Hi all,
The following wlst command to add a system policy for CSF access is failing with a nameError. Am I missing a patch or something? Any help will be very much appreciated.

As it was stated in another thread with a similar issue (see below), I need to use the wlst.sh from the oracle_common directory and not the one from the WLS home directory.

[Solved] NameError: name 'clawsmail' is not defined

Hello,
I stumble on this problem and I logged a bug report to clawsmail.org.
However I could find the solution myself

It was something that one couldn't obviously think of.
At date my clawsmail version is 3.9.2

I should correct the title a bit, I filed a bu report on claws-mail site.
The issue is that no python scripting will run properly. It's supposed that the module will load automatically, but when I tried the simple command like help(clawsmail), it will trow a traceback because of NameError, clawsmail is not declared.
I was on my way to implement some python script to apply simple regex on incoming mails, but there I stopped.
It seems that statement fix the problem, but when I tried a bit further, the clawsmail died and disappeared.

Error executing sca_undeployComposite :NameError: sca_undeployComposite

We are getting this error :

Even when we are executing the script from MWHOME/soa/common/bin.
Steps that we have followed are:
Went to the location MWHOME/soa/common/bin. Executed ./wlst.sh at this location.
Able to execute connect command. connect(‘user’,’pwd’,’host:port')
But getting error when we try to execute third step sca_undeployComposite("host:port","LocalFileRead", "1.0",user="user",partition='xyz')

Yes we are able to launch wlst from MW_Home/oracle_common/common/bin and MW_Home/wlserver_10.3/common/bin. But getting same error Traceback (innermost last): File "<console>", line 1, in ?NameError: sca_undeployComposite when we try to execute sca_undeployComposite command.

Installation OIM on redhat Linux really slow

Hello,
I have a problem with the installation of OIM. When I try to install OIM on a linux server (redhat 5.0 64b) with the JRockit 64bits java 1.6.0 (jrmc 3.2.1-1.6.0) version the installer is just really slow. It takes ages for the command line installer to go to the next step.
has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

The machine on which OIM is to be installed has enough memory, I believe it has 8GB..
The weird thing is that the first time we ran the installer, it was just normal (== fast) but the installation failed when deploying OIM into Weblogic and we can't run the weblogic deploy script, since this also fails.. (it throws a nameError: fail on the configoim.py script) That's when we decided to try to install OIM again from scratch.. so we moved the current installation directory to another location and started the installation again. This when the problems as decribed by Bas began.. The installer is really really slow.. we waited for more then 15 minutes for it to continue to the next step.. but it didn't. We checked the machine for spiking processes but the machine was totally idle..
Does anyone know what could be the problem? Are we doing anything wrong? or are we missing something?

WLST command line utility "storeUserConfig()" is not working for 12c OHS

I am facing issue with WLST command line utility with "*storeUserConfig()*" command.
I have installed Standalone OHS 12c (Not managed OHS with WLS), configure and start the Node Manager.
I start the WLST command line utility from : <MW_HOME>/ohs/common/bin/wlst.sh
I connect node manager with : nmConnect('weblogic', 'welcome1', nmType='plain', domainName='base_domain')

I am not able to recognize this error. What should I need to do to create the User config file ?
Please suggest me the solution.

It's probably a little late for the original poster, but in case anybody else stumbles on this thread (like me today), I found a workable solution to this problem:
For a Standalone HTTP Server there exists in $domain_home/bin a command startComponent.sh or (on Windows) startComponent.cmd. This accepts as parameter the ComponentName which will typically be ohs1 and as second parameter storeUserConfig. Documentation on this can be found here:

startComponent.sh ohs1 storeUserConfig
Unfortunately this doesn't tell you where you'll find the config and key-File. However, on a second invocation I found that - at least on windows where I tested this - they get written into c:\users\<username>\.wlst so I'd expect them in the home directory on unix. After copying the files to a more common location, I was able to reference them the usual way (formatted for better readability):

Using WebCenter Spaces Web Service API through JDeveloper's Data Control

I'm trying to access WebCenter Spaces Web Service API (located at http://host:port/webcenter/SpacesWebService)
using JDeveloper's Web Center Data Control.
I created a data control in my portal project using JDeveloper's Web Service Data Control wizard.
I also created and configured key stores (jps-config.xml) at both sides (spaces server and my portal client).
How I created a data control:
* First I entered the name and the URL (http://host:port/webcenter/SpacesWebService?WSDL)
* Then I entered HTTP basic authentication details (user name and password)
* After that I drag-and-drop the getGroupSpaces() method from the data control to a .jspx page as a ADF read-only table.
* Then ran my portal project and navigated to this .jspx page and it worked. List of group spaces appeared well on that page.
The problem is that I got only public group spaces and group spaces created by the user I entered on HTTP basic authentication details.
I makes no sense to enter some static user details in a web service client (or a data control).
So the question is; can I use identity propagation to get only group spaces created by the same user which I logged in my portal?

Hi,
You generally get NameError when you are executing the createCred/updateCred from a incorrect location. Are you using the wlst from oracle_common\common\bin?
Also, In your steps I don't see what you did to populate the walllet at JDeveloper end after your updateCred failed. This is a required step. Use the wlst from the location emntioned above and you should be able to proceed.

How can I make my Contact Form send info to my email?

Greetings! I have below a contact form that i have creaed with some help but I can't seem to make it send the information to my email address after it is submitted. That is my most important issue right now.
A secondary issue is, can I make it so once this form is submitted it send the info to my email without doing a page redirect?

You can but you would need to send it as an html email which is much more complicated.

How can I use custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite in Weblogic

I'm trying to view and search the weblogic log files using WLST on a Solaris/Unix system.
I have come across this "custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite" and thought of using the custom logging commands to get my task done.
However, my WLST shell is not recognizing the commands and giving me the NameError!

I tried the commands listLogs, displayLogs, getLogLevel & setLogLevel but in vain!
I have followed the instructions as per the oracle recommendation of using Custom WLST commands (http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E29597_01/core.1111/e10105/getstart.htm#ASADM10692) as below
- Launched the WLST shell from Oracle Home.
cd ORACLE_HOME/common/bin
./wlst.sh
- Tried to run the listLogs command from domainRuntime()
I would like to know if I need to import any additional libraries to run the custom WLST commands for Oracle SOA Suite in my WLST shell?
I have only weblogic 10.3.1 server installed on my Solaris 10 machine on which I have deployed the OSB application software.
There is no SOA Suite installed.
Or is there any other way I can browse the Server Log file and get the list of log messages? Basically I would like to use this feature in my script to customize it according to my requirement of listing specific error logs which I can work it out if I know how to make these commands work.
Please advise if this is possible and how?

We have installed ALBPM Enterprise 6.0 for Weblogic edition to deploy ALBPM processes into Enterprise 6.0. I tried to configure directory through ALBPM admin center.
I have checked the below options and provided necessary information asked in the series of dialog boxes.
- Create Directory Service
- Create Process engine
- Create ALBPM application EARs
- BEA Weblogic Configuration
We get error in the last step (BEA weblogic configuration) stating that there is some problem in executing the WLST script:-
Problem invoking WLST - Traceback (innermost last):
File "C:\Documents and Settings\14360\.configWizard\tmp\config.py", line 640, in ?
NameError: engineType
We tried to deploy the ALBPM application EARs manually to weblogic. But there are lot of dependencies, so we couldn't successfuly deploy them.

I have found the reason for this... Actually i have ANT installed in my system prior to OIM installation... it was the culprit. Build was failing because i have two ANT's (one that comes with OIM and other ANT which is already installed)
I have removed the path and ANT_HOME environment variables.. .and my installation was successful

Export metadata

I am using the web center portal framework. I have added portals during runtime. I have deployed this application on a standalone server and I donot see the portals I created during runtime.
As far as my knowledge is concerned, these portals are saved in an MDS repository, which have to be exported via web logic scripting tool.
So, after logging in wlst using the integrated server ip address, i tried to use the "exportmetadata" command and I am getting the following error.

Typically the errors occur,when you are using wlst.cmd/sh command from wrong directory.

Bit of a headache

Hi all,
I have found this bit of javascript to validate a users form
input, but the problem is that it does it in steps - ie it will
check the name and if that isn't present it will stop the form and
display just the name error.
However I want it to display all the errors in one go (so if
the name AND the email is left blank, it will display both errors
at the same time!). I am sure it has to do with where you place the
return false value but after an hour of mucking about I just don't
seem to be able to get it to work.

Running wlst command in embeded mode results in error for deleteMetadata()

I need to use wlst command deleteMetadata() in embeded mode.

The command I use is:

This command works fine in wlst interactive mode, but when I put it in java, it errors out with the following. Looks like the:

Connect() works fine, only failing at deleteMetadata. Is there another jar/library that I need to include?

Try excuting the command below before invoking MDS commands:
interpreter.execfile($MW_HOME/oracle_common/common/wlst/mdsWLSTCommands.py);
