GR processing time can be customer based

Hi,
Would like to know whether for  GR Processing Time can be customer based instead of setup in Material master?
   Please kindly advise. Thanks
Regards,
shirley

Hi There
What you meant by shortage,,,
AV- Available date,
GR- Availble date+GR processing time
if you have not set up the GR processing time in Master, it may come as ZERO days,, so AV and GR date may be same,,
if this is not your quesry, please provide more details on your query,,,
Thanks

  • Planned orders are not taking into account the processing time

    Hi,
Could you please tell me why planned orders quantities are not based on processing time from the material master.
Materials was set before with 1 day in house production , no matter of lot size.
Based on routings I updated material master with processing time depending on lot size.
What is bottering me now is that planned orders are not taking into account processing time. (e.g.  based on my processing time 1000 pce are produced  in 3 days, but planned orders show me that 1000 pce are still need  in 1 day , but it  can not be produced in 1 day   ).
    what did I miss?
Thanks a lot for any information!

    Hello Simona
The in house production time from tab MRP 2 is lot size independent.
However, on tab work scheduling you can define a lot size dependent times.
Please observe that, if you have entered an in house production time, the processing time will not be considered. The F1 help of the field provides the following explanation:
You can define work scheduling times in the material master record in one of two ways:
Either you enter the in-house production time. If required, you can get the system to update this value from the routing.
Or you enter the setup, teardown, processing, and interoperation times. If you maintain these values, the system determines the in-house production time on the basis of lot size.
Therefore, if you want to consider the processing time, you should remove the in house processing time.

  • DMV Query -- all Catalogs and last processed time

    Hi
I want to get a list of all catalogs & there last processed time, can you join the two DMV queries ?
    SELECT * FROM $System.DBSCHEMA_CATALOGS
    SELECT CUBE_NAME, LAST_DATA_UPDATE FROM $System.MDSCHEMA_CUBES

I just used the one query , I was trying to list out all the catalogs and illustrate in an excel pivot table, unfortunately the last processed date is not available in the DBSCHEMA_CATALOGS
    c
In order to get the last processed date I would have to connect to each Catalog to retrieve the data making it useless for excel, as the Last processed date in only available in the $System.MDSCHEMA_CUBES
    schema
    SELECT CUBE_NAME, LAST_DATA_UPDATE FROM $System.MDSCHEMA_CUBES
    Hi Carlo,
In your scenario, you list out the catalogs using the query below
    SELECT * FROM $System.DBSCHEMA_CATALOGS
And get the last processed date using the query below.
    SELECT CUBE_NAME, LAST_DATA_UPDATE FROM $System.MDSCHEMA_CUBES
Now what you want to know if we can use the Join function to join those two queries, right?
The query engine for DMVs is the Data Mining parser. The DMV query syntax is based on the SELECT (DMX) statement. Although DMV query syntax is based on a SQL SELECT statement, it does not support the full syntax of a SELECT statement. Notably, JOIN, GROUP
BY, LIKE, CAST, and CONVERT are not supported.
So your requirement cannot be achieve currently.
    Thank you for your understanding.

  • Can anyone help with a method to ignore GR Processing Time during STO Creation?

On my current client, we have a unique business scenario where we need to maintain GR processing time to reflect "incubation or hold" time for products after production. It is absolutely necessary that the products should not be available to ship to the customers until this "incubation or hold" time is elapsed and the products are inspected & ready for customer shipments. However, the products can be shipped to other DCs within the client's internal network while the products are under "incubation" as it can take place while the products are in-transit. Therefore, the products are available for shipping immediately after production within the client's internal network of DCs. This is why we need a mechanism to ignore the GR processing time while the products are shipped on STOs within the network. At the same time the GR processing time should be considered while the products are shipped against customer SOs outside the network.
To explain the scenario a bit further, this is a simple scenario: Factory A --> DC1 --> DC2. Factory A produces products to be stored and DC1, which ships to its own customers as well as to DC2 to fulfil customer demand at DC2. "Incubation" time of products is performed in DC1. Therefore, Sales Orders at DC1 should not be able to ship until this "incubation" time has elapsed at DC1. This can be accomplished by maintaining GR processing time equal to "incubation or hold" time at DC1 and it works well for Sales Order and its Delivery ATP check. On the other hand, STOs from DC1 to DC2 can ship immediately after production while the product is still under "incubation" as the required hold time can elapse while the products are in-transit between DC1 and DC2. Therefore, STO & its Delivery ATP check should consider production from factory A to be immediately available after production. Note that the incoming production from factory A is represented by an STR between factory A and DC1. Per my research this functionality is not available in standard SAP as GR processing time is considered in ATP check for both SOs and STOs. However, if anyone knows of a way to separate out ATP check for SOs and STOs where SO considers GR processing time while STO does not then that would greatly help.
    Appreciate any suggestions or solutions.
    Regards,
    Jagjeet.

  • How to calculate the Processing time for material based on its route ?

    Hello experts,
I would like to calculate the Scheduled in-house production time based on route.
Actually this is done in the prod. route in tcode CA02. (via menu Extras => scheduling => schedule).
After getting the schedule table press the 'scheduling results' button I received the Processing time, Setup and teardown time,... Scheduled in-house production time.
So I'm looking for a function or any tool to use it in report.
    thanks,
    Eli

    hi,
from routing screen, extras>scheduling>schedule(give a variant name)>scheduling results>update material master.this writes the info in the temp file.use tcode CA96 to update material master.this updates lot size dependent in house production time in work scheduling view of material master and  deletes the lot size independent inhouse prod, time in MRP2 view.this tool gives more accurate results  for your  inhouse prod. time.

Hi i have 50 infoobjects as part of my aggregates and in that 10 infoobjects have received changes in masterdata.so in my process chain the Attribute change run in running for a long time.can i kill the job and repeat the same.

    Hi,
I believe this would be your Prod system, so don't just cancel it but look at the job log. If it is still processing then don't kill it and wait for the change run to complete but if you can see that nothing is happening and it is stuck for a long time then you can go ahead and cancel it.
But please be sure, as these kind of jobs can create problems if you cancel them in the middle of a job.

  • Is it possible to bill customer based on burden cost? (Dina..if u can help)

    Hello Experts,
There is one scenario where business is insisting to bill their external customer based on burden cost and not by raw cost.
I belive oracle projects billing doesnt support billing on burden cost. Am I correct?
This scenario is only applicable to specific materials which is procured and budened later on. Only for this type of cost business wants to billed to extern customer based on burden cost amount.
    Can some one help?
    Thanks
    Edited by: oracle_samba on Jul 13, 2012 4:01 AM

Use Burden Extensions and drive those specific projects
Create a lookup and add the projects which require burdening costs but not raw costs, write the burden extensions to calculate burden cost based on the projects defined in the lookup
    Thanks

  • Master data: maintain "Goods Issue Processing Time" in R3 and CIF it ?

    Hello,
we want to use the so called GIPRT (Goods Issue Processing Time) in the APO material master (Tab: GR/GI) to schedule SNP PREQs. I can maintain the field in APO but finally I'm looking for maintaining it in the conencted R3 material master (MM02). I see a field in R3 called MARC-GI_PR_TIME but after scanning the material master customizing I think you can't add that to any dynpro in MM01/02/03.
I wonder if this field (MARC-GI_PR_TIME) in R3 is truly meant for maintaining the Goods Issue Processing Time in R3 and transfering it to SCM via the CIF or whether its there but has no function or is maintained somewhere else in R3. Any idea ?
Workaround obviously would be to maintain the field in APO directly - but that's what I want to avoid since 99% of master data are coming from R3.
    Regards
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
You can implement user exit EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001 and can write code based on your requirement ( May be you want to transfer this GR time for some of the products only). You can push the values by this user exit for any field in APO.
    Thanks,
    Abhilasha

  • Unnecessary Purchasing Processing Time in scheduling agreement

According to its business logic, the scheduling agreement is a document  that has  already been  released  by purchasing department,  and  its scheduling lines, that have been created by MRP  are valid for goods receipt without any need for additional purchasing  processing time. However, MRP scheduling incorrectly takes purchasing processing time into account (as defined in the IMG in plant parameters for external procurement - TCODE  OPPQ) when calculating planned availability date. Please advise how to correct this issue.
    Best Regards,
    Itzik Eshed

    This can be customized in
    SAP Customizing Implementation Guide
    -> Production
    --> Material Requirements Planning
    ---> Planning
    > Procurement Proposals
    > Define External Procurement
Here you can select the indicator "Scheduling according to purchasing info record or agreement" either at plant or MRP group level.

  • Processing time

    Hi guys,
my question is this: I should to use the Processing time(WRPL-BZTEK) defined in customizing (SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Requisition>Processing Time) in according to material type and not to side/division as such is now.
My purpose is to enlarge the processing time purchasing (or the planned delivery time) to modify the delivery date scheduled by MRP.
Is there a user-exit\Badi to implement this?Is necessary to modify the standard and if this is the one way how and where can I act?
    Thanks in advance to all,bye
    Maximilian

    Hello, Riva
    Processing Time: (configuration setup)
Here, you define the plant-specific purchasing department processing time.
And the processing time is the time required by the buyer to convert a requisition into a purchase order. And the processing time is taken into account during the scheduling process for externally procured materials within the framework of materials planning and control.
    Actions
    Suggestion:
Maintain the purchasing department processing time for each plant.
Processing time required by purchasing department.
-> Time that the purchasing department requires to convert a purchase requisition into a purchase order.
The usage of this configuration setup is
-> The purchasing department processing time is included in the computation of the delivery date.
Table Name: WRPL (i.e, for Replenishment: quantities per customer/material)
Field Name: SRP_BZTEK (i.e, for Processing time required by purchasing department)
Data element: BZTEK (i.e, data element for processing time for purchase department)
If you want to change the length of the field BZTEK (allowable characters is 2), you can do it, by modifying the TWO TABLES (i.e, T399D (Control parameters for MRP &
WRPL (Replenishment: quantities per customer/material)) using the Acess key (from SAP)
Importent Note: Before you modify it, you need to check with the PP &MM (since this requirement belongs to both modules)
Suggestion: As per my knowledge this (processing time for PR) configuration setup is for the plant (or plants).
    Hope this will clarifies you,
    Reward, if it helps,
    Regards,
    Srin.K
