How to calculate the Processing time for material based on its route ?
Hello experts,
I would like to calculate the Scheduled in-house production time based on route.
Actually this is done in the prod. route in tcode CA02. (via menu Extras => scheduling => schedule).
After getting the schedule table press the 'scheduling results' button I received the Processing time, Setup and teardown time,... Scheduled in-house production time.
So I'm looking for a function or any tool to use it in report.
thanks,
Eli
hi,
from routing screen,extras>scheduling>schedule(give a variant name)>scheduling results>update material master.this writes the info in the temp file.use tcode CA96 to update material master.this updates lot size dependent in house production time in work scheduling view of material master and deletes the lot size independent inhouse prod, time in MRP2 view.this tool gives more accurate results for your inhouse prod. time.

How to find the Execution Time for Java Code?
* Hi everyone , i want to calculate the execution time for my process in java
* The following was the ouput for my coding,
O/P:-
This run took 0 Hours ;1.31 Minutes ;78.36 Seconds
*** In the above output , the output should come exactly what hours , minutes and seconds for my process,
but in my code the minutes are converted into seconds(It should not)...
* Here is my coding,
static long start_time;
public static void startTime()
start_time = System.currentTimeMillis();
public static void endTime()
DecimalFormat df = new DecimalFormat("##.##");
long end_time = System.currentTimeMillis();
float t = end_time - start_time;
float sec = t / 1000;
float min = 0, hr = 0;
if (sec > 60) {
min = sec / 60;
if (min > 60) {
hr = min / 60;
System.out.println("This run took " + df.format(hr) + " Hours ;"+ df.format(min) + " Minutes ;" + df.format(sec) + " Seconds");
}* How to Calcualte exact timing for my process....
* Thanks* Hi flounder, Is following code will wotk perfectly?
public static void endTime()
DecimalFormat df = new DecimalFormat("##.##");
long end_time = System.currentTimeMillis();
float t = end_time - start_time;
float sec = t / 1000;
float min = 0, hr = 0;

How to increase the waiting time for response in Adapter Engine not in IE
Hi Experts,
It is a SOAP to Proxy Synchronous interface. SOAP system is sending the request to PI, PI sending the same request to ECC system, After execution of some logic response back to PI in 7 minutes. In ABAP Stack(sxmb_moni) processing the response message also successfully with success flag after completion of these 7 minutes. But exactly 5 minutes later getting the error at Java Stack RWB- in communication channel monitoring i.e
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessageExpiredException: Message bd2bf8d0-b2c2-11e0-c383-001cc4fb5cb7(OUTBOUND) expired. We have set the "runtime-HTTP_TIMEOUT" parameter as 3600. thats why in Integration engine it is processing successfully.
kindly suggest me how to increase the waiting time for response in Adapter Engine. Exactly after 5 mins getting the above error in rwb, but in Integration Engine getting successful flag after 7 mins until then it is waiting for response with status flag Log version.

How to accelerate the processing time of pattern match
How to accelerate the processing time of pattern match
If my camera acquire an image in 50ms, but when we analyze this image with pattern match, we need about 300ms. Except using queue to seprate acquisition
and analysis to different loops, there is another way to directly accelerate the processing time of pattern match ? Maybe compact rio with FPGA ?
But I saw a paper in NI web, there is no this function in c-rio ?
Any suggersion will be very apperciated ~

aa.png 65 KBHello,
what matching algorithm are you using? You can reduce time using the Gaussian pyramids algorithm.You can fine tune the parameters using the advanced options.
What is your template size/image resolution?
I suppose using a computer with better performance would also work...

What is Microsoft's official policy regarding the processing time for HCK2.1 Driver Submissions?
Can someone point me to a document that states the official policy stating their maximum review time? This info used to be in the WLK1.6 FAQ but I don't see it for the HCK2.1 suite.
Thanks!
AlIan,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm sure LabVIEW uses the (default) Windows timer. And yes, 1 mS is not guaranteed due to the preemptive nature of Windows (and even "RTOSs" to varying degrees), which is why I see about plus or minus 2 mS.
Apparently the Windows timer can be set by API calls. See: http://www.lucashale.com/timer-resolution/. Here's a screen shot of his TimerResolution.exe on a Windows 7 PC:
Here it is on my Windows XP PC after I set it to "Maximum" (initially it was 15.625 mS):
Notice that it sets the Maximum to less than 1 mS, which is supposed to be the max, so there are some bugs. Plus the Default button does not reset it in XP, but does work on Windows 7 or 8. (I know this is not the place to "debug" non-LabVIEW applications!)
I'll bet LabVIEW sets it, too. The only caveat, as I said, is it looks like another application can change it, since the hardware timer is a "global" timer. I have not seen this issue in my LabVIEW applications, have you?
I guess I need to do some more digging to see the code to set the timer, but it looks like the developers of LabVIEW have it figured it out.
(FYI, I did notice that running my LabVIEW app (which gives about 2 mS resolution) or a C# app, which gives 15.625 mS resolution, does not affect what TimerResolution.exe reports, so I'm not sure if it's really working correctly. If I figure it out I'll post the results.)

When will I receive my I phone 6 case which i ordered along with the I phone 6 ?As per the website it says October. How long is the wait time for the I phone 6 case?
While we have no idea within this Community Forum how long you would have to wait for your iPhone 6 Case, I can tell you that there would not be a "general" answer of value. Like any product that is available in different materials and colors, the inventory varies based on what you have specifically ordered. For example, I visited an Apple Store on the day after the iPhone 6 became available and was interested in the "Midnight Blue" Leather" Apple iPhone 6 Case. The store had plenty of all the other colors, but that specific case and color had sold out that morning.

How to show the processing time taken for a BPEL process in BAM report.
Hi All,
I have the data as below in the Data object. I would like to show the time taken for each order to complete in the report.
instance Id order Id product Name product Code price status instance Time updaterName
1360010 ord004 Guitar prod003 2000 requested 9/22/2008 12:12:11 PM Invoke_InsertSalesOrder
1360010 ord004 Guitar prod003 2000 Approved 9/22/2008 12:15:11 PM Invoke_OrderStatusUpdate
This data comes from simple BPEL process where sensors are configured at the start and end of BPEL process. Also have a human task activity in between to create the time difference.
In Enterprise link design studio, I tried to calculate the time difference using expression calculator and store it as calculated field. But that doesn't seems to work because when I execute the plan, second sensor data reaches only after human approval whereas first sensor data would be waiting for calculation and ultimately nothing comes into data object.
How and where the calculation be done to show the processing time in the report. Please someone throw some light on this.
Regards
Jude.
Edited by: user600726 on Sep 30, 2008 1:30 AMI would suggest modifying your data object so that the data can all be in a single row and use the sensor at the end of the process to upsert (update) the row created by the sensor at the start of the process. The time difference between two fields in the same row is then an easy calculation on a BAM report -- No EL plan should be needed.

How to calculate the % of time difference between different state
Hi there,
The below query returns the follwoign outptut. I need to calculate the % of time period that a specific state ( state ex: open or closed or all report )exists.

How to find the Response time for a particular Transaction
Hello Experts,
Am implementing a BAdI to achieve some customer enhancement for XD01 Transaction . I need to confirm to customer that after the implementation and before implementation what is the response time of the system
Response time BEFORE BAdI Implementation
Response time AFTER BAdI Implementation
Where can i get this.
Help me in this regard
Best Regards
SRiNiHello,
Within STAD, enter the time range that the user was executing the transaction within as well as the user name. The time field indicates the time when the transaction would have ended. STAD adds some extra time on using your time interval. Depending on how long the transaction ran, you can set the length you want it to display. This means that if it is set to 10, STAD will display statistical records from transactions that ended within that 10 minute period.
The selection screen also gives you a few options for display mode.
- Show all statistic records, sorted by star
This shows you all of the transaction steps, but they are not grouped in any way.
-Show all records, grouped by business transaction
This shows the transaction steps grouped by transaction ID (shown in the record as Trans. ID). The times are not cumulative. They are the times for each individual step.
-Show Business Transaction Tots
This shows the transaction steps grouped by transaction ID. However, instead of just listing them you can drill from the top level down. The top level will show you the overall response time, and as you drill down, you can get to the overall response time.
Note that you also need to add the user into the selection criteria. Everything else you can leave alone in this case.
Once you have the records displayed, you can double click them to get a detailed record. This will show you the following:
- Breakdown of response time (wait for work process, processing time, load time, generating time, roll time, DB time, enqueue time). This makes STAD a great place to start for performance analysis as you will then know whether you will need to look at SQL, processing, or any other component of response time first.
- Stats on the data selected within the execution
- Memory utilization of the transaction
- RFCs executed (including the calling time and remote execution time - very useful with performance analysis of interfaces)
- Much more.
As this chain of comments has previously indicated, you are best off using STAD if you want an accurate indication of response time. The ST12 (combines SE30 ABAP trace and ST05 SQL trace) trace times are less accurate that the values you get from ST12. I am not discounting the value of ST12 by any means. This is a very powerful tool to help you tune your transactions.
I hope this information is helpful!
Kind regards,
Geoff Irwin

How to find the process running for a specific cube on WINDOWS?
Hi,
how do we find the process of a cube and kill it if the server is a win 2003 server...
when i go to the task manaer and search I only see then as esssvr ? but how do I match them to the specif cubes??
in UNIX we can see them clearly as they have the cube name along with the pid and evertything else...
please let me know.
Thanks in advance.you actually have to go into the Essbase server log. When the application starts its pid is put in the log. I don't remember the mesage number, but it's in the log somewhere around a message started. Make sure you get the last started pid for an application. since the log can be for a long period, the application could have started multiple times

How to capture the process type for a particular application
In my application CRMD_BUS2000120 there are 3 process types namely incidents, zcomplaints and zrepair order. But all the 3 display the same description as New: Incidents . Since this is attached with the application name. How can i change the description according to the process type i select. If I select incidents the description should be Incident , if i select zcomplaints it should be zcomplaints. Can anyone guide me how to do this.
Thanks in Advance,
AnuHi Fred,
If you open any activities or opportunities, you can see the description if you select new button and click on the process type. It will be display Activities and below that New: Activity. Instead of always displaying the same description I want to override the description according to the process type. For me the application is not activity but Incident. Hope I am clear with the question.
Thanks,
Anu
