Read my post above.
Click on the link I posted above.
Chris, i had a client here recently living in the UK. despite posting screen shots of the entire process, there was no such option on the UK iTMS (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=11407006&#11407006). might be different rules & regulations in different countries.

I don't have a credit card to create a Child ID. What can I do to create one?

That's not the point. A credit card with a security code is required to "prove" you are a parent in order to set up a child's account in Family Sharing. You can change your payment method right back, Apple says, to a debit card THAT ALSO HAS A SECURITY CODE. If you are a parent without a credit card you can't access Family Sharing for all family members. Apple doesn't care if you're in debt and don't have a card or have freed yourself from the horrible credit card system. It's crap.

  • I dont have a credit card to register in itunes store what should i do?

I dont have a credit card to register in itunes store what should i do? there is no NONE option when selecting the credit card so i cannot download any app on my itouch

Some Users have reported that this will work... But have not tried it myself...
Get an iTunes gift card & redeem that in iTunes using your existing Apple ID.
Then the option for none, regarding a credit card should appear.

  • Can I have two iPads with two different credit cards linked to one iTunes account?

Can I have two iPads with two different credit cards linked to one iTunes account?

It is still not possible to have two credit cards with your iTunes store account. I've just had a discussion with an Apple representative who suggested I give feedback to Apple about this. The more we are, Apple might listen to us in the end.
    This is the link

Please feel free to use or modify what I wrote there:
I’m surprised as are many other people who have the same issue (can see this in many forum threads) that Apple don’t give us the possibility to have at least 2 credit cards with one AppleID/account like most other vendors do (even much smaller than Apple). This certainly forces people to buy some stuff elsewhere that they otherwise would have purchased from Apple (for example books) or restrain from buying things they would have bought if they had a choice to use a second Credit Card.
Not having this option puts me in a precarious situation since it would not be OK to buy just anything with the Credit Card that is tied to my business (and in many cases like mine the business is only one person, the VAT No being the same as my social security No).
Sole traders need an option too.

I'm trying to type in my credit card number in my iTunes account and it won't work?

By 'won't work' you mean ? If you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are.

I don't know why this is so hard to find for people, It's pretty easy.
    Open iTunes on a computer
Choose "Store" > view account (apple ID username)
You will then see iTunes account information screen "Account Information"
Click "Edit" which is to the right of the field "Payment Information"
    You will see:
    Please select a payment method.
    VISA MASTERCARD AMEX NONE
    choose "None"
    Click "Done"

  • HT2736 i had a problem sending an itunes gift, it charge my credit card rather than my itunes account, i need the cc charge reversed and debit my itunes

i had a problem sending an itunes gift, it charged ,my credit card rather than my itunes account, it need it reversed on the cc and debited on the itunes.

Gifts will be charged to your credit card - you can't use your acocunt's balance for gifting, you can only use your credit card.
From the page that you posted from :
Note: When purchasing an iTunes Gift, a valid credit card must be on file; you can't purchase an iTunes Gift with store credit.

  • How do I change the credit card attached to my iTunes account?

How do I change the credit card attached to my iTunes account?

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.  If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then you could try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

  • HT5035 Can you have an iTunes gift card and a credit card on the same iTunes account?

I still have money left on my iTunes gift card, but not enough for a purchase. So I was wondering if I add a credit card to my account, when I make a purchase will it use the rest of the money from my gift card and then charge from my credit card, or would it merely cancel out the gift card and replace it with my credit card?

Yes, it will, unless you make a purchase which can't be done with a gift card, in which case the balance will remain and the entire purchase be charged to the credit card.

In iTunes, click on iTunes Store, then your Apple ID. Log in to your account and click "Edit" next to your payment information.

  • HT204053 How do I change the charging credit card associated with my iTunes account?

I need to change my credit card info.  How do I do that?

Once you have created an iCloud account and chosen an @icloud.com address to go with it you can't change the address (short of creating an entirely new account).
However, all is not lost. You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

  • How do I take my credit card off of my itunes account?

I cannot download or update anything on my phone because every time I try to it wants me to put in my credit card security code, and I do but it says its invalid. However I should not need a credit to download free things and update my current apps. Also, I cannot find anywhere to take the credit card off of my account....

You must have a valid payment method on file even for free apps.

  • HT1689 How do I remove credit card information from my iTunes account

Hello my name is Deionte and I put a credit card on my ipad 2 to purchase some music and now I would like it off because it is keeping me from buying any other apps because of billing information that has changed and nothing has changed.

First you will have to take care of the outstanding balance. Then you can only adjust the payment method in iTunes on the comptuer, not on the phone.
To take care of the balance, you will have to contact iTunes support. http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html No one here can help you with this.
