Graphs (not X and Y)

I hear there are things called "Graphs" which are sorta like Tree's, except nodes can connect to any other nodes, not just parents to children. Does java have these? All the search'es I've done so far gave me either drawing graphs (ie. x-axis and y-axis type things) or GraphICS, which isn't what I need. I wanna try a AStar algorithm out on a simple maze problem, and I think I need a graph to do that.

You're going to hear a lot about graphs pretty soon if you're a comp sci student.
For a very simple graph, with no sauces or toppings or little bamboo umbrellas, you can whip up a simple implementation pretty quickly. You need Node objects and Vertex objects, IIRC. The data structures textbook will explain all...
But better to reuse existing code if it's not a homework assignment.

We are trying to see and work on CM29 through SAP GUI for HTML. After making required settings it not pulling up BAR Graph into WebGui and saying error message "Unknown Error:RFC". We have checked on IGS RFC settings and all are working fine but still we are recieving error message.
1. Can the bar graphs can be seen on WebGui?

This is a limitation
The IGS does not support the Bar chart

This note does not provide this functionality - but provides a different
message other than "ListenerRfc : Unknown function"
You cannot display this graphic via the WEBGUI, you will need to use the

Bar graphs not always are updated

I have a report with 12 graphs that have a filter like "timecolumn is within a time interval previous 30 minutes", where timecolumn is of timestamp type.
When a new minute arrives and a new record is stored in the DO the graph is not always refreshed correctly, it shows like no records has arrived.
The problem occurs randomly in sense that sometimes a graph works properly and sometimes do not.
Any clues?

It doesn't look like we have your report /DO that you are encountering the problem with.
Please log an SR and we can provide a resolution.
Jeffrey, I blv you are running into memory issues.
Do you see any updates on the dashboard when the bar graph stops updating.
Also, do you see any messages on the dashboard while there is no updates?
Can you try changing the refresh interval on this report and see if it make a difference?
You can do so in Change Report Properties ---> Advanced in Active Studio.

TO get graph between month and value

Perhaps have a look at the programs starting GRBUS* (and other GR* entries) as they demo some of your graphical options.

Graph not displayed under Target- dbname- Performance

Performance graph not getting displayed in oem grid control. Here is how I am navigating to the screen: Targets->Databases->dbname->Performance. For some databases that are being monitored, the graph is displayed, for some it is not displayed. Is there any package or procedure that need to be executed to activate the graph.

10.2.0.3 is my grid version. I have 4 databases being monitored and 2 of them have the graph displayed. I am not seeing the graph for the other 2 databases. I went into preferences and checked the status of tuning packs and they are all enabled in the grid control. I am not sure what else to check for?

Graphs not rendering when reports deployed to Report Server

I'll make this short...
I have several reports that contain graphs that preview just fine in Visual Studio but when I run them via our report server they don't display anything.
Has anyone encountered this before? If so, how did you resolve it?

According to your description, there are several reports that contain graphs, when you preview the reports in Visual Studio, the graphs can be displayed. After you deployed the reports, the graphs could not be displayed when you preview the reports.
To troubleshoot the problem, please refer to the following steps:
The issue may be relevant to compatibility of browser, please use different browser to check whether the issue persists.
If you are using embedded image of jpg type, please change the extension of the image to png.
In order to use an external image in another folder, for example “Resources” folder, we need to deploy the image to the “Resources” folder at first, and then specify the image value in the report to the full path of the image URL.
If you want to use an image file and the file cannot be accessed through Anonymous access, you can configure the unattended report processing account and grant the account permission to access the file.

[graph] not always showing data

First, I use CVI2012SP1 with the CVI2013SP2 runtime.
I´ve got the problem that the same program and version is running fine on my pc, but not on a pc of a customer.
The problem is that on my pc I can see the data, but on the pc of the customer there is no data drawn. As I use manual scaling I know that the data, which should be drawn, is right. The thing which bugs me most is that I also use a graph for other things in this program and there they always work.
I don´t know if this helps, but I also got the problem that autoscaling is not working for me on these graphs.
I can´t really make a cut down version of this, because it seems that this is only a problem for the graphs on a panel of many.
Some more information about the graphs. I got 4 panels with graphs on it. 3 panels are loaded just once and working flawlessly, but one panel I load as many times as I need and this got 2 graphs in it and these 2 graphs aren´t working as expected.
Does anyone know what this could be or could tell me what to try to find out what is goind wrong?

Problem found and solved.
Before I used a graph to display the data, I used a stripchart and as I´ve changed the code I misplaced a parameter for the PlotXY function. So instead of putting the line style I put the line thickness as parameter and so the plots disappeared for line thickness 2.
This was a hard bug to find

Does anybody know any free library for graph layout (vertexes and edges)?
I would like to create applet which:
1) will read definition of graph - for example like the list of edges
(vertex11-vertex12; verte21-vertex22; ...; vertexN1-vertexN2)
2) will generate layout of it (like Circle, Sugiyama, Radial Tree, Tree etc.);
3) will listen to user which will touch of some vertex and it can:
3.1) display some information about itself;
3.2) expand itself (that is: it will show-display all its neighbours-vertexes) or
collaps itself (that is: it will hide all (all almost all) its neighbours-vertexes.
I do not want to create the whole Java code for layout algorithms:
I would like to use some pretty Java library. That is library which has:
1) methods for defining the topological structure of graph
(that is the list of vertexec and edges between them);
2) methods for drawing - visualising of it (like tree, radial tree, circle, etc.).
I have tried many libraries but I can not such library which:
- is free (so yFiles no);
- is small and compact (like TouchGraph);
- works with JDK 1.3.1, no higher (so Jung no);
- has a nice API (so JGraph no);
- is alive (so TouchGraph no - it ihas 2 ywars old its last update);
- works correctly (not like JGraph - JGraphAddons:
it has 8 layout algorithms, but most of them does not work).
Has anybody any tips?

I promiss I will notice, if I wil find some suit free library. But I think my requirements are not so high. For example there are some tips:
1) TouchGraph: it is VERY small and compact (that: it has no other dependences), but it has 2 years old update - so it writes to console window information about "obsolete" code when I run its applet; and it has no live forum; but I like its API, but it has some bugs!
2) JGraph has nice layouts (but they do not work all) and very unpleasent methods for defining of topological structure of graph (vertexes and edges between them). But there is indipendent library JGraphT, which can cooperate with JGraph, and it has very nice API for defining the graph from the topological (not visual) point of view (addVertex, addEdge etc.). But JGraphT is not updated so often like JGraph and therefore there is problems with its colaborate with it. And also have bugs, like JGraph.
3) Yesterady I have found next library: JGraphOpen - it has many examples (for visualising of graphs and for standard tasks for graph theory (the shortest way etc.) but it is also (like TouchGraph) 2 years old and is not so small like it.
So has anybody any idea? I would like to find some other free libraries or some tips how to force to cooperative JGraph + JGraphT.

Well I'll guess you're using iPhoto 11:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Not null and enable or disable column in tabular form

Hi,
Using apex version 4.1 and working on tabular form.
ACT_COA_SEGMENT_MAS is Master table
and
ACT_SEGMENT_VALUES_MAS is detail table
I have entered 8 rows in master table and PARENT_SEGMENT_ID is column in master table which is null able. If i specified PARENT_SEGMENT_ID with value in master table then in detail table there is column PARENT_ID that should not be null and enable.
How i can enable or disable column when in master table PARENT_SEGMENT_ID column is null then in detail table PARENT_ID column should disable and vice versa.
I have created tabular form on Detail table. before insert into the tabular form Check in master table in first entry if PARENT_SEGMENT_ID is not null in first row of master table then in tabular form PARENT_ID should enable and not null able in corresponding to this first row id's lines in tabular form.
Same should check for second row in master table if PARENT_SEGMENT_ID is not null then entered rows with PARENT_ID into tabular form corresponding to 2nd id in master table should not nullable and column should enable in tabular form.

You need to create you own manual tabular form and not use the wizard.
Using APEX_ITEM api you should be build you own form and you will be able to control how you wan to display the rows. (See Link [Apex Item Help|http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37097_01/doc/doc.42/e35127/apex_item.htm#CACEEEJE] )

Message "to open MLBNexDefAutobahn, you need a Java SE 6 runtime. Would you like to install one now?" I click "not now" and it pops open a second later. It won't go away. Help!

I click on "Not Now" and it pops open again a second later. It is not going away! Is this a Java virus? This is not a virus, or any other kind of malware. Some third-party software that you have installed is repeatedly trying to open a Java process called MLBNexDefAutobahn. What that software might be, I don't know. What software do you have that this name might fit with?

Sub transaction type is also used for determining the accounts while
doing excise removals.
Within CIN the account determination is based on the transaction type.
So normally you can have a single set of accounts for Excise
utilization. In case you need alternate account determination for
handling various scenarios you can define sub transaction types. The
sub transaction types and corresponding account assignments needs to be
maintained in CIN customization
To make customization of Sub Transaction type, goto
SPRO --> Logistics General --> Tax on Goods Movements --> India --> Account Determination and check whether you have assigned second and third one, viz. "Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction and Specify GL Accounts per Excise Transaction".

I just updated my RAM and I keep getting a crash report. I have a 21.5 Inch mid 2010 imac. I also am experiencing slow load times and when I try to open Final Cut it says that quartz extreme is not compatible and that I have no VRAM even though I do.

There have been a few reports on here where Corsair RAM seems to have caused users a lot of grief with crashes.
The recommendation on here, mostly, is to only buy RAM from macsales.com or crucial.com as they guarantee their modules will work and offer a no quibble lifetime guarantee.
I'd put the original RAM back in, return the Corsair chips for a refund and re-order from one of those two companies.
