Having problems installing the new flash player

As the title say im having great problems installing the new flash player. I have downloaded it many times and tried installing each time, still nothing. Ive tried installing it offline with my computer totally disconnected from the internet, nothing. Each time i try and install it, it goes through 2 windows (one saying if i want to run it, and one asking for permission) and after they disappear, the icon also disappears strangely =S. I checked it on task manager and it is just sitting there doing nothing. Please help.

Having trouble installing the latest flash player.

Hey, I'm trying to install Flash Player 8, but whenever I go
to the Install Icon on my desktop, it comes up with the message
"Setup could not find your browser's plugins directory". What is
this directory and where do I find it or where can I get it. I
really need this plugin installed because every website I go to
always says it can't display it's graphics with the newest flash
player. Thank you for any help.

I cannot install the new Flash Player.

I cannot install new version. I ave 32 bit Vista and Firefox. Old version was deinstalled. After downloading the attempt to install I get the message that it could not install due to insufficient permission. I have only one account on the computer and that is the administrator account. Have gone through everything that looked applicable on the "Troubleshoot Flash Player Installation for Windows" page that the error mesage referred to. Appreciate any help.

Does the browser need to be closed when installing the new flash player?

I had uninstalled the previous flash player version. Went to the adobe website to download the latest flash player 10.2.152.26. Followed the instructions including using the Adobe Download manager. It just said to click run and said NOTHING about closing out the browser first before installing.
Should I have closed out the browser first, BEFORE installing???

Hi, No, not when Uninstalling or Installing from a direct site. Now if you are using the manual Uninstaller/Installer that you put on your Desktop and run from there, then yes.

Cant install the new Flash player 10.0.32.18

I´ve downloaded and installed all the different version of Flash Player for about 10 years now. It has never been any problem.
Now when i downloading and try to install the Flash player 10.0.32.18 I receive this annoying message -
"cant load important parameter 16236.301.375" ( I´ve attached some screenshots.)
Whats the problem? Anyone?

I tried to install the above on Firefox Support recommendation HERE.
However the message 'INSTALLATION IS CORRUPT! (16241.202.225)' appeared.
I have the 10.0.22.87 version installed and using Windows XP.

We are aware that some users have trouble with the Adobe Download Manager. We're working on it, but don't know that we'll have a fast solution. For those users we have an alternate download in technote 19166.. basically the same solution as in http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/512/cpsid_51258.html.

Having problems installing the new update on my Windows 7 machine.

Whenever I open Creative Cloud, it forces me to install an update. When I try to install, I receive this message, "There seems to be a problem with the file download. running IE9 win 7

Cannot do anything with the new Flash Player 10.1

We have a Dell desktop and I don't know much more than that as I am not tech savy, but we have tried several times to install the new Flash Player and when I check it shows that it is installed, but when we try to upload anything on Facebook or watch any videos, it says we must download the new Flash Player. So we have uninstalled it several times also to re-install it again. HELP me!!!! We are getting very frustrated.

Hi, ok you have the XP. What version of Internet Explorer are you using? If you don't know, go up to Help and click on About Internet Explorer. That tells you there. Also you should see an update for XP, SP1, 2 or 3. I need that info also.
Do you have any other browsers Installed? If so which ones and version numbers please.

I normally dont need a login when I install new program, but I try to Install a new flash player im asked to write a login and I have no clue? when I search for help it suggest to put in the original installation cd but that doesnt work. Please help!

When Trying to install the newest Flash player, Im asked to fill in my login.
I have no clue what my login is. (It happened very rarely that I was asked to fill in this when installing a new program, and the login I have used before are not valid now.
When I search for help, I am suggested to put in the original installation Cd.. and press the "C" button when I hear the starting sound... but when I do this nothing is happening.
Please Help me If you have an idea for a solution to this problem!

You need the admin password you created when you first set up the machine. Just about every installer running under OS X will require you to authorize the installation by entering an administrator password - even software update requires this. You really should not forget your admin password, as it is required for many things in OS X since, unlike Windows, you often need to manually type in the admin password to proceed with an install or update (whereas Windows will take admin authority, if you are logged in as an admin, by simply clicking continue or yes).
If you cannot remember your admin password, you can reset it from the recovery CD that came with your mac - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274
