Has anyone else lost their use of iPlayer on iPad1 this week?

After years of watching programmes in bed, nothing from the iPlayer app is loading this week. If I try to access via Safari, not App, I get 'This programme doesn't appear to be working. Try again later.'
Has anyone else shared the experience?

What does the iPhone/iPad OS have to do with Mavericks?
Mavericks does remove the scroll bars as they are not needed, but you can set them to show always in the General System Prefs.

Has anyone else lost their Sucure Notes in Keychain since upgrading to Mavericks?

Since upgrading to Mavericks i have lost all my Secure Notes in Keychain.
I had backed up OS10.8.5 on my Time capsule before upgrading but can not access the backups in time capsule- they appear as a black screen in the Time Capsule window.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Has anyone else lost their volume?

I made the mistake of upgrading to the new OS Maverick and now my volume control is intermitent at best. Rebooting sometimes helps but just as likely does not. I would like to restore the previous OS but do not have the disk to do that and time machine backup that are prier to the new OS are rendered useless. Does anyone have any suggestions?

In truth the volume issue is only the tip of the iceberg. I use to power down using the power key. Seems you can't do that any more either. There are also several other issues but I will not bore you with them. I finally gave up and reinstalled the previous system using time machine backup. Only took 12 hours. Well at least it is done and all is back to relitave normal. As for me I think apple can keep maverick. If you are keeping maverick then good luck to you.

Has anyone else lost their personal hotspot option after updating to iOS 6.1?

I updated to the new iOS last night, and when I went to use my AT&T personal hotspot today, I noticed that it's missing from my settings menu. Any tips on how to get it back? I called AT&T and they told me that everything is fine on their end and therefore it must be an Apple issue. :-(

See if this helps you get them back and lets you add them again.
Quit the Safari app completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

When upgrading to iOS 7 I lost everything and had to start from factory settings on my ipad2. I've recovered everything except the iTunes app. I have an app named "Music" and I have the iTunes Store app. I tried going to Ap Store to download it and it states that iPads already come with iTunes... Well mine's gone after the upgrade. Does anyone have suggestions?

Has anyone else had difficulty using WPA2 Internet sharing with their Apple TV? Any solutions?

I've seen references to this on here, but no solutions.
I use my 27" 2010 iMac to share Internet in my home, latest versions of OSX and iOS.. Works fine, sharing with iPhones, an iPad and my Apple TV 2.
Recently though, I changed to WPA2, and the Apple TV can't see Home Sharing is on. If I switch security (ie WPA2) off, then it can see it again.
So has anyone found a way to use WPA2 successfully with their Apple TV?

Unfortunately you have a lot of very questionable old, incompatible, and probably bad software on your Mac that is not playing well with Mavericks. Some of these can be difficult to uninstall, particularly if you are not familiar with poking around in Mac system folders.
You might consider cutting to the chase and doing a clean install:
backup your documents and passwords, network settings, etc.
Completely erase your hard drive
Reinstall mavericks and your apps from scratch (not from backups)
and finally replacing your documents.
It can be a good thing. Spring cleaning. If you want to go this route, let me know, I can give you some more detailed suggestions for how to do it. The advantage is you can get Mavericks running really fast and reliably, and then be more selective about what you reinstall. A lot of the stuff you have on there is probably from apps you don't even use anymore (like for your Blackberry), or that really aren't necessary.

Okay, I'm new at this. I had purchased a song and a music video, and during the download process, we lost power. The next day I tried to find what I had purchased, and I cannot find it whatsoever. Has this happened to anyone else? Has something like this happened to anyone else? I'd like to try and find a way to get the money back, or the songs back.

Has anyone else noticed their macbook air (11-inch, Late 2010) fan running constantly?

Since i updated to 10.8.4, i've noticed the fan is running almost constantly on my Macbook Air (11-inch, Late 2010) and the computer gets very hot. I looked in Activity Monitor and saw that both Safari and Finder were using CPU, but it's by no means spiked. Anyone else notice this?

Try resetting your system's System Management Controller (SMC) to see if that helps the problem. The SMC is responsible for managing the feedback for the fans to respond to temperature changes.

Has anyone else lost Notes data stored in iCloud?

I had a note that I was trying to update daily that apparently was being stored in iCloud. Today it looks like my last update was on Nov 11th. Is anyone else having a similar issue? Any suggestions on how to properly report this to Apple/iCloud Support?

I think this has something to do with a stuck iCloud account setup I have on my iPad. Somehow I have 2 iCloud account entries for the same email account but one of them has not updated since Nov 11th due to a missing password. I was looking for a way to get rid of that mailbox/account entry today. I suspect that is the source of the data loss.

T440s has anyone else remapped their keys?

I missed having my page up and down by the top right. Especially in bed. So what I did was UNMAP the F11 and F12 keys since you can easily use these with two locations for page up and page down (delete and insert) and the normal default page up and down by the up down left right cusors. Anyone else remap?
Also since I'm a new user, what is the 16gb of ssd space on the t440s? Anything to worry about if I were installing a new Windows copy?

Has anyone else had their google account turned into Chinese?

As of yesterday, chrome shows all my google accounts in chinese adn I can't get rid of it. Anyone else have this issue? Should I be worried?

There were many customers in this same situation, including myself. I had 5 of 6 cancelled, I contacted them immediately. This was a major computer "glitch" that is just getting cleaned up in September. Only 3 of my 5 lines have been reinstated. The issue I had with this was that I would now have to wait 16 months instead of 12 months(May through August) to be able to edge up without additional funds out of my pocket. Or I would have to wait 28 months not the 24 months to be free of the edge agreement. I sent an email to my Verizon area president, within an hour I got a phone call. After an hour on the phone I negoitiated a $75 credit for each line. And then if I choose to early edge in May 2015 I will get an additional credit of $50 towards payment of my device I'm edging up. Since they are unable to adjust the length of the Edge agreement, I started out asking for a $100 credit for each line, which consisted of the $25 per month credit for being month to month in May 2016 to August 2016. Calling them is just a waste of your time, the CSR's can only offer a $50 credit.
