Group Begin BOX function

Hi,
I'm trying to develop a form with a group that contains a section with a trigger that repeat it as many times as it found the rows in the XML.I want to surround this group with a margin box. How can i do that?
I tried to use the GroupBegin Function Box but i got and error that it can not locate the box.

Hi David,
This is exactly one of the scenarios we face in our project too. Due to this limitation in the GroupBox, we made a work around solution. I am just illustrating what we did so that you may also try in your case.
There will be no use of GroupBox in this work around solution.
Section 1. A page size section with just the border. CopyOnOverflow option selected; placed at Abs+0,Abs+0 position
Section 2. A custom size empty section (1 or 2 lines height) positioned at Abs+0,Abs+2400 FAPS for 1 inch Top margin or Abs+0,Abs+1200FAPS for 1/2 inch Top margin. CopyOnOverflow option selected.
Section 3. Rows with a trigger that repeat it as many times as is in the XML; positioned at Rel+0,Max+0;
If it does show up some issues related to space in the top or pagination during multiple page scenario, try pushing Section 1 & 2 as Headers once ant give a try.

I want to create a target group by Partner function (BUT100).
I have tried to use the join:
BUT100(partner field) + BUT0CC(Partner) + BUT051(Partner1) + BUT000(Partner) but it doenst work.
How can i do it?

If you are not sure into which Function group your FM should go in then its advised to create a Function group of your own. Its not advised to create a function module in any other function group unless its owned by you since your FM can get deleted by others or it can get changed.
Create your own Function group. But if you want to create in an existing FG then best way is to find out the Function Group by searching for suitable existing Function module then see their function group

In BOXI 3.1 CMC
.NT Authentication is enabled check box is selected.
In the Mapped NT Member Groups area, entered the NT domain\group in the Add NT Group text box.
like : secWindowsNT:

getting error like
"The secWindowsNT security plugin is not enabled. Contact your system administrator for details. (FWB 00002) "

You shouldn't be using the NT plugin in 3.1, is there a reason you are using this plugin over AD? If you really want to use it you may need to open a case with support and trace the CMS. Are there any groups currently mapped? if you hit update without adding/removing what happens? What if you remove the NT users group and hit update?

Grouping text boxes

Is it possible to group text boxes in pages for iPad?

Yes, it is possible to group text boxes.
When you first create a text box, it is set to move with the text on the page. In this mode, you can't group the text boxes.
Select the first box and while holding it, tap the next text box to select them both. Then tap the Style Menu (brush)> Arrange > Wrap > Move With Text > OFF
Now tap one of the two boxes again and the option to Group should appear. Tap Group and the boxes are now grouped and can even be set to move with text again at this point, if you desire, or not, if that is your choice.
This is explained more in the Pages Help (under the Tools Menu (wrench)) under "Select, group, layer, and copy objects"

What happened to the "bookmark this group of tabs" function?

Firefox 6.0 doesn't have a "bookmark this group of tabs" function on the bookmarks menu. What happened to it? Can it still be done? How? This is progress???

Thanks. Is it me, or is this completely counterintuitive? I expect the tab context menu to have stuff that applies to a particular tab, and the Bookmarks menu to contain functions concerned with bookmarks globally.

No entries in Define conversion group and external function module setting.

After active bussiness function SAP Oil & Gas, my system have a problem in SPRO.
SPRO --> IMG --> Industry solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) --> HPM --> QCI configuration --> Define conversion group and external function module setting.
Problem appear: Has no entries in there!

There are few entries normally delivered by SAP and which are good for a regular implementation. It is possible that those are not copied over from the reference client. Second option is to check the BC set (if) available for this activity and pull those in. Check the SAP reference client first, most likely that has entries which you can copy over to your regular client.

9 box Functionality

Our client want to implement 9 box functionality from Nakisa and nothign else.
Is 9 box would be part of Succession planning or HCM dashboard.
If succession planning - what would be requirment for configuration , is whole succession planning needs to be implemeted or only part of it.
Also if someone can suggest landscape requirment it would be great.

Hi Pallavi,
HCM Dashboard (HCMD) is not required for SuccessionPlanning. In fact, in SuccessionPlanning it is already integrated so there is no additional installation or configuration.
If you choose not to use the Talent Assessment etc then you should remove the fields that display this data in the details panels in SuccessionPlanning (such as Mobility, Risks etc).
As for hardware - the installation guides (available after install!) have all of this information. Without knowing your IT infrastructure and landscape requirements, plus the number of users etc, it is hard to quantify the hardware you will need. Generally you should go for a server with 4GB of RAM and a 2.2Ghz processor. 20-30GB HD should be okay for just SuccessionPlanning. Software-wise it depends on if you are using the .NET version or the Java version. The .NET version needs:
1. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with the latest Service Packs
2. Internet Information Services 5.0 or above
3. Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or above
The Java version needs:
1. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with the latest Service Packs or Linux Red Hat Enterprise
2. SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment (CE) 7.1
The TREX version needed for EhP4 is 7.1.

Group by on Function return value

Dear All
I'm facing a problem with when I have a group by on the return value of a function.
Following is the scenario.
Im having the following select query which executes in less than millisec for more than 20k records.
SELECT T1.FIELD1,T1.FIELD2, MY_FUNCTION(T1.FIELD2) FROM TABLE T1 ;
But when I modify the above query in the following way for the same number of records, the performance is going down to more than 4 mts.
SELECT T1.FIELD1,T1.FIELD2, MY_FUNCTION(T1.FIELD2)FIELD3 FROM TABLE T1 GROUP BY T1.FIELD1,T1.FIELD3;
can any one please suggest me whats the best solution in this regard.

Everything which is not affected by aggregate functions
should be included into GROUP BY. And GROUP BY can't use
aliases but expressions only.
You have to think what exactly do you want to get
for FIELD02 - do you want get max/min/avg/count ?
