Graph auto display

Hi,
I created a bar graph with from/to date parameters. For the from/to dates I am defaulting date values.
Now when I login to that page, I want to display graph automatically i.e. graph should display with default parameter (from/to date ) values first time without pressing Go button.

Hi Varad,
As I told that I am initializing the default values to parameters, hence there is no chance of Null in parameter variables. I think handling the Null is not the solution. I think we have to submit the page automatically once it is loaded. We have to write a process for initializing(submitting) the page on load. but I don't know how to write this process. Please help.

XY graph datapoint display using cursor

Hello to all, I am using XY graph to display amplitude v/s time. While running the vi, data is continuously plooted on graph till user stops the vi. I want to add a feature such that, while running the vi, when user click on the graph on particular position using cursor, it should display corresponding time value and amplitude value of that point. I mean value of Y-axis corresponding to X-axis not the cursor position. When using cursor position, it is ok with X-axis but it shows the position of cursor for Y-axis (as property says) , and I want datavalue of that point not y-axis position.
I hope it is clear with question. Let me have some example...for y=x graph shown below, you can see for cursor x=4.4 and y=6.8, how to display corresponding datapoint which shoud be y=4.4

While creating (or even after you created), choose 'Snap to' Plot 0.
Don't let it be 'Free Dragging'

Auto display the last data in array

How can I auto display the new data in array without the scroll bar?

If i understand you, you want show last data of array.
You have use property node: IndexVals. You write there indexes of array frome there you want show the data.

Graph not displayed under Target- dbname- Performance

Performance graph not getting displayed in oem grid control. Here is how I am navigating to the screen: Targets->Databases->dbname->Performance. For some databases that are being monitored, the graph is displayed, for some it is not displayed. Is there any package or procedure that need to be executed to activate the graph.

10.2.0.3 is my grid version. I have 4 databases being monitored and 2 of them have the graph displayed. I am not seeing the graph for the other 2 databases. I went into preferences and checked the status of tuning packs and they are all enabled in the grid control. I am not sure what else to check for?

T440s Turn off auto display brightness

I'm trying to turn off the auto brightness on my T440 but nothing I found so far is working.
I edited all power plans and it turned off the Auto display brightness in windows 8.1, and i also disabled the "Display Power Saving Technology" in the graphics control panel under Power.
It's dimming even with cable plugged in. If the screen consists of mostly black images, it dims.. if there is white, it brightens.
Any help how I could fix this is appreciated! I have latest everything, all drivers, etc. I have latest System Update 5 update manager which downloaded and installed everything possible.

I seem to have fixed it.. but not sure what it was, I did a few things. I did another update which downloaded a Dependency manager which was critical.. and I also did a safe mode start which failed to start and nearly bricked the machine.. only a CD was able to revive the boot process.. it would boot to a blank screen with no start options even available.

Auto display HTML attachments in body / email sent from mac mail

Hi,
One of my clients has received an email written in MAC Mail, the email doesn't display correctly instead what would be the body of the email appears as an html attachment, he doesn't want to have to click the attachment to preview it as he doesn't have to
do this on the iphone (also an apple device hmm....), I cant see any way of making it auto display the html in the body without clicking it.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Can you confirm if the sender has this problem sending emails to other recipients?
Please logon your Webmail(or OWA), does that message display as an attachment as well?
If other Outlook recipients also see the email body as an attachment and you can verify it shows as an attachment on Web as well, I'm afraid we should blame the Apple Mail Client, since I've seen some Apple Mail users have this problem:

Kindly have the sender check if the setting like Edit > Attachments > Send Windows friendly Attachments
has been checked.

1. Run below query and assign this query in sales order customer field without selecting auto refresh option.

2. While creating Sales order, just press Shift + F2 to display BP code & Name

displaying the database name sure would be handy. As far as I can tell there is no way to do it from within a crystal field. Would like to be proven wrong though.However, if you happen to be using Oracle, you can create a command with the following query:SELECT global_nameFROM GLOBAL_NAMEadd global_name to your report footer or wherever you want the database name. As far as adding the table(s) used, not sure about that - it probably wouldn't be a terrible thing if you hard coded the table names in a text field, as they likely won't change very often.

OBIEE 11g - help formatting graphs / trellis displays

Hi, in OBIEE 11g I'm trying to display a simple trellis graph of win % for various baseball teams over a 10 year period. On the trellis - I would like to NOT show the vertical scale or horizontal scale. I.e. vertical currently showing 20%, 40%, etc. up to 100%, and horizontal showing 2001, 2002, etc.
Is there any way to turn off the scales on the various axis? I can turn off the "labels" so that it doesn't put the word "Year" under the horizontal axis, but I haven't been able to figure out how to actually turn off the year values.
This pretty much holds even on a "normal" non-trellis graph - I can't see how to turn off the axis values there either.

Edit Graph properties - > Style Tab -> Grpah Data- Style and Conditional Formatting -> Conditional Formatting -> Add Conditional Formatting.
You can add Conditional Formatting similar to Column Properties.
Mark Correct if its answered.

Graphs not displaying correctly on reports. Parts are missing.

Recently, we moved production environment to the a new server. We're currently running Crystal Reports XI R1 and the RAS is version 11.0.0.7485. When running certain reports, some of the graphs are empty. The x and y axis will display but no content in the graph. Also, the same graph will work on one report but not on others. Any ideas or suggestions?

Also, we have upgraded to SP 3 and believe this might be code related and not a configuration issue. Ideas?

Graph not displayed when web report 9i is run

When I run my web report (.rdf file) all the report data shows apart from the graph - which is displayed as a red cross. Have I configured reports wrong so the graphs aren't getting the correct URL?

Hi Claire,
I assume that you are running an RDF on the web, and setting desformat=html or htmlcss. Can you try with desformat=pdf and see if you get the same problem?
Also, for diagnosing the problem, in your html / htmlcss output where you see a red cross, can you view source and see what filename it searches for the graph. The graph is an image, so the code will be like
<img src=....../>
Check whether this file is available in your Oracle_Home\reports\cache directory?

Xy Graph Auto Scale Bug - Need AutoScale VI

I have another bug to report, I have come across more bugs in the past year than before.
This bug is present in all versions since 7.1 to the latest 8.5.
Here is the bug.
Create and Graph.
Make sure the X-Scale is set to Auto Scale.
Go to Properties and Choose "Formatting and Representation" and Choose Relative Time for X-Axis . Select HH:MM.
Click OK
Now Set the scale to say 20 Hours. You Should see 10 Divisions of X-Axis
Right Click on the Graph and Select "Scale Object with Pane"
Maximize the VI now.
The Graph will scale nicely!!
Look at the X- Axis Scale. It is 20 Hours.
What happened to the 10 Divisions? It is one big Division of 20 Hours.!! Why?
Set the Scale to 10 Hours and all the divisions reappear!!
Restore the VI window to Previous and Now All divisions of the scale are gone.
This Behavior is random based on the size of the graph and Screen resolution.
Can someone suggest a VI that does Auto Scaling elegantly

Create button to clear/reset graph's displayed data

Hello,
I'm new here and working with labview. I've searched the forum but didn't found a answer that could help me (or at least I think thank)
I'm working on a project to acquire process an ECG signal with a DAQ. In the front panel, I'm trying to display 2 graphs, one showing part of the data in real time and the other showing all the data acquired until that momment. I wanted to add a button to this second graph that, when the user wanted, cleared the data shown in the graph but immediatly continued to show the data.
(trying to make myself clearer)
"show all data acquired --> press button X --> cleans graph display --> show all data acquired"
if anyone could help I would be very thankfull!

Hi FM,
when you use a chart you have to clear it's history (using a property node).
When you use a graph instead you have to clear the array that builds the plot(s)...

Graph label in Drill down graph to display only the lowest level label

Recently I have upgraded from OBIEE 10 to 11g.
Some reports have a country -> region -> branch drilldown, for which hierarchy is created in business layer of RPD. The graph, drills down from Country -> Regions -> Branches and displays the measures accordingly. But the horizontal label displays the full hierarchy , like CountryName,RegionName and Branch Name. In 10g, I used to get the Branch name only in the axis label.
I would like to display only the Region names when Country is drilled down and the branch name alone when the Region is drilled down.
Kindly help.

In 11g it is bug....
For this u should create 3 individual reports (1 for country, 2. Region, 3. Branch) and give action link one to another.
for filter make sure the required column "Is Prompted" for every detailed reports.
