Having trouble with 4010 error running iTunes match.
Can anybody explain what needs to be done to solve this problem.? It has been working in the past. Using an up to date Mac book pro. Lion.
This issue was resolved by time. Monday morning the Match worked fine on my MacbookPro. It appears that this was a server side problem. Apple must have repaired something.
I also got an email from iTunes service recommending the following:
"I found that some customers are able to resolve this error 4010 through the following steps:
On your Mac, press and hold the Option key while selecting Turn Off iTunes Match from the Store menu.
Then, select Turn On iTunes Match from the Store menu and go ahead with enrolling in iTunes Match.
Holding the Option key should reset Match and resolve the issue."
I did not need to take this action this time.

You can't do it in one step. Add to iTunes first, Once the tracks are in iTunes you may convert to a different format.

Getting a 4010 error from iTunes Match on Mac and not working on iPhone either.
Anyone else having this problem? It started about 30 minutes ago (8:45 PM Central Time, USA).

Create a new blank library. Sign into iTunes then match. This will show all music that is in the cloud - you can stream your music from this library.
When you need to update your library, open up original library with ext hd attached.

There's a number of potential problems here, and they may not necessarily be at your end.
First of all, it should be clear that CMYK is not so much a generic "image mode" as it is a description of specific press conditions. If you produce final CMYK, you must have the right profile. Don't use Image > Mode, use Convert to Profile.
Given that, I would question anyone who doesn't accept Adobe RGB photographs for a magazine article, because it implies a process that isn't properly color managed and generally not up to date. A standard workflow today would use InDesign, where images are normally placed in their original RGB space whatever that is. Then the conversion to final output CMYK is done as the last step, when producing a press-ready PDF from InDesign.
It helps tremendously if you know that final CMYK, because then you can proof to that so your file survives the CMYK conversion with the least possible damage (we're talking gamut clipping here; not general color shifts). But it's not absolutely required, which is why this workflow is relaitively safe.
Third, CMYK jpeg is in itself risky, because many jpeg decoders (in some software) don't have proper CMYK support. The result can be weird colors. This could well be the problem here, because it sounds as if your client uses a non-standard workflow.
So what to do? I would send two files. One sRGB as reference, which is guaranteed to come through correctly. Then find a way to send TIFF for the CMYK version if they insist, or ask them to try opening it in different software. Of course you should have a calibrated and profiled display, but I agree that's probably not the immediate problem here. There's no particular reason a CMYK file should come back with twisted colors if it's opened and processed in properly color managed software. -
Having trouble with itunes and windows 8
anyone else having trouble with windows 8 and itunes? My computer doesn't seem to recognize my shuffle.
A simple search would have answered such a silly question.

Having trouble with itunes update. Error with itunes64.msi. Windows 8.1 64 bit. I tried uninstalling, but I am stuck now trying to reinstall.
It says itcan't find the itunes64.msi destination folder.(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
Started having trouble with iTunes so I uninstalled everything and tried to reinstall but it says ' iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes.' Well, I've uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times. Now what?
I figured it out. A week ago I had downloaded a screensaver from a website I trusted and that's when my problems started. I uninstalled it but that didn't help. So, I reinstalled it then used an uninstall softtware app that cleanns more than the control panel does. Then I used a computer cleaner to be sure everything was wiped clean. And it worked. I downloded iTunes for the 7th time in 2 days and finally it worked! And I lost nothing from my account.

You first have to subscribe to iTunes Match through iTunes on your computer and have your music library in iTunes uploaded/matched before you can enable it on your iOS devices (see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/). Without a computer you won't be able to use iTunes Match.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
ipconfig /flushdns
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
Now try your preview music again. -
I have been having troubles with this for months and am extremly tired of not being able to download my songs. I bought these songs off of Itunes as well, so I really hope i can retrieve them. I do not know where to find a personal apple support person yet, does anyone know where to find one on the website?

I have been having trouble with my iphone 4 for the past day . i tried to update it to 7.0.4 then the screen went blank and it keeps telling me to connect to itunes . I have connected it to 2 computers , using different cords and it doesnt recognize it . It says it is in recovery mode and i need to restore . after clicking restore it says that my iphone cannot be restored . I am very frustrated because i have been online searching for solutions all day and nothing seems to work . Connect the device to iTunes and restore from the most current backup.

Just bought a new iPhone and am having trouble with iTunes and App Store. I can log in to Cloud, iTunes, and app store but once I try to download, it says "Youe apple id has been disabled". I've reset my password three times and have no issue on my Pad.

I am having trouble with two cover flows on my IPOD, duplicating themselves more than once, they haven't duplicated themselves in my Itunes library, just the ipod, could anyone have any ideas on how I could fix this problem. For those with similar problems, the solution is this:
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > MIDI Drivers
Then delete DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin -
I am having issues with streaming music from iTunes on my MacBook Pro to my audio system through AirPlay. Works perfectly with my iPod Touch. The AirPlay icon appears irregularly in iTunes and when selected doesn't connect. Running latest IOS software.
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
