HCM Forms - Dynamic change to field attribute - edit/nonedit

Hi,
I have a scenario wherein 'A' field will be editable to user 1 and 'B' field will be non editable. Then he sends the form. When the 2 user opens the form 'A' field should be non editable and 'B' field should be editable.
I have created 2 steps for the same. Step C and step D.
I have kept the field attribute of both A & B as 'Automatic'.
in step C i am using both the fields while in step D i have not assigned the field A but kept it as relevant and assigned the field B.
But still in runtime both the fields are showing as editable in both the steps.
What am i missing.?

Use easy enhancement workbench
The Easy Enhancement Workbench is a development tool with which SAP applications (called Business Objects in the following document) can be extended in a simple manner.
Customer enhancements to a Business Object are defined via wizards. The Workbench then does all development work for the user; databank tables, screens and application logic are created automatically. Finally the customer enhancement is included in the SAP standard.

Change the field attribute of a field in data source - 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1

Hi ,
I have a data source named 0CRM_SALES_ACT_1 in CRM system.
The fields PLANNED_TS_FROM and PLANNED_TS_TO are hidden fields i.e. the field attribute is 'A' - Field in OLTP and BW Hidden by SAP.
Following are my doubts:
1. Whether the values of these fields will be extracted into BW or it will not be?
2. How do I change the fields attribute value of these fields(its standard data source)?
3. Is there any SAP note to do this ?
4. If the above doesn't exisits, then should I go for a append structure to the standard data source?

Hi,
U can unhide ur fields in RSA6 and then replicate the datasource in BW. These fileds will come in BW.
You cant change the attribute value for STD DSO.
No SAP note for the same.
You can append the datasource with the new fields with the attribute you want and hide the std. fields then goto BW and replicate it. You can then map it with the BW fields as you want.

Dynamically change text field type

I have a form which displays a decimal field. However when certain conditions are met, I need to change its type to Text, so the user can enter any alphanumeric character.
How do I achieve that with Javascript code? Is it even possible?

Actually, you can dynamically change a textfield.type. AS2.0
You need two elements.
txt.type = "input";
txt.selectable = true;
However, if you have the textfield in a btn you will need to
delete the onRelease function before you can make the tf function correctly.
btn.onRelease = function()
delete this.onRelease;
this.txt.type = "input";
this.txt.selectable = true;

HCM Form Dynamic UI Control change

I need a solution on the dynamic UI control change in Adobe form, I am populating the backbend values in the dropdown, but the requirement is if i get only one value in the dropdown i need to show that in textfield It means that i need to change the dropdown control to textfield control based on the single value condition dynamic

Dynamic change of fields in Module Pool program?

Dear Friends,
I defined a check list with values ABC and 123.
If I select ABC, there are 4 fields will be displayed these all are char fields.
If I select 123, there are 4 fields are replacing the above mentioned 4 fields at runtime. In that, one Date field is there, but it is replacing with char value.
How can I change dynamically from char to date vise versa at runtime?

Data Forms - Dynamic changing months

Hi,
In my form i must have actuals and forecast. So e. g. Actuals(Jan, Feb) -> Forecast (Mar, Apr....). This layout will change next month. Actuals (Feb, Mar) -> Forecast (Apr, May....) The problem is to set-up the data form to move the "start" month in forecast scenario. I have my actuals set up as substitution variables. Problem is that when i set up 12 subs. variables to cover the whole year and then move one month further i do not want that last subs. variable to be set up but then the data form will not work. And if i set it up lets say continuosly i will finish with something like... Nov, Dec, Jan in the same year and i want it to finish with december.

I have one option for you, the data coming for Actuals can be loaded on Actual as version member. Load the forecast on the forecast version member, pull both the versions in the webform with supress the missing data. This should work as your actual data will not have anything for months in future so the future months will be supressed, and anything coming in the forecast will only for future months and not the months that have passed so past months will be supressed.

Dear SAP gurus,
we have extended our complaint transactions by adding some 'customer' fields using EEWB.
Now, the program name for this extension is: SAPLZCRM_BTX_EEW_UI02
and the screen number where those fields are is "0100".
The screenfield is for example ZCRMT_0100_BTX_UI02-ZZPO_REF_NO
Now the field is general available for every Complaint transaction.
<b>My questions are:</b>
1) Suppose I want to make this field Output Only
is this done via the screenpainter using:
Program name:SAPLZCRM_BTX_EEW_UI02 and Screen: 0100
(Since I am not sure you are allowed to change the screens generated by the EEWB).
2) I would like to make this field input/output (but only for 1 transaction type XX) and not for the other complaint transaction type YY. Where can we built in this check?

--> There are 2 ways of going about it:
1. create a PBO module and check the Transaciton type and depending on that you can grey out the fields at runtime
2. Keep the fields as input/ output and write BADI CRM_ORDER_FIELDCHECK
and method FIELDCHECK. Here you can say wchich field is to be greyed out dpepending on Transaction type

Go to SM30 and enter V_T588M then maintain MP000700 new entry for your country specific screen with P0007-ZTERF output field .
Maintain feature P0007 for your country.

If you created the calendar region using the wizard, it should have created a page item 'P#_CALENDAR_DATE' (# being your page number). Look at the Default setting for that item and it will likely be:
return to_char(localtimestamp,'YYYYMMDD');This is the default date for the calendar (current date), in 'YYYYMMDD' format. Any code that sets this item to a date in 'YYYYMMDD' format should tell the calendar to display the calendar for that date. For example, I just changed it to this:
return '20080101';And it displayed the calendar for that January, 2008. To test further I created a submit button and a branch, and in that branch I specified to set my P1_CALENDAR_DATE item to 20080601 and when I clicked the button it redisplayed the calendar for June, 2008.

How to change the fields in a JSF form based on a URL parameter

I am trying to build a generic JSF form of parameters which I want to dynamically change (i.e.
change which field is visible, what the label text should be, etc) based on a URL parameter.
I can set the fields using logic in the backing bean as an action on a command button pressed.
But how do I do it based on the URL parameter ? I can retrieve the URL parameter but I
don't know where to put (or hook) the Java code to do this initialization prior to
the page being rendered for the first time.
The fields in the JSF is being configured dynamically using a database table.
BTW I am using Jdeveloper 10.1.3.5

Thanks. I decided to set a Session bean to store the value of the URL parameter (if it is set)
and then to use the session bean to initialize the attributes of the fields on the JSF Page.
There also seems to be some caching of the inputText fields (i.e. it reverts back to the first
initialized value) even though I tried to change it using the URL parameter in the requestScope
backing bean. So, setting the values into the Session bean and retrieving it back from there
seems to be more reliable.

Change UDF field on system form to enabled = false

When doing this, it works fine (on the item master form). The udfs that I don't want to be editable are disabled (grayed out). But as soon as anything is typed into ANY field on any pane in the main form or into any of my editable UDFs, the disabled fields immediately become enabled again! (If I listen for key-down on a field & redisable my UDFS it works, and further entry into any field does not affect the enabled status! This is obviously no solution, though. There might be over a hundred fields on this form and it's impratical to listen for key down on all of them!)
I'm doing this as a proof of concept, and if we get it right, we're likely to sell this customer SAP B1, so I'd really like to get this right!
So, searching the forum, I see something about SetAutoManagedAttribute & I try setting the editable attribute to false for these fields. That line of code crashes:

Do the UDFs have to be on the Item Master window itself (ie can they be left on the UDF tab)?
Would this work as a solution?...
Use the UDF settings to create 2 different UDF categories and assign the 2 different sets to these categories. Then, when the user selects a particular item, your add-on can check the item group and automatically change the UDF category to reflect the correct item group. Sure, it doesn't set the other fields to inactive but it does hide them from the user. Only issue would be if you have other UDFs that are generic (ie non-group specific) as you can only assign a UDF to a single category.

Need to change the properties of ADUser form dynamically

We have a requirement wherein a user needs to be provisioned AD based on OIM user profile attribute.The conditions for provisioning are :
1. We have two AD domains ex - ABC and XYZ.
2. If user's organization is CST then he needs to be provisioned to ABC domain else XYZ.
3. In AD process definition form "UD_ADUSR" we have an attibute organization which should take value from a lookup definition ex - LookUp.ADReconciliation.OrgABC for ABC domain and LookUp.ADReconciliation.OrgXYZ for XYZ domain.
4. Similarly for UD_ADUSR's child table UD_ADUSRC have the group field which should take the value from a lookup definition ex - LookUp.ADReconciliation.GRPABC for ABC domain and LookUp.ADReconciliation.GRPXYZ for XYZ domain.
How can we change the AD Process definition form dynamically reflecting the LookUPCode name depending upon OIM profiles attribute.Do we need to create RuleDesigner or Adapter or there is some other way ?

Because of some project constraints, I cant use the above two solutions - creating a new RO and Dynamic lookup :(
I misunderstood the Dynamic lookup part - If I am wrong this means that we will be having all our data in one table and will be fetching some values based on certain criteria ( i.e populating the look-up dynamically )
But in our project we cant use this as, we strictly have two seperate lookups for two different domains.
Just clearing the requirement once again -
1. We have one AD User form
2. OrganizationDN is a field on that form having look-up type values attached with it.
3. I need to decide the look-up definition name (one among the two ) which will be attached with this field based on user's OIM profile attribute
I am trying this with the API I mentioned above.
My confusions are -
1. First and foremost thing am I going in right direction.
2. If yes, will it be possible to get the formKey before the user is provisioned to AD ?
Also from the SDK Oerations I found this method -

Table control : Need to change Single field as non editable

Plz help me out. In a table control there r 7 fields and only one field is editable. When i change the status of a record as delete in tat table control, only the deleted record (all fields)should become non-editable. Is it possible? Pls suggest.

In PBO of your screen
you should be using a step loop like this :
CONTROLS control1 TYPE TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN 100.
LOOP AT itab WITH CONTROL control1.
ENDLOOP.
Where the control1 is the tableview control defined in your program
and placed on your screen.
Put a second loop on screen inside this loop ant set the related attribute :
LOOP AT itab WITH CONTROL control1.
LOOP AT SCREEN.
IF SCREEN-NAME = 'COLUMN1'.
SCREEN-INPUT = 0.
MODIFY SCREEN.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
ENDLOOP.
So you can set cells editable or non-editable
and you can filter it which record & which field..
