I don't know why this S.O.B. started popping up when I
started Dreamweaver, and now I'm noticing that it's popping up four
times whenever I click on the Edit, View, Modify or Text options at
the top. Also, doing misc things in the program cause it.
I want to re-install, but the CD's are in one of 46 boxes in
the basement from when we moved from Arizona to Virginia.
Anyone know what the error could be? This is a completely
legit version.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Are you sure the settings are correct? Did you check the outgoing mail server setting? Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

Thanks roaminggnome....my teenage son uses this phone and hasn't backed it up...so I don't want to restore it to factory settings just yet. Tried your other suggestions with no joy so if it comes on normally after discharging the battery tonight I'll restore it after backing up all his contacts ,music etc.
I was curious as to what the fault actually is as no-one seems to have had this one where I've looked on the internet.
The phone was dropped and subsequently repaired through insurance in Sept 2011 and they issued me with another imea number so the complete internals of the phone must have been replaced by them so I hope that the fault is covered by their normal warranty on work carried out. Thanks for your reply.

I will boot up the MP and do some work or whatever it might be. I will leave for a while and come back to the log-in screen. If I leave Safari open with more then 2 tabs open I will come back to a pop up that says are you sure you want to close both windows or something like that. It's like it goes to sleep and reboots or logs me out of the computer. I have had a few times were I left for dinner and come back home find I lost all of my work.
BTW this has been happing for a few months now and I don't remember when it started. Might be after an update? But, I can't remember.

I would start with these basics,
Try using Disk Utility to do a Disk Repair, as shown in this link, while booted up on your install disk.
You could have some directory corruption. Let us know what errors Disk Utility reports and if DU was able to repair them. Disk Utility's Disk Repair is not perfect and may not find or repair all directory issues. A stronger utility may be required to finish the job.
After that Repair Permissions.
No need to report Permissions errors....we all get them.

My Ipod Nano 5th generation is not being detected by Widows and Itunes. I have tried everything based on the trouble shooting tips outlined. Has anyone had this situation before? How was it resolved. My Ipod is just out of warrenty

Have done all trouble shooting tech a through Apples and still have not resolved issues on Windows and itunes not detecting my Ipod nano 5th generation device. Tried restoring the device manually using disk mode and still not being detected by the computer. Device is our of warenty as when service repair charges are $125.00 dolars more than I paid for this device. There must be some way to restore the entire device to factor settings without having to be connected to itunes and Windows. I wish I could connect but again device is not being read. I have another Ipod that is 8GB instaed of 16GB and it works fine. The sad thing about this situation is that my 9year old daughter worked hard doing delivering fliers for a long time to save her money to buy this 16 GB 5th generation Nano. Otherwise the Ipod works well but will not syncronize songs as it is not being detected. Maybe this is a result of corrupt files that got onto my daughters Ipod somehow and thus causing it not the be detwected through the USB connection thus as a result not be understoud as a working device through Windows and itunes. If anyone can help me out there including itune techs that would be well appreciated, but for now my daughter is not able to add new or delete any songs on her ipod as well pictures, and everything. Try changing the cord. I could NOT get my computer to recognize my iPod 5th Gen until I read somewhere that different apple devices use different cords. I was inadvertently using my iPad cord and that caused my computer to not recognize my ipod.

Do you get any error messages ? If you get a network timeout error when downloading the update then try temporarily turning off all your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed.
It's best to only update via your own computer, otherwise you risk losing all your iPad's contents - updating to iOS 5 wipes the iPad and then restores your backup. If you having problems downloading the update then you could try downloading the update file via a browser on another computer and then copying that file to your laptop for the actual update .

I have a MacBook Pro. I had not done any updates on my computer for a long time, but recently I allowed my computer to do one of the updates it had been asking me to do for a long time. Now whenever I shut the lid of my computer, all of my open webpages that I was using close. So the next time I go to use my computer, none of my webpages are available and I have to reopen everything! My computer never used to do that. I am wondering what I need to do to stop my computer from automatically shutting down all of my webpages whenever I close the lid of my computer.

What I found works best is to do the following:
Quit iCal on you
Go to iCloud.com and sign-in
Create an event on the calendar
Sign-out of iCloud.com
Relaunch iCal
It will take a few seconds for the calender to resync, but you should see the new event pop up on the calender. After that, hopefully all is well.

Probably memory fragmentation. While on the Home screen double-press the HOME button. Then swipe the screen image of each open app up to close the app. When all of the apps have been closed press HOME again, then reset the phone by holding HOME and SLEEP at the same time until an Apple logo appears. You will not lose any data.

I cannot reduce the images size on my ipad2 has anyone had this problem before ?

I have been unable to reduce all images on my Ipad2 screen. Any suggestions ? I was in an app called Bamboo Paper and the size blew up.Nothing I do works.

Double tap your screen with 3 fingers and the image should go back to normal size. You may also go into your settings and see if zoom is turned on. If it is turn zoom off.
