Have just worked a load of Raw Photo Files in Photoshop as on previous occasions but this time they have saved as VIDEO + JPG, also turned all other CR2 files into video in the folder. Can anybody help please.

I work in EMS-each call may have 2 or 3 or 10 pages (it varies according to the patient or facility). When I scan each days paperwork to send to billing,I have to make a folder for each date-then I have to make a folder for each call-then I have to drag each scanned doc. into the date it belongs to (after I rename them with the individual case #s) I can't scan an entire days paperwork together because I can't separate them after they are scanned in adobe-would acrobat help me with this or is there some other program I can use? HELP---I'm going to either smash my computer or the scanner or both!!!

See-I don't have a clue--now you know why I am so confused! So sorry!! ok let's see if I can explain correctly-
1. Scan to a network folder-can type in a file name if I want or leave blank (gives it a really LONG name with the date mixed in there)
2. it goes to a scan file on my work computer with my name
3. Then I can rename on my computer (not the scanner)
4. Then I have to open a remote-drag the files to that (the billing girls get it from a folder there)
But the problem is-I can't scan-say if I have 45 documents for that day-all of them at one time and then go to my computer and separate them into different folders-I have to scan each individual case # (each patient has a different #) some may be 1 page some may have 2 or 5 or 10 or whatever-so for each one I have to start at #1 and do all above steps over and over-it takes forever! I want to be able to scan all at one time without keeping them separate and then go to my desk and separate them-I am a dispatcher and answer the phone-and a short time to do paperwork-(this is a new job added to my existing and I am learning!!) I can't stand it taking all day!! also when I rename them it keeps both the new name and the original-good lord do I have a mess. Sorry to bother you but I didn't know which product would help me and It's killing me!

The music I was trying to listen to didn't want to make a sound when I turned it in , I put a pair of headphones in and and it worked as soon as I took it off it completely stopped the music was playing still I could see it in the top column that the play button was on ... Then I made a call an the same thing happened I turned it on speaker and then I could hear them... The sound is completely off even tho i looked at the seettings and put the volume on high noting is sounding on its own not even when i tap the buttons... make sure that your head phones are not attached to the phone then use the volume buttons on the side, if when using them you see a pic of headphones on the screen, then you have some lint in the headphone jack, use some compressed air and blow it out.
If you dont see that then try to reset the phone, hold down the home and power buttons for 20 seconds or untill you see the silver apple.
If you are still having a problem restore the phone and set up as new to see if that clears it up.

How many pictures (or how many bytes) are we talking? Now that the pictures are imported one way to cross users is to use a removable drive (although large volumes of files preclude this).
The other is to login as the user where the pictures are, then copy them into the public drop box of the user where you want the picture.
The arrow is showing (in ths example) copy files from the Pictures folder for my user to the guest user accounts public dropbox. When you do this you may have to authenticate and you won't be able to see the results of the copy until you log in as the other user.
All users are in the folder "/Users/"

The duplication is unnecessary. Exporting creates a duplicate of the file. So now you'll have a duplicate of a duplicate. Exporting is not "working on" a file.
No it's not merging, it's exporting from one to the Finder and into another. No matter what lose something. If you export the Original you leave behind all the work you've done in iPhoto. If you export anything else, you lose the non-destructive editing and the ability to revert to the original. With merging you preserve that work. Yes, you can trash the old Library when you have completed the manoevre but no it's not the same thing as merging.

Current gets you the iPhoto Preview, used for sharing via media browsers. It's a jpg, medium quality missing metadata. Original gets the file you imported, unchanged and then you can export different version of the current version at different qualities. If you choose to export anything except the Original you do not get a Raw. There's no such thing as an "edited Raw", and you lose the connection between the original and the exported version. That means you've taken a non-destructive workflow and turned it into a destructive one.
The Tiff will certainly be higher qulaity and less likely to suffer generational loss in future editing but the file sizes are vast, often more than 10 times the size of the jpeg.
Put it this way, it would be cheaper to buy Library Manager than the disk you'll need to contain all the Tiffs. Unless you plan on a lot of editing, I'd go for a high quality jpeg as a reasonable compromise.
To be clear:
So, I guess my new question is, how can I edit the Raw image and keep it in a RAW format that IPhoto recognizes so that I can reprocess without any loss at a future time, or is it that once you edit a RAW image, then it is no longer a RAW image?

Are you shooting RAW? Are you exporting masters or versions? Is there a size limitation on the Walgreens site?

I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.

In Editor, go to the expert tab.
Open picture B, the one you wish to select the radio from to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and the radio B on a separate layer.

It is supposed to be dark.
Is it all videos that don't display or just some. You may have installed something like Perian or Flip for Mac that translates the video codecs for Quicktime. They may need updating.

If Join was on then your home wi-fi must be set to Non-Broadcast. If you did not set this up (maybe your provider did) then you will need to find the Network Name they used, and any password they used. The SSID is Security Set ID and to see more try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SSID . Basically it is the name used to identify your router/network. A lot of times the installer will leave it set as LinkSys, or Broadcom or whatever the manufacturer set it as for default. Your best bet is to get whoever installed it to walk you through how they set it up, giving you id's and passwords so you can get in. HOWEVER, if you are not comfortable with this (if you set security wrong, etc.) you would be well ahead of the game to hire a local computer tech (networking) to get this working for you. You can also contact the vendor of your router and get help (if it is still in warranty), or at least get copies of the manuals as pdf files. Sorry I can't give you more help, I hope this gives you an idea where to go from here to find more.

but after the new installation with this folder is completely empty and I am still
unable to open these pdf.

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

*Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
*Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data if you uninstall and (re)install Firefox.
