element web@http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee:<nullplan.xml>
    I looked at http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs103/pdf/deployment.pdf which says:
    "You cannot use a deployment plan to change the context-root in an application.xml
    file. However, if an application is deployed as a library, you can either change the
    context-root through an weblogic-application.xml file or use the deployment plan
    to change the context-root in an weblogic-application.xml file."
    I don't understand what this means. I'm not deploying my application as a library.
    Does anyone know how to change the context-root for an application?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I do not know wether i will require the other module descriptor definition in this Plzn.xml. Now when I go to following link.
    Deployments --&gt; MyApp --&gt; Testing
    It gives me following url as a test page:
    http://localhost:7001/BrowserWeb/servlet/BrowserServlet
    as soon as i click on to the above link it redirects me to following.
    http://localhost:7001/BrowserWeb/servlet/BrowserServlet/servlet/BrowserServlet
    Same if i remove these context-root part my normal Testing menu shows me following link as my webapp access path
    http://localhost:7001/BrowserWeb &lt;-- My war file name is BrowserWeb.war so it is default name of my deployed application if i am not wrong
    and as soon as i click on above link it redirects me to the following one.
    http://localhost:7001/BrowserWeb/servlet/BrowserServlet
    It means application server know that my full web access page is with '*servlet/BrowserServlet*' because its adding it in both the cases.
    What I want is a constant URL whcih does not change?
    Hope this helps :)

  • Changing the document root in WLS 6.0 SP1

    Hello,
              I want to change the deployment folder of
              config/<domainName>/applications
              to another folder in our source tree. Is this possible? The reason we
              want to do this is because our root tree contains the java source code
              and web-related content in our configuration management system. It
              would seem very odd to map our web-related stuff to
              /WLS6.0sp1/config/<mydomain>/applications and everything else to the
              standard structure.
              In 5.1, setting the weblogic.httpd.documentRoot property does this.
              However, I understand that WLS 6.0 uses a classloader for the
              /applications directory. Can I use a system to property to notify WLS
              6.0 to look at a different directory instead?
              There seems to be error in docs related to this.
              http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs60///////config_xml/properties.html
              Says DocumentRoot entry can be set in config.xml.
              But the entry is not found in DTD (config.dtd)
              http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs60///////config_xml/config.html
              Thanks.

    Bahar,
              The docs you pointed out is absolutely right. There is no error in the
              document.
              If you want to change the document root make the following
              modifications in your config.xml as per the example here:
              <Application Deployed="true" Name="DefaultWebApp_myserver"
              Path="d:\docmain">
              <WebAppComponent Name="DefaultWebApp_myserver"
              Targets="myserver" URI="www"/>
              </Application>
              Where Your document root is : d:\docmain\www
              Make sure that you have web.xml under
              d:\docmain\www\WEB-INF

  • Removing the dummy root element

    Looks like I created a topic that cannot
    be replied to! The topic maintainers will
    have to delete it.
    After looking at the XMLSample code I realized my mistake... oops!
    A quick edit turned off the <root>
    containment. Not sure why it's there in
    the sample in the first place.
    For anyone else who tries this, here's the
    change to remove the dummy root element:
    The new code in XMLSample.java is:
    out.appendChild(result);
    instead of:
    // create a dummy document element for the
    // output document
    Element root = out.createElement("root");
    out.appendChild(root);
    // append the transformed tree to the dummy
    // document element
    root.appendChild(result);
    null

    Hi,
    Please try deleting the xml files corresponding to the dimensions from the backend and try opening the dimension member sheet.
    For deleting the XML file follow the workaround in my reply of the below thread,

  • What is the webapp root url?

    I have some problems resolving urls in my webapp jsp. The webapp is packaged in
    a war file inside a ear file. in the ear file's application.xml, I specified
    that the context root for the webapp to be /foo. However, if I wrote in my jsp
    a uri like /bar, it takes me to http://localhost:7001/bar, instead of http://localhost:7001/foo/bar.
    how can i use the webapp root context in my jsp?
    -hoki

    I guess you will have to use the servlet-mapping in the web.xml to do the mapping.

  • Play a movieclip once, then go to the next frame on the main timeline

    Hello, I'm sorry for the long topic's title.
    I have an animation I'd like to use as an INTRO in my flash
    movie. I will joint it inside a movieclip, giving it the istance
    name "INTRO". And I position it in the first frame of the main
    timeline.
    How can I make possible that played once my intro (my
    movieclip) the player jumps to the second frame of the timeline,
    named by the istance "HOME".
    Is it possible?
    Thankyou very much for your help,
    and great things.
    Stebianchi

    on intro's first frame place:
    if(!this.played){
    _level0.gotoAndStop(2);
    and on its last frame place:
    this.stop();
    this.played=true;
    _level0.gotoAndStop(2);
    // or this.removeMovieClip(), if this is no longer ever used.
    and if you use this, you don't need the frame 1 code.

  • What are the time units dsiplayed in timeline?

    this might be a dumb question, but I wanted to time an event I taped with my sony hd camera.  i imported the clip into pe 9 and tried to judge the time by looking frame by frame at the timeline.   the units appear like this 01:30;25.    but the final two digits jump from 25 to 00.   what the heck does that mean?   are these frame units, seconds, a novel timekeeping system invented by adobe?    i realize a video camera is not a timekeeping instrument, so perhaps I'm asking too much...but now I'm curious... what are these units displayed in the timeline, and why do they jump at the increments they do?   set by my sony camera?  or adobe?
    thanks...
    david

    David,
    For most recorded footage, it is 29.97, though there are a few cameras, that really do shoot at 30 FPS. Using Interpret Footage, and looking at the FPS, should give you the real detail.
    Unfortunately, camera mfgrs. play a tad "fast and loose" with their exact specs. It is tough to get to the real answer, to the question that you are asking.
    Going back decades, stereo equipment mfgrs. used some "highly inflated" wattage numbers, and the consumers were first confused, and then a bit outraged. In time, they settled on more realistic numbers, and terms. Do you remember the RMS (Root Mean Square) wars with auido gear?
    Wish that I had a 100% accurate answer for you.

  • How can I optimize just the video on a project timeline?

    Hi everyone,
    I've been working on a 1 hour documentary using original non-optimized media, now that I'm approaching the final steps of the edit I would like to optimize all the video in the timeline, but NOT all the footage I have in the events.
    I did NOT optimized my media on import: all my events and project are made up of video non-converted, just imported. I did that because I didn't have enough storage to transcode to ProRes the whole 40 hours of footage.
    The folders now full of media in Final Cut Events are the "original media" ones.
    Now I'll add some title, subtitles and color-correction and I want to be a little more fast. Then I'll step in the "export" zone, and I know it is much better to export from optimized media than from original media, that's why I want a 'ProRes opimized media' project timeline.
    Thank you in advance to anyone with advices!

    Thank you Tom,
    at least I know there is no need I keep on wondering "WHY?"...
    This impossibility to transcote footage on timeline seem to me a big downside to this new version... I just have in mind all the options for managing media in FCP 7...
    Thank you again,
    always read your tips: veru useful!

  • The square root free Cholesky factorization

    The Attached code calculates the square root free Cholesky factorization (LDL'), it is very useful to decompose matrices and in my specific case, to make observability analysis within electrical distribution networks. I'm publishing it because LV counts with other kind of decompositions like the LU decomposition, very useful but for my case, the values delivered by LDL' are more accurate and easier to calculate.

    Davis,
    How easy do you think it would be to port this over to the FPGA environment?  Just a quick inspection shows the NaN check and I am not sure how this plays into the porting of the code.
    This is exactly what I have been working on today and would have saved myself some time if I had known someone smarter than myself had already pieced this out.   Thanks a lot!

  • Calculating the square root...

    Hi all,
    let me shortly sketch the situation.
    I have a number of fields that I select from the database (coming from different queries)
    that I need to do calculations on...
    so far, I was able to do most of those calculations, but now I'm stuck.
    One of my calculations contains a square root.
    So I got something like:
    VARIABLE1 + VARIABLE2 + SQRT(3*VARIABLE1)
    with VARIABLE1 being a multiplication of several other fields.
    my question: is there an xsl or xdofx function to calculate the square root? Or any other solutions for my problem?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
    Wkr,
    Filip

    You can use like this.
    <?xdoxslt:pow(10,2)?>
    <?xdoxslt:pow(10,3)?>
    <?xdoxslt:pow(10,4)?>

  • Error:  The local root folder, ZZZZZZ, does not exist.  Please...

    Dreamweaver newest - Cloud
    Windows 7 Prof 64b SP1
    Everyday now upon firing up Dreamweaver I am getting the same error. As long as I worked on this certain site last the day before, dreamweaver of course tries to load that site upon the next startup.
    The error:  The local root folder, ZZZZZZ, does not exist.  Please choose a new local root folder
    I have typed the path myself and browsed to it many times.  When I go into the Site manager/edit site to correct this, it already has the correct path listed there.  If I just leave what is there and hit save, it doesn't work.  Once re entering is done it allows me to work on the site again. Connecting to remote/upload files and everything works fine.  I can close DW and reopen and all will be fine, for a while.    If I close it and maybe two hours later come back to work on it, DW will report that same error again on startup.
    Other editors of the site with same cloud version of DW and same site settings are not having this error. We've combed for differences.
    I've deleted the site definition altogether and recreated it.  It does not stop the error.
    I found some old references to this issue in the old macromedia forums dealing with Mac and spaces or odd characters being an issue in the local folder path. I'm on windows, but the complaints sounded so similar I decided to try a test suggested there.  Their suggestion was to create a new blank html file, without saving, add some text, select the text, use the link icon in the properties manager to drag a link out to any file in the files panel.  Upon doing so, DW creates a full local path that you can see in your html since you haven't saved the file yet.  The suggestors of this test said you should see if your "mac" and DW was having trouble with spaces or odd characters in the path.   Well the following path shows a PIPE character being created in the path by DW on my test page.
    file:///W|/private/09 Websites/zzzzzz/index.html
    Could this be showing there is some kind of issue that I need to correct?  Or is this typical?  See the pipe character being listed after the network drive letter of W
    Our local root folder path:
    W:\private\09 Websites\zzzzzz\
    Server Settings:
         Root Directory:
    public_html/zzzzzz.com/
         Web URL:

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Is this how your remote setting is defined? If it is, do you have a folder called zzzzz.com on your remote server trailing public_html? Ideally public_html is your website root - index.html resides within that, unless your configuration states otherwise.
    To come to your actual question of the local root folder, yes, your file manager wont show files if the connection fails. However, accessing it depends on the permissions you have on your network drive. Have you checked that?
    I'm not sure why our guy has another folder underneath public_html. My guess is he has some company related hosted test folders for various things under there.  I can see a couple other folders under public_html while checking with filezilla. I suppose he just directed our domain to our web folder under public_html.
    Again, two others here are using these exact same settings with no root folder errors from DW. We've checked many times and all is the same for them.
      Here are some screen grabs of the settings if this makes it more clear.
    This last one showing the remote connection address under the files/assets panel is the one that looks strange to me.  It shows a home folder / then a folder with our site name / then public_html / then our sitename.com .    Seems convoluted to me.  But it works for everyone else so I'm not sure if this error I'm getting has anything to do with these settings or if there is just some old DW settings file hung up in my system that I need to find and delete or what.
    Thanks for any ideas.

  • My contacts are organized in different groups. An iPhone trade show app (Vinexpo) displays exhibitors infos and allows to create new contacts. Is there any way to save a new contact in a specified group instead of the contacts root? Thks in advance

    My contacts on my iPhone are organized in different groups. I have downloaded a trade show app which gives infos on the exhibitors of the show. It offers to create new contacts from these info. Is there any way to save these new contacts in a specified group instead of putting them into the contacts root, where they are mixed with all the old ones? By the way, can we create a new contacts group directly from the IPhone, without having to go through the sync process with the PC?
    Thanks a lot in advance

    Sorry, I forgot to bookmark the thread where the app was mentioned, but searching for "group" or "contacts" should bring a few results in the AppStore.

    Hi, After I try to load either an existing or new project in Adobe Premier Elements 9 I just get a blank grey screen with none of the timeline, etc. boxes on view. This has suddenly happened, one day OK next not! At the top of the screen I get the normal Pre icon, File, Edit, Clip, etc.
    I am planning on purchasing Premier Elements 13, would it be better if I bought a new program rather than download an upgrade, just in case the upgrade doesn't load properly due to the error with my existing program?
    If I the deleted Premier Elements 9 on my PC would I lose all my existing videos that were produced using Premier Elements 9 or would they be saved so that they can still be worked on in Premier Elements 13?
    Does Premier Elements 13 work with Windows 7?
    Thanks
    Terry

    Premiere Elements 13 absolutely works with Windows 7!
    In fact, I'd highly recommend you download the free trial and give it a test run.
    Meantime, go to Windows Update and make sure you have all of the latest Windows updates, including those that don't install automatically. Then go to the nVidia or ATI site and ensure you have the latest driver for your graphics card, and go to Apple.com and ensure you have the latest version of Quicktime, per the program's requirements.

    Failed to start ASM
    Failed to start Oracle Clusterware stack
    [root@rac2 grid]#
    As we see the output above, at the end of the output
    1) Start of resource ora.asm -init failed
    2) Failed to start ASM
    3) Failed to start Oracle Clusterware stack
    The runInstaller is in the first VM rac1. My question is:
    Do any folk understand how to solve the script root.sh in rac2 problem ( 3 fails of ora.asm, ASM and Clusterware stack as above) ?
    Thanks.
